    Ah lovely to see stuff like this IRL and not only in Blender.

    Would be very interested in learning how to design the file and would even be interested in purchasing the file directly. Great video, great piece of work.

      There are lots of ways to design these. But for me it was few tries and errors till I figured it out with SketchUp. From there it was only the matter of transferring them to a CAM/CAD software. If created a video explaining the steps, I will make sure to have the file available for download as well. Thanks.

    That's pretty cool sir. If/when you upgrade from the dewalt router to a spindle I highly recommend the PwnCNC 220v 80mm. I've got a code you can use to save a little money. But honestly the noise reduction alone for me was worth.
    Great video keep it up!

    • @PolarBeaverWoodworking
      @PolarBeaverWoodworking  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the offer. I think at the moment it would be an overkill for my CNC machine and the scope of my projects, but if I want to upgrade my machine in the future to a bigger and stronger one (which is very likely), I would definitely go with a spindle.

      @PolarBeaverWoodworking I'm considering doing this for my studio. But using the ridges as diffuser style panels and shoving sound proofing material in the slots to absorb. Any thoughts on how difficult this would be to make wall height?

      @PolarBeaverWoodworking  Год назад

      @@Bhackett7777 I can't picture exactly what you are trying to build. Would you please explain more so I would be able to help better. Thanks.

      @PolarBeaverWoodworking I guess my question is would it be difficult to do this on a larger scale?

    • @PolarBeaverWoodworking
      @PolarBeaverWoodworking  Год назад

      @@Bhackett7777 I don't think it would be more difficult. It is totally scalable and depends on the capacity of your CNC machine. It would difinetly makes it heavier though.

    How many 4' x 8' panels did you use? If you had to do it again would you stick with 1/2" ply or 3/4"?
    Thanks

    • @PolarBeaverWoodworking
      @PolarBeaverWoodworking  Год назад +1

      I had several 1/2" Bultic Birch Plywood off cuts from a projecet. They were 2' X 5' and I think I used 5 of them.
      I think choosing betwen 1/2" and 3/4" really depends on how tall and wide the final product is going to be. If I build another one 2x or 3x the size of this one, I would definitely use 3/4" ply. I would also leave more space between each board in a bigger design.

    🤩hi, I'm Fabrizio, a hobbyist from Venice (Italy); nice job, well done.
    I'd like to make one, I downloaded the file in pdf format. I will use a band saw for the execution;
    I would like to know the measurements of your model, I would make it smaller proportionately.
    Thank you

    • @PolarBeaverWoodworking
      @PolarBeaverWoodworking  Год назад +1

      Hi Fabrizio,
      Thanks for the support. I used 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) plywood, with 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) space between each slat. The whole model measures 58 cm (H) by 119 cm (W). Let me know if you need any other measurements.

    • @fabriziouliana6228
      @fabriziouliana6228 Год назад

      Not at the moment, thanks.
      I will bring the drawings from the pdf file to two third of your measurements (as a test I think it's fine), not having the CNC I will use the band saw to cut the pieces, then I follow the work as per the video.
      Thanks again.
      continue with the videos and your "beautiful" works.😊

      I would love to see how yours will turn out! Band saw is also a good option for this, I assume it only need some more sanding on the edges. @@fabriziouliana6228
