Host Dean Contover interviews U.S.A.F. Lt. Colonel Donald E. Sheehan (Retired). West Point graduate 1956. During his 23 years of active military service, he was awarded numerous decorations including the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam War Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Air Medal with 8 Oak Leaf Clusters to name a few.
Don’s last assignment was as Commander of the Air Force R.O.T.C. Detachment at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
He passed away on December 19, 2013. Age 82.
