HR-D3 isn’t new to the remake. It’s also based off a robot from a cancelled Kirby GameCube game, in which it was going to be piloted by Dedede, hence the D3 in the name. It’s also why it plays Roar of Dedede specifically in this remake. Also, while I would’ve liked a speedrun mode more, I still think the Extra Mode is alright because of the limited healing items making the game much more of an endurance run. Also, the EX bosses are really fun challenges, especially Magolor Soul. Plus, it unlocks the True Arena, which is INCREDIBLE in this game imo. This is the longest Arena in the series and it comes with all of the Magolor Epilogue bosses, a really fun Galacta Knight fight and a new, harder version of Magolor Soul, which also happens to be my favorite Soul boss in the series.
