    That's a nice setup , my only change would be to use heavy duty outdoor Velcro to mount the bubble box. Nice job !

    Just a suggestion.. I purchased a plug-in 120v aerator to use overnight and use the battery pump when I went fishing. It saves on D batteries and keeps them overnight.

    That’s a good looking DIY bait bucket… I don’t catfish as much as I use to but I crappie fish as much as I can. I’m gonna give this a try for my minos. You did a great job listing all the tools we needed too. That helps a lot. Thanks and wish me luck!

    Now this looks easy enough that even I could do it! 😂. Young man you did a great job putting this all together. Real clean build. Even better is that it’s successful with keeping your bait alive! Mine I can usually get a day or so out of. This so something I need to do soon. Great upload, I look forward to the next one!

    Love the concept, a suggestion I could say would be to use command strips for the aerator (2 on cooler and 2 on aerator) and that way you could easily attach and detach it as needed and still have a good grip, and the “cheap piece of metal” wouldn’t be a problem 😂 love the design bud

      @@Paulcatchesemall Just to let you know, I was at the David D. Terry West side boat ramp Thurs and someone tried to steal my catalytic converter while I was fishing in broad daylight. I reported it and I don't recommend parking there...your suspicions were correct. Now I know why nobody uses that ramp.

      @@edooutdoors316 o wow! Yea I won’t be going there anymore then. I use to put in at Remmel Park and a few months ago they found a body floating by the boat ramp… I always carry my gun no matter where I’m going, but you can’t be out fishing enjoying yourself while your worried about someone stealing/messing with your truck. I hope they didn’t get anything else. Thank you so much for letting me know. I will not be going there anymore. Stay safe

    • @Paulcatchesemall
      @Paulcatchesemall  2 года назад +1

      Thanks Jeff, honestly I probably would down size to a smaller cooler. Not too much smaller but just a little bit. Everything works just fine and all but it’s a little bulky for my taste. Just depends on what your using it for I guess. I haven’t been Catfishing as much and using this for minnows is kind of overkill. But if I was using it to keep panfish in for Catfishing it would work just fine. Thanks for dropping by. Let me know how your build goes once you get finished. 🎣😎

    I ordered the aerator, tubing, and stones and was actually looking at this exact cooler. Do you know if the top is hollow or is it insulated too?

    • @Paulcatchesemall
      @Paulcatchesemall  2 года назад +1

      If I’m not mistaken it’s also insulated. It would be goofy for it not to be. Let me know how your build goes. Mine is still working like a champ. Thanks for dropping by 🎣😎

    • @rticul8862
      @rticul8862 2 года назад +1

      @Paul catches em all I picked mine up today and it's hollow. I stopped by home depot and grabbed some spray foam insulation and plugs so I can drill holes in the corners and fill it from the center to get it completely full. I also ordered a rechargeable pump that is good for 72 hours and a separate 10,000 mah battery pack to compliment it, so it should be good for close to a week with no battery changes!
