I think the trades with the elders should be with netherite, rather than diamonds. If they can access any realm, they would be able to get diamonds very easily. The reason for netherite could be that, because they are cowardly, they dont like going to the nether as it is so hostile. Would make their items more valuable as well and make progression more linear.
I love seeing the passion and joy you put into these. as someone also who also grew up playing minecraft its so cool to see these ideas realized in game. thank you for sharing your journey with us. it's been such fun to watch so far.

LOVED THIS Hope you make even more Minecraft mods in the future Whimzee I have a suggestion make enderite more of a side grade then an upgrade like netherite has more defense while enderite gives more speed and mobility this can be done by if the player has the full set they get speed 1 or 2 with jumpboost or add some sort of teleport abiltiy while wearing the full armor set
Would love to see you expand on your older updates, like the Jungle update, which is by far my favorite so far, or do an update for Villages, revamping the buildings for every type of village

minecraft mod behind a paywall? time to go get my point-and-laugh stick. also, youre making enough money out of youtube viewership, you dont need patreons to fund these videos.
The reason for the simplicity behind Minecraft structures is that the larger or more complicated the structure, the more difficult it is to keep it within the correct biome or without it appearing floating or buried underground. You can see this problem with the new Trial Chambers, its randomness and structural complexity make it an easy target for endless spawnrate errors, lighting glitches, and deep dark biome generation bugs. What's more, to prevent the structure from clipping through caves, they had to generate a layer of stone around it so that it was artificially covered like a cave wall. Although by this point, I will not deny that they should have the technology to upgrade the old structures and make them a little more detailed.
The advantage that Whimzee has is that the End is partially empty, all the islands are at the same height but vary in size and depth, therefore, the safest area to generate the structure is floating at the highest point of the End.
But why is Mojang unable to make it in a way that those structures actually appear where they should be when Modders do it all the time? I know Mojang cant just do what modders do and they cant put everything into the game they want to but why does it have to be that Modders do it so much better than mojang des sometimes
Because if you know, RUclips doesn’t pay that well for small creators, and you need a stable source of income to get by, he’s not being greedy, you aren’t grateful, be considerate
@@AidensFrobot”small creator” is funny considering he rakes in millions of views, i don’t think he needs money so much that he needs to break minecraft’s EULA agreement
@@AidensFrobot He also calls himself a software engineer. I'm assuming that's his real job outside of youtube, unless it's a joke or he thinks data packs qualifies him for that title. That would mean he makes good money adding youtube revenue on top of that. The youtube revenue would easily compensate him for his time spent on this. He can paywall whatever he wants, it's his content. But he's only limiting his own growth + it's weird to be an 'engineer' that creates something meant to be shared... just to not share it. I doubt many people are raking out money for a small update when you can get many better mods for free
The pigeon coo is literally perfect, it made me smile haha. It's such a cute and clever idea for a voice and it fits in with the endermen sounds surprisingly well.
8:30 THAT IS SO OP! Like, what if you were being chased in pvp, and when you almost die, you teleport yourself to the end! It’s like an infinite enderpearl!
It's funny enough how Day 2 was spent figuring out a mechanic which the developers would obviously already know (you'd think, anyway), so in reality it would have taken them a few minutes for them to accomplish Day 2's work.
The enderman kind of built the end cities. The ancient builder race built them, and then over time, they evolved into endermen. The ancient builder race also built every other structure in the game (excluding the bastions).
Why would I ever buy a mod for 15 bucks a month when we all know mojang is about to update the end? Also, you're actively breaking EULA and people have called you out for it and you continue to do it. You're also just ruining the minecraft community by showing others that this is a market to make money in and not a community sharing art for the love of the art... If people like you continue to make mods and sell them, then the modding community on java will become just as bad as the marketplace on bedrock... possibly worse. At least there, mojang can moderate what gets made and sold. There is no moderation for java mods. Scams will run amuck. You should refund everyone who bought your mod and make it free. Offer donations, but don't lock it behind a paywall. You're selling video game fanfiction...
I can't imagine why you ever would. Then again, I can't imagine why you would complain about it either. There are plenty of good reasons for modders to monetize their content, and plenty of people making more expansive mods for free - just don't buy it. Microsoft is plenty able to enforce their EULA on their own.
You still think mojang is updating the end lil bro?😂 mojang will milk this game while drip feeding content, until the sun blows up, you act like charging for well crafted high quality mods is a bad thing. Mojang gets money for putting out bare minimum content every year, I guarantee they put in less work individually than almost any modder. Your whole point about Java mods is terrible, people are been charging for mods since the game came out, this is nothing new and for the record, Mojang/microsoft charge for way worse quality mods and maps that look like little kids made them, and you wanna know the only reason that rule is in the EULA is because it makes Microsoft have a monopoly over other paid mods, and make no mistake, if Microsoft could remove all free mods from Java, put them on the marketplace and charge money for them they absolutely would, as shown by the EULA which only affects them for the better. I hope you grow up and start supporting individuals hard work instead of greedy corporations that couldn’t care less
I think the real reason why Mojang employees don't make lots of updates is because the game would be overwhelming, most players are casual players that just want to chill for a little from time to time and the last thing they want is to open the game and see 500 new things
An example of this is genshin impact, I played it a long time ago when there were only 2 regions, and now there are like 6 regions, the map is way too big and the amount of content is enough to scare me and prevent me play again
but what about the people that have already "beaten" the game they get left behind in the dust just because new players would get "overwhelmed" like comon you should also think about those players not only new or casual players if the new and casual players feel overwhelmed then that's just their problem they can always switch to older versions
You do all this so fast, and it s so cool, but still I feel like it s never enough, I m addicted to your features showcases! Please continue, and don t take it as a pressure to do more and faster, we all know how hard it takes to produce those kinds of gems!
Nether update, aquatic update, village and pillage, caves and cliffs p:1 and p:2 and tricky trials (cope) exist too ya know lol. Also this couldn’t even be an update because there’s no way he could code this in bedrock too
@@WhatEvenIsTheInternetAnymore Mojang could code this in bedrock. I'm sure he could too if the files to console games were accessible and worth his time
2:28 I know that feeling, structure blocks absolutely suck. You can't transfer anything bigger than an average village house, who tf thought 40 blocks limit would be good?
@@JustinSimoneauThe reason Orespawn hadn't updated since 1.7.10 is because the creator didn't like the EULA as he was at the time trying to put his mod behind a pay wall, so he made his own game instead. Mojang definitely cares.
That was really cool. A final thought I have is about the flying books (Really cool!) namely that you should have a means of turning normal books or enchanting books into flying books and pick flying books out of the sky and have them turn (back) into normal/enchanting books.
@Whimzee concept for new end biome mod: SULPHURIC ACID BATHS -has small ponds and lakes of acid which deals high damage -small acid refineries around lakes with acid pumps -some sort of mob which shoots acid -geysers scattered around -you can infuse acid with tools to increase effectiveness -some sort of mob which crawls out of the acid when the player gets close enough
Two things, one please in the future add the invisibility shader thing (maybe bring a friend in), it's really cool and would be really unique Second, maybe they only are visible or enterable if the ender dragon is spawned in, forcing players to revive the dragon AND kill it when it's time to go back home (this tedious task would be avoided by the void compass)
I like how half the things added just completely kick the balancing in the knee. The elytra is already way too over-powered and you BUFFED it with an enchantment. I get that it's a mod, but it genuinely feels like you came up with everything without giving it a second thought.
I see what you mean, he could have added the downside of the elytra losing durability every time the boost is used since it breaks the sound barrier, also wouldn't boosting the elytra speed make it harder for the world to render (unless you increase render distance) and make it harder for players to turn a specific direction.
There are plenty of good reasons for modders to monetize their content, and plenty of people making more expansive mods for free - just don't buy it. Complaining in the comments is unnecessary and frankly grating. Microsoft is plenty able to enforce their EULA on their own.
@@Greenitthe Why do you feel the need to defend this scummy practice? I'm all for modders getting paid for their work, but they should handle it in a way that DOESN'T violate the EULA (Such as by making the mod free while simply asking for an OPTIONAL donation in exchange)
@@firehedgehog1446 Because I don't see paid mods as particularly scummy. The violation of a EULA is a fine legal argument, but is hardly convincing. The plethora of comments complaining about the practice read as self-entitlement hiding behind the EULA violation as a way to seem righteous. I am curious why you feel it is scummy when you appear to agree that modders should be paid?
@@Greenitthe Well I just feel that mods should be free either way & the creator be compensated via donation if people like the mod enough to want to donate it.
And thousands of programmers take a year to add an armadillo 💀
…While saying they can’t add 2 more mobs
Bedrock and Java are two entirely different sources of code. Of course it’s gonna take a while
@@Marino_Mania13 bruh what a restarted excuse, it take no longer then 2 days to code a damn armadillo
They don’t have thousands of employees let alone developers mate
Tell me you never touched coding without telling me you never touched coding:
Would love to see you expand on your older updates, like the Jungle update, which is by far my favorite so far, or do an update for Villages, revamping the buildings for every type of village
This build is so awesome! I love the flying books and I like the idea if the end being centered around knowledge! The only thing I would say that this desperately needs is floating candles lighting up the whole place, maybe with purple flames too
minecraft mod behind a paywall? time to go get my point-and-laugh stick. also, youre making enough money out of youtube viewership, you dont need patreons to fund these videos.
He's also violating the Minecraft EULA by doing this
@@ZainRussell-s4r Minecraft Marketplace: ._____. (still pretty expensive tho-)
@Whimzee you mentioned the ancient builders that you can learn more from game theory
I know Mojang cant just do what modders do and they cant put everything into the game they want to but why does it have to be that Modders do it so much better than mojang des sometimes
with like 10 extra structures mods it's pretty good, cause modders handle structure generation correctly unlike mojang does
@@Nicros21 you say it like mods have no glitches
@@RConTRSMC you say it like mods have no glitches
I discovered your channel this morning, binged some videos and now i I want to make mods and datapacks
why would you think it would be a good idea to paywall your mod?
Because if you know, RUclips doesn’t pay that well for small creators, and you need a stable source of income to get by, he’s not being greedy, you aren’t grateful, be considerate
@@AidensFrobot”small creator” is funny considering he rakes in millions of views, i don’t think he needs money so much that he needs to break minecraft’s EULA agreement
@DustySiren millions of view where? he has less that 200k sub and this video as less that 400k view after 2 week.
@@JustinSimoneau I think he's referring to the total amount of views he has.
7:36 bro is doing so bad he forgot beds explode in the end. I feel bad tbh
you are definitely my go-to for understanding tricky topics! ️
8:30 THAT IS SO OP! Like, what if you were being chased in pvp, and when you almost die, you teleport yourself to the end! It’s like an infinite enderpearl!
I don’t like the idea of this because it limits the elytra’s use a lot I think the trade for it should super expensive or it shouldn’t be added
It should have like a 30 second delay of something
It's funny enough how Day 2 was spent figuring out a mechanic which the developers would obviously already know (you'd think, anyway), so in reality it would have taken them a few minutes for them to accomplish Day 2's work.
This mod is what the minecraft end should have been all these years ago. Amazing work Whimzee!!!!!
Not gonna lie I was so impressed and when those flying books came out it that sealed the entire thing for me.
5:16 haha this bit is hilarious
Bro part 1 and 2 literally made my jaw drop irl. These look so amazing and now you’re making me consider buying a computer just to play this
The ryan trahan music just gave me a hit of nostalgia 😢

You’re not only doing things 1000x faster than a whole game studio, but you also are so creative with these ideas. You’re amazing man
Bro just made the best Minecraft update in 7 days and we don’t even get this 😭
Now see if it works in the next update like with the official updates
Glitchrocube???
Because only those paying can get this build unfortunately.
@@ExStrayz bruhhh
Oh I am absolutely in love with those flying books.
@@LunerEclipseHDI’ve beaten the game a couple of times and still have a blast in Minecraft. And the new tricky trials update was great
the problem is 90% of new things added in updates will never be used by players unless in extremely specific circumstances
@@picklehat1455 that is incredibly wrong though. Trial chambers brings a lot of useful stuff to the game

It's just a question
Yes it is. It clearly violates minecraft's EULA
Almost brought me to tears seeing the Grian inspired ceiling.

That was really cool.
A final thought I have is about the flying books (Really cool!) namely that you should have a means of turning normal books or enchanting books into flying books and pick flying books out of the sky and have them turn (back) into normal/enchanting books.
Bro already did this lol.
@Whimzee concept for new end biome mod:
SULPHURIC ACID BATHS
-has small ponds and lakes of acid which deals high damage
-small acid refineries around lakes with acid pumps
-some sort of mob which shoots acid
-geysers scattered around
-you can infuse acid with tools to increase effectiveness
-some sort of mob which crawls out of the acid when the player gets close enough
Bro eats mojang for breakfast
Two things, one please in the future add the invisibility shader thing (maybe bring a friend in), it's really cool and would be really unique
Second, maybe they only are visible or enterable if the ender dragon is spawned in, forcing players to revive the dragon AND kill it when it's time to go back home (this tedious task would be avoided by the void compass)
Faster than Mojang 🙂
6:42 What a notable statement
I like how half the things added just completely kick the balancing in the knee. The elytra is already way too over-powered and you BUFFED it with an enchantment. I get that it's a mod, but it genuinely feels like you came up with everything without giving it a second thought.
I see what you mean, he could have added the downside of the elytra losing durability every time the boost is used since it breaks the sound barrier, also wouldn't boosting the elytra speed make it harder for the world to render (unless you increase render distance) and make it harder for players to turn a specific direction.
I wouldnt say half, more so that one specific example.
He also added an entire new armor/tool gear and barely talked about it
Dog who cares if it’s op it’s end game bro like who honestly cares?
You should make a 100 days video with all of your "updates" installed
Once again,a perfect example of "one person does what 600 employees held back by Microsoft couldn't".
Also one slight thing, make it so you need to upgrade enderite from netherite so it won't become obsolete
I mean, they can't because Microsoft = dumb
great, now do one in bedrock
he would need a month because you can’t code anything there
Custome biomes don’t work in Bedrock at the moment. Also they are changing a bunch of stuff that will make modding harder lol

Yeah
you do not respect the eula your mod must be free and not obtainable thanks to a paid subscription
