great video as always, tom. loving how wide open team selection is at the moment! i'm pretty sure in your canada preview you said to avoid SAR at all costs ... so people should listen to you're good advice more! 😁 i'm enjoying a wave of good luck at the moment. i switched from FER to MER and even though i had LEC he wasn't my x2 so i did pretty well in comparison to a lot of team owners. riding high (for now)! just wondering ... when choosing your team for spain do you have one eye on the following sprint race and who ideally you want in your team for that. are you thinking that VER should be a definite for austria?
Thanks Mr 3469 😅. Me saying to avoid Sargeant sounds like a likely thing! As for Austria - I'm not sure Max is entirely essential. I honestly think someone like Lando could provide a cheaper option which adds more balance to the team - MCL look great, Norris loves a Dotd, he also loves Austria (done very well here in the past). Spain will be an important clue to what we want in Austria as we assess various upgrades.
I think Ocom is a reasonable pick. If I were to replace him, it would probably be Hulk, Mag or Zhou. But all 4 of the above are the top four for combined overtakes and positions gained. So might be worth to hold Ocon
I have the budget to go with Ferrari merc Max and piastri but I’m scared of having Sargent in my team. I’m also considering rus, nor merc and mclaren but I don’t like no Ferrari or red bull assets
I’m just not wanting to “sell low” on my FER assets, so we’ll see how viable they look in practice but I really want to be moving in a heavy MCL lineup for Austria. I have Oscar. I could do a NOR PIA BOT HUL +MER FER … but I’d have to run SAR. Not loving that. We’ll see
@@potpanmanF1 The crazy thing is you'd like to believe in a track like Spain it would be hard for Logan to find a way to DNF...but he still might. He's literally destroying the potential for teams that have two high profile driver assets in them at the expense of having to include him in the roster to afford -_-.

Sargeant might be worth the risk for a team like that. He might be safer on a well known track

Yeah, Sargeant may be a necessary evil for some. I would avoid him as much as possible though! MCL fill me with confidence right now.
