- This is a practical demonstration of the workings of MacPower M42 Portable Solar Inverter Generator Powerbank. The MacPower model M42 is a 100watts inverter with inbuilt 42,000mah lithium ion battery. The inverter already has an inbuilt MPPT charge controller. The solar panel is connected directly to the MacPower inverter via an MC4 cable connector.

It depends on the wattage of the appliances. If the combined wattage is more than 100w, then I suggest you go for our model M120 which is 400w inverter with 120,000mah inbuilt lithium battery.

90w is a lot. You will not get up to 6 hours with a 90w laptop. You will get about 3 hours.

The battery lifespan is about 600 cycles which is over 2 years. The battery is replaceable and we have it in stock.

Yes, it's possible to charge and use simultaneously. However, it's not advisable to do that often, as that, if done, all the time, may affect the longevity (lifespan) of the battery.
Yes, it can run multiple appliances at the same time, provided the combined wattage does not exceed 100w.
Pls for how long will it last
How long it lasts will depend on what you plug in. If you are using a 32inches LED TV plus decoder for instance, it will last about 3 hours plus.
If you are using 2pcs of 5w LED bulbs, it will last about 16 hours.

I use mine with a 50watts solar panel which produces up to 19v when there is no sunlight. The panel produces more than 24v around 12 - 2pm when sun is high.
I want to know if I can use solar charge controller for this inverter to avoid overcharge and damage.
The product already has an MPPT charge controller inbuilt. It has overcharge protection. However, it's advisable to remove the charger when the battery is full.

Although I am afraid to use the panel on a very sunny day cos my friends own had a problem and I think it was an overcharge cos it burnt the d.c input socket. Now he can't charge the device but he can still use for now till it completely discharges. I just need advice on this new tech.
