Ive never actually sold but maybe two without the bar and chain except the one on your bench and just one or two others. Im testing carbs from several factories to customize a higher flow and the coils have already been improved and there wont be another one sent without an original NGK spark plug. The muffler was already modded on that saw with 2 exhaust pipes, maybeba pipe is more effeftive. It pulls stronger out of the box than a standard 372, not like you said. The current carb works perfect on 70.6 but there is greater power gain on a higher flow carb, a power gain. Ive sold hundreds and hundreds of these saws standard cylinder size to people who didnt change a carb, even pro people, all videos on this channel of these saws with the carb as it is being used as if they were original. Matter of fact yours is the first ive heard of being changed (EVER) in the first year except the 395xp carb tried in my personal example. As youve got it, figured with upgrades already done at the factory or already in the works on a custom carb, i would expect NOBODY would ever pay that price. I informed you the coil had been fixed or upgraded at the factory if you wanted one direct from the factory. It doesnt cut out of the box like standard it has more torque, as it came. You mention sending another one like that one. Theyre already NOT like that one. I made that clear when i asked if you wanted one from the USA or if you wanted one from the factory and you had firewood to cut so wanted it faster. Im not going to sell them WITHOUT the best ignition coil and a higher flow carb. I thought i made this clear.
@metalandwood4u you must be talking to Fabz. 😆 Some Chinese carbs are great... It's really a matter of hit and miss with these carbs. I've found bigger carbs work great on some saws and mediocre on others... lots of small details come into play... As for the unlimited coils... they're also hit and miss... you might have a coil last for years, and then you might have a coil that only lasts hours, days, weeks, or months... ya just never know. I'd like to see a comparison between OEM Husqvarna vs. these saws... a clean, bias free comparison... That would be interesting. Hell, a dyno test comparison for baselines followed by compression and port timing comparisons... that would make for a good video.
Steve, The Pro Mag 372xp 76.5 saw runs, cuts and oils as it should as was received pho so NOBODY is dissing the saw in stock trim. It’s FINE ! Buy one , go cut wood and be happy! You do not NEED to do ANYTHING to this saw …. HOWEVER, For those desiring top-tier performance from the saw OEM carbs and Coils are a PROVEN commodity! Folk routinely spend $1600 on a STOCK 500i and immediately send to out to be ported and end up with a $2100 chainsaw. I don’t hear a peep outta STIHL INC! 😂 … It’s common knowledge among the saw building community that these “clown saws” as you call them need some OEM parts to get the full pull out of them - whether purchased from YOU , TOM , DICK or HARRY … it is what it is so you shouldn’t read into it more than what you see here. I mean for chrissakes Steve I’m trying to help YOU , free gratis wtf 😳
Can you get ahold of an OEM orig 372 thats stk for reference sake to run against them by any chance? Will obviously be stronger jst wld be curious to see by how much
@jamiedalluge9472 Not all husky 372s were created equally... the early 372s were great running saws... the X-torque 372s... meh, I'm not a fan of them. Definitely agree that stock vs stock comparisons would be good to see. As long as the comparisons are fair and honest.
@RichFife cldnt agree more on the xtorq being a lesser saw then the og but their still a good saw. I'm fortunate enough to have several 365 specials,371/2 originals,2165/71 jreds.
@@jamiedalluge9472 the 365s, 371s and early 372s... 😍 I've built a bunch... and some of the early saws, I didn't want to touch because they ran so good in stock form.
It was my understanding that another PHO would be shipped to me to test however the other party stated to me this morning that he’s not going to send one , apparently he feels for whatever reason he is being portrayed in a poor light here. I assure you this is not my intention - My stated goal here is to make this 372xp 76.5cc pull like a stock 572xp (or better) and I simply cannot DO this without OEM parts! Cmon It’s a no brainer to ANYONE who has build these “clone saws” … You simply cannot make chicken soup outta chicken 💩
🤔 How much are these being sold for without your modifications? IMO, Someone could port/machine these saws and that would yield more for less. A simple muffler mod of the stock muffler is more than adequate, cheaper and faster to do. That momentary expansion/pulse/frequency does have it's benefits when the outlet size is correct. But 🤷♂️

@RichFife yeah im not exactly happy how things are expressed correctly.
@metalandwood4u I'm surprised you didn't get Ironhorse to do a video of testing/comparing your saws...

I've built a handful of j-reds as well. I have a 2077 that I need to finish... 💪

Yeah, that saw had a muffler mod as it came in the box.
Are you taking it with you when you go to next Sawfest?
