I listened to this song sang by The Carpenters so many times in the past 40 years, that I can tell you with 100% certainity, that the backing track that was used to record this version is based on the Carpenters rendition. When you read the title of a song here on you tube or anywhere else, most of the time they write the original performer's name (followed by the title of the song) and not the name of the very first band who ever played it.

Well, I'd refer to getting a contract as selling out, and I'm glad she hasn't : )
Somehow all the top artists seem to be uninteresting, and Beatrice is one of the few interesting ones that I've come across. Both she and the guy have the star quality like the young Mercury or Slash, I just wish they'd tackle more kick-ass songs.
How is getting a contract selling out? Many people dream to be able to make a living doing what they love. Bea is the sweetest thing ever.

As in kind? Doing nice things for people? What exactly has she done? All we see is her covers - which can be great, but for me only two of them are - La Bamba and Two Princes. You might argue there's no accounting for tastes, but then what's her contribution to society?
To develop a thought from before, I think she and the guy can be big stars and with that engender a profound improvement in society, but apparently they have no ambition for even the former, let alone the latter.
She's sweet as in humble for her talents. I don't know about her contributions to society but she wants to be a doctor to help people.

There's plenty of medical talent out there, but what is desperately lacking is a good decision-making process - and that's what her talent is well-suited to promote.
Beatrice you and Andrei both do excellent on this one. It is one of my favorite. Johnny B Goode is EXCELLENT also.
The black and white video of the Beatles performing (lip synching) is great. You can tell John Lennon was born to sing that song. The huge sound they got on that song reminds me of Phil Spector’s ‘Wall of Sound’.
Andrei is quite a star himself. You see him everywhere from Sina to Beatrice
