Yo yo! Happy Sunday my friends, unless you read this on a different day, in which case I wish you a shit day. Just kidding. Hope you find the vid useful. Systemically abuse the like button for me. Nice one xx
@@Jeff__M Bruh just look at yourself at the mirror if you're getting too fat then stop the cut..If you're way too skinny then bulk.
Goddamnit Joseph it’s Monday now get it right fml.
Your videos never fail to motivate me brother.
@@Jeff__M I'd say bulk for 3-6 months in 2-300 kcal surplus, making sure most of your diet is like 50/30/20 ratio of carbs protein fat. That way you put on minimal fat and won't need to cut as long after
Joe delaney is my hero
Asked you for a full body 3x a week workout two weeks ago and you release this video
Joe Delaney is more efficient than a Scandinavian state
States aren't efficient I say as a Norwegian
Do you mean country?
One of the most helpful, well structured and informative training videos you've ever done. Maybe one of the best on RUclips. I've been going gym for about 4 years and still had a few "oh yeah" realisation moments from this that will help me improve my workouts. And you've gotten extremely good at explaining WHY you recommend X over Y for different situations. Thanks Joe
One week in Ramadan and I’ve been trying to cut some volume due to time constraints. Informative, useful, and timely 👌🏾
All the best with it bro
Been watching your "shit" for a long time now. And lemme tell you, your channel is one of the most underrated channel on fitness.
Yes yes, perfect way to start a Sunday
You're quickly becoming my favorite fitness RUclipsr.
I think best friend might be a bit much, but having followed you on off since Del Bros way back when, it's pretty cool to see how everythings gone for you for the past 10 years. And then reflecting like.. shit.. I'm 10 years older too.
No real point to this (apart from to maybe look like a massive stalker?) then to say hope your well mate, and the kinda more mature/focussed content is a vibe. Not that the Tommy B techno wobble story times weren't, because they absolutely were, but different times hey
Sage and solid advice! Kettlebell circuit training is killer for a quick session over lunch too
Joe your arms are in great shape and a really good size ,saying that you can’t lift heavy because of your bicep injuries. Goes to show you don’t need to lift heavy heavy weights to get good looking biceps. If anything they are the best part of your body! Great content by the way, excellent work.
As someone who can only really workout before work in the morning and is always looking to improve the efficieny of their regime, this was a godsend! I've only been lifting for about a year so I'm still very nooby and found this to be an extremely well thought out and useful video, cheers Joe!
Incorporated them supersets. Very time efficient and good for cardio too!
Love your videos mate !
I do one of these midweek when I'm at work. Call it a round robin or a toaster sesh haha! Something is ALWAYS better than nothing at all. Good video, the amount of times I used to duck a workout cause of time is unreal! When really, everyone has 15 minutes spare in a day. They just choose not to use it for a mini workout lol
Wow Joey D really upping the content
It's 2022 and Joe D is still playing with the PS3, respect!
most relatable fitness account out there, great video as always
good advice if you want to hit the gym before work.
Mate seen you out for some food tonight in Cheshire .. was sure it was you anyway wanted a pic but u was with the family so didn’t want to disturb👊🏼 love the vids tho mate
Much love to ya, Joe. Always enjoy your uploads and how down to earth you are with your explanations and training ideas!
This video is actually incredible.
Essentials Only: Joey Delaney videos are essential.
Great video and some great tips and tricks too! This is perfect for me on some days and the example days will really help me in the next few busy weeks.
It's interesting to hear you talk about essential exercises - can you do a video on all of the exercises you (in your opinion) deem 'essential'? - Like if you're following a plan excluding x movements or following your own routine excluding x movements then maybe we need to consider a change.
Superstring chest and back is so good and yes I don't go light
That steady content baby! Love you joe!!
Im gassing after a tough set of squats glad its not just me😂
I appreciate you Joe
The consistency with uploads these last few vids have been sick.
Thank you for the knowledge 🙏
Joe Delaney is my hero!
You’ve really been dropping gems hey
Good advice this one. Thanks Mr Monotone
Hey Joe, thanks for all the vids. Currently 7 weeks into your PPL program and loving it. Are you gonna do any more videos on your natural high series?
I certainly am mate. Glad you are enjoying the programme. I have been thinking of running a PPL again myself recently.
Great video, covered a lot of important points
Solid advice. Always appreciate the videos. One day I’ll actually go to the gym and utilise the great advice. When I’m not addicted to chocolate and have a bad back. 😂👍🏼
Great video, and as always well thought out, informative and to the point 😎
Even while training, no matter how quick u need to get through it, don't forget to control the eccentric moves as this is proven for the optimum hypertrophic gains
Great Video! As always, very useful content. Thx🙏
Man, that’s an excellent video Joe!
Thank you for the helpful advice and information.
0:03 mans playing Fifa 14 🤣
Great routine and good info. Shared with the boys.
4:43 good shit
Excellent video, great explanations
Excellent advice/info as always Joe, thankyou!🤘🏼
Most welcome
Nice vid Joey D we now need one for those who have all the time in the world🤣
I’m in the 40%…even consider my a “OG” he’s a top lad is Joe & my badminton body is all down to him. Thanx. Oh & it’s Wednesday,i never tube on a Sunday as it’s gods day.
Happy sunday brother
Been looking through loads of comments for the question but can’t see it asked yet… love your gold watch, can I ask the brand?
Casio AQ 230
Super helpful! Thanks brotha
I started doing Myo Sets
Just remember boys and girls when Joey D does a press up he isn’t raising his body he’s pushing the earth down, he’s so strong he can strangle you with a cordless phone , I’ve also head that whole the rest of us wear superman Pjamas… superman wears ones with Joey D on them - Joey D doesn’t do timesaving exercises he makes time stop until he’s done!
You have -- if you don't mind my saying -- probably the most aesthetically pleasing, beautifully muscular, and elegantly proportional physiques on RUclips. And I have come to regard you as a very wise soul - perhaps even an 'old soul.' I send my best from Delaware, USA.
Thanks Joe - great advice on planning quick workouts and all in a vid less than 12 minutes. Enjoy all the subtle (or not) humor as well. Liked of course and already subbed. SMASH the ^ button people!
The kind of video I needed!
Another sound video 👍
Would be interested in examples/advice on returning to training after injury and during times when injured, could pick some typical injuries to focus on such as a rotator cuff etc or just keep to generic advice. It is important to keep doing something no matter how little but what would you do Joe?…..cheers
Yeah, I am not an expert (actually quite far from it) when it comes to injuries and how to approach recovering from them. Maybe something to leave for somebody better qualified. There are some really good physio/rehab RUclips channels out there.
Thanks for the video mate! I followed your advice on improving my pull-ups a year ago and can now do 15 straight pull-ups! (I could do 0 last year). Will definitely keep some of the points from this video in mind the next time I'm in a hurry.
Also, the like button had to be sent to the ER, am i a bad person?
15 is really solid mate
Good video joe 🤘🏼
Joe's gunna marry that Casio pretty soon
Top vid Joe. Love your whit at the end. If your ever in Birkdale, I’ll buy you lunch. 💪👌
When you're in a rush but you have time to go the gym, change, workout, shower, change, come back from gym. Nonsense. Red thumb. Take a pack of water bottles in your kitchen and do isometrics when you're in a rush.
Can you bring back the vlogs Joe
Hey, great Video! I really like the idea of incorporating low fatigue exercises that focus on one muscle group only. I often struggle to recover when i train 5 times a week with your full body split. Maybe such a workout would help, I‘d definitely buy it if you made one😅
Yeah, those full body splits are pretty intense. If I had to criticise, I'd say they don't leave much/any room for anything else physical. When I play footy mid-week, it can throw my training off a bit if I'm just not ready to go in and do split squats the very next morning. If you struggle, drop down to 4 training days per week. Still complete every day of the programme in order though, so your programme week will fall behind the calendar week. You may actually get better results that way...
Thank you, I will do that and maybe also stick to the RIRs because I noticed i go to failure very often🤣 I did make great gains though, last month I had about 1,4 kg of muscle
You hear that guys. He’s my best friend ❤️ @2:15
2:40 Joe getting epistemological
What’s going on with the Natural High videos bro? Great vid btw very helpful
Hi Joe. Do you do full body every day?
Notification squad!
General question: if you can't make it to the gym, should you train at home (slightly sub-optimally) and risk not being fully recovered when you do get back to the gym, or just wait to continue your programme when you can get back in the gym?
I trained at home 3-4 days a week focussing on push up and pull up variations throughout covid lockdown before going back to the gym. Of course I wasn't as good as lifting weights because it's a completely different way of training, but I stayed in good shape and retained plenty of strength. I would say some training, however optimal, is better than none.
good video lad
Mans rocking Casio in the thumbnail 😂👌🏽
I still find it mad how you’ve got literally a full gym in your garage, will have to make room for the lambo when you hit 1 mill
Yo i love this
Sound lad
Thoughts on 5x5 Strong Lifts...?
Is this a Casio AQ230?
Ur my best friend now
what watch do you wear??? been trying to find out for ages
Rest between sets???
Please be my best friend Joe
Not my heroe, but definitely one of the more straightforward and no BS fitness youtubers 👌🏽
I'm too busy watching youtube to train for a long time
Happy Sunday???
Yooooo
I'm surprised you didn't major in kinesiology or exercise science in college given all your knowledge about the gym
Nah, I’m you’re best friend
Second
rent must be due
First!
I used to have the same problem.
Doing the 13 times table in my head helped.
why are you talking like you don't want to awake a random lion sleeping off camera
Most people spend way too much time lifting! Fine if you're pure strength training but for hypertrophy you can literally do that with one set!
Umm... Volume is just as important as intensity for hypertrophy. You won't have enough time under tension with one set.
Stale content, same format over and over, stuff only complete noobs wouldn’t know
