NOTE: The fabulous Dobbri Saxophon-Orchestra was a 1st-class dance band created in the 1920s in Berlin by the renowned Viennese bandleader Otto Dobrindt to become exclusively the in-house dance orchestra for the powerful Carl Lindstroem record corporation (which included Odeon, Parlophon, Gloria and Beka Records). The orchestra recorded the most up-to date German, American and European dance hits and their recordings are characterized by excellent arrangements, instrumentation and modern syncopated rythm. Back again on my RV Channel..that man in the checked shirt at min. 0.48....I've found out that he was the uncle of my own granduncle's first wife! So, that's my connection to RV...and I've written about this story on my blog and working on the video for my channel now...there is a a short there already with a closeup of this "mystery man." This man also is right behind RV dancing in that fancy club scene! As I commented earlier from my other channel, this is a wonderful video with some great pictures!!

This is the first time I hear "Tango"-Orchester Dobbri instead of his Saxophon-Orchester. It seems Otto Dobrindt simply was tops in every possible style. I loved the pictures you chose too :-)
This is a lovely Tango - good for listening but even better for dancing since the players keep excellent tempo. Hope that you had a good promotional weekend for your book. Otherwise - we have had a cool spring in my hilly town Pittsburgh. Hopefully - the summer will continue in the same mode - because excessively hot summer can be bothersome. Your artwork looks good as well!

Lost my play list when I changed internet provides and put my name as Jeff instead of my full name Jeffrey. Anyway when I disconnect from Frontier and go with my current provider maybe I'll go roll in the mud with my dog Raven. Love your channel. 20's music nothing better, just ask me and about 200 Vocalian red records and hundreds of Victors, and many Columbia, + other labels. What the hell do I do with them when I kick off in 20 or 40 years or less. I've collected 78's since I was a preschool child. Music I live by, but no one I know alive cares for it.
