When you get disqualified from a game in the NFL, not only are you thrown out for the rest of the game, but you can also face a serious fine and suspension from future games.
At 10:21 the guy that gets creamed is Darren Sproles, "the NFL's smallest big time play maker". He's a good one to watch a highlight video on. You will see why the defender didn't want to give him even the smallest opportunity to break free. (not that I'm advocating smacking a defenseless kick returner)
he was known for playing for the saints and eagles. even though i was a saints fan when i saw this hit live i was begging for his fellow eagles players to step in. no one fucks with darren 😤💪🏼
When Suh was with Miami, I had a hard time backing them. As talented as he is, I'd rather not have him on my team. Still, it seems like more of an impulse control issue with Suh... Burfict was just dirty.
3:31 Owens had stood on the cowboy star after his first touchdown and was met with a chorus of boos from the cowboys faithful. Cowboys RB Emmitt Smith retaliated by kneeling on the star after his own touchdown, to an enormous applause. After Owens' second TD, he did it a second time, when Cowboy safety George Teague smashed into him. Ironically, Owens spent 4 years with Dallas from 2006-2009. (This occurred in 2000)
Idk if anyone has explained it but when a player slides they have given up on the play. They are down from where it started and don't even need to be touched. Some accidents happen where a guy slides just as they are about to be hit but most of these are egregiously bad.
React to Dr Pepper "Fansville" commercials. 😆 Hilarious, based on a whole town of fanatical college football fans that relate every event to football .
You should check out Suh's college highlights, he was an absolute beast. One of the most dominant defensive players I've ever seen in college. He wasn't a dirty player in college either, but when he went on to the NFL, started doing nonsense like what you saw in the video. Which is a funny contrast to his off the field personality, he's a really smart and chill dude.
That was so dirty stomping with his cleats! The Dallas Cowboys have that star. That was just a middle finger. These guys are huge. I can't imagine how hard these players get hit.
On that first clip everybody blasts the defender. But no one asks why did the QB wait so long before the slide. As a defender, you're running full speed, you just can't instantly stop when the QB decides to slide when he's already at your feet.
he put his shoulder into it and clearly tried to hit him, the defender totally shouldve known the qb was going to slide and shouldnt have been an idiot and run full charge at him and cause ur team to get a penalty and get fined.
My all time favorite team is the Denver Broncos. (even though I’m in Texas) I got into football in my early teen years. I got to watch Denver win two Super Bowls back to back-1998-1999. John Elway will always be my favorite QB, too. 💕
7:00 He did it because he knew McMahon was already dealing with a shoulder injury that he was playing through. That cost his team 15 yards, but knocked the opponent's QB out of the game. Dirty and cheap.
Honestly if he hadn't done it someone on another team would have. McMahon's habit of smack talking was writing checks his body was going to pay. It's pretty much the reason he was plagued with injuries.
Most of these guys are repeat offenders, once in a while there are close tough violent plays but when you’re know for doing shady acts you will have an eye on you all game, Suh and Haynesworth are those types of guys
3:09 Andre Gurode was a center on the offensive line. You also see T.O. in the Cowboys jersey... ... he played FOR the Cowboys after he played for the 49ers, but nice segway.
Kabir, there always had been dirtiest cheap shots in NFL history. Some are worried than others, but those that really hurt persons or almost cripple players are worried. That is what NFL has been trying to change some rules to make it safer for the players to play.
Oh yeah Terrell Owen's had done it a couple of times to the Cowboys. Teague was like not this time. Funny thing is Owens ended up coming to play for the Cowboys. He was a good player but toxic as hell!!
As a Detroit fan, Suh is an articulate gentleman off the field. On the field, he is a beast. he is the type guy you want on your team and fear him when he is on the other side of the line. I kinda miss Suh but dont miss the 15yd penalties
Suh is one of the dirtiest players to ever strap on a helmet. He may come off the field and seem normal but many sociopaths can pass a casual exam to seem normal.
Yeah, man, I guess it is safer that they took it out, but that was my bread and butter in high school. Pick out the other team's biggest guy and sit him on the bench. (Of course, I was NOT my team's biggest guy, and my old body is still paying for what I did back then)
4:00 they don't show the backstory. Owens scored a TD earlier and ran to the star and spike the ball on it. Then I Dallas player scored a TD, and kinda slammed the ball to the ground, but it a way where it wouldn't bounce, kind of like a "don't mess with us." sort of gesture. Then Owens scored a TD and did this.
Just for your edification, on that last clip, where the Steelers fell to 1-4 ... That was the last game they lost until the AFC Championship (the winner of that game plays the NFC champion in the Super Bowl) ... Many felt that that 1976 Steelers team was even better than their teams which won the Super Bowl.
Football is going down they call hitting someone high a dirty hit. But ask any football player would you rather get hit in the head and have a possible concussion or do you want them to go low put their helmet on your knee and destroy your knee. One of these injuries you’ll play next week the other one you may never play again….
In regards to Terrell Owens standing on the Dallas star after scoring, I think his mentality was if it bothers the Cowboy players, then they should stop him from scoring, but if they can't do that, then F them, he is going to do it. I was never a fan of Owens but I can see his point. "Don't be mad at me because I stood on the Star, be mad at yourself for not preventing me from scoring."
I was actually watching when Turkey Jones slammed crudshaw into the grass. I gave him a standing ovation. I can't stand pissburg, not because the team is full of cheapshot artists, but because the area i live in is within the 120 mile black out radius of that hole. Now don't get me wrong pissburg is a fine city with excellent museums and art, but we're pretty much stuck watching the squeelers or PBS.
@6:00 during the 1970s and 1980s the Packers were a terrible celler dwelling team that was totally dominated by the Vikings and Bears and struggled against the Lions(All four teams have been in the same Division since 1961 when the Vikings first season began) but the Bears and the Packers have been direct rivals since 1921, and the long years of ineptness made the Packers organization a bit on the dirty side, and made their only goal for the season to beat the Bears. The best part about the Flacco hit is his lineman defending his honor afterwards.
Suh has done some “mea culpas” in his old-age in interviews. He’s a definite “On-Field wacko” vs. “Off-field Nice Guy” type.
Naa suh just likes soccer ⚽️
He really is. Same with Burfict TBH. I have always loved both of them. That intensity is great as long as you don’t give up too many penalty yards.

I'm surprised Bill Romanowski wasn't in that video, since he's considered as one of the dirtiest players of all time, and some would say the dirtiest.

Held or holding is a penalty of 10 yards. Or it could have been flagged penalty for pass interference. Ball placed at the spot of the foul.
My mom taught number 18 for the ravens in the first clip when he was in highschool
Suh could have his own list, there were multiple more of his that aren't on this video
