I still can't believe after 12 years of MJ passed away, there still isn't an official DVD/Blu-Ray of Moonwalker in the United States. I think it's because the movie is technically owned by Warner Bros, not Sony.
Also, my dream project from the estate has always been a proper Blu-Ray double feature of Ghosts and The Making Of Thriller, both in HD. They can even throw in the IMAX version of Thriller for good measure. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Agreed. I mean there is a blu ray disc of Moonwalker out there, and the quality is pretty good, but it’s a UK version of the film. Can’t find it in the US at all unless you go online. But I agree they need to update all the video qualities of all his videos. Such inexcusable laziness in my opinion. They have the money to get the resources to pull off and all we do is wait… year after year.

MJ was life for me. I would try and grab clips from lime wire or Kazaa anytime i could. I remember back in 05’ buying about $300 worth of all MJ content from somebody overseas lol. It was from the Jackson 5 all the way up to the 30th anniversary. None of the stuff you could buy in stores at the time. We didn’t have the luxury of RUclips, as it was just in its infancy, back then so I was so excited to get those DVDs and watch concerts I never seen before all the way through. Ah, the good old days!
I remember this box set. It was being sold unofficially right? That was a huge gem back in the day. Still is a huge gem, there’s still not much out there to buy that’s better.

Yes, I went to see The Wiz opening night when it 1st came out at Westbury NY movie theaters, and everybody was dressed up and formal. It was an exciting night, and MJ was the reaL STAR OF THE SHOW.

I'd love video about the Wiz! I'm also a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz. It's a masterpiece and I watched it every year on TV in the 70's.

my favourite dvd was the one that came with the 'thriller 25th anniversary' album. it had the short films; 'billie jean', 'beat it', and 'thriller'. as well as the motown 25 performance of 'billie jean'.
My mom one Christmas got me this box set called The Ultimate Collection. 32 DVD set with a CD containing most his music, some full length concerts of various tours, music videos. Im not sure when it was released or if it was an official one but I absolutely love it to this day

I remember back in 2000 I asked my mom for her debt card and bought the vhs to Making of Thriller, and can't belive I lost it somewhere. When he passed away my friend got me and himself the Making of Michael Jackson Thriller on DVD and was very happy!!!
Mjfangirl here is some trivia in case you did not know Donald fullilove the actor who played the mayor in the Back to the Future he was a child voice actor he provided The Voice of Michael Jackson
in the cartoon. Edmund Sylvers of the singing family group The Sylvers of the 70s ( Jackson's wanna be family LOL) Edmund was the voice of Marlin Jackson in the cartoon.

I had a copy of Number ones, History 1&2, Live in Bucharest my grandfather burned from Netflix. I have a ISO made from a disc I got from Netflix. I had the official copy of The Wiz. I currently have the official copy of This Is It 3D and Vision.

That chaps me about "barriers" it should never have been about race, Idc what color anyone is, they should be able to persue their dreams!! If someone wants to push my buttons well that does I mean he seriously proved himself I mean....KING OF POP he is KING OF ANY MUSIC TO ME. It seriously upsets me using someone's race to stop something and I'm so glad he stood his ground and brought us amazing music, his talent, eye's, smile, the way he danced oh goodness he keeps me glued to my phone no matter how many times I watch him right now I'm still binge watching you and go back and forth listening to his songs. Yes I have it bad when it comes to gorgeous MJ he was so comfortable on stage well I think I would be too if I started out as a toddler, thing about Michael is not only was he humble but he was real and true to us fans, his talent is unlike anything, I will say this if half of these artists had even a third of his natural talent.....well maybe we would have better artists, I'm sorry but no one, absolutely no one to this day sounds anything like him. I just can't help myself when one of his songs starts, I immediately want to dance and of course sing solo LOL Michael Jackson is everything.....I just WISH I could have met him, I wouldn't have jumped on him but I can say they would have hurt me bad pulling me off of him because unless he forced me off I wouldn't let go ❤ Michael Jackson will always be my HERO, such a gorgeous man. Of course I loved and was in love with my husband before he passed away and I always will be and now I feel like that about MJ ❤ so call me crazy LOL it doesn't bother me ❤ not proof reading, can't find my glasses although no one will read this but that's ok
What a coincidence! A few hours ago I watched "Michael Jackson: The Life Of An Icon" (2011) documentary for the first time (on DVD)
Honestly I'm pretty dissapointed on it. I get that Michael Jackson's childhood was a really important part of his life and a starting point of his career but it just went on for way too long and at some points I got really bored.
I would have loved to hear more about his later career, from Bad to Invincible era.
I would give that documentary 3/5

the jacksons is the best biopic imo. "number ones" i was disappointed with it had the "fast forward" version of smooth criminal and not the full moonwalker version. I have a 3 feature documentary on one dvd called the ultimate thriller) it has "the beginning history" "the triumph life of a superstar" and "the tragic end what killed the king of pop"...im yet to watch them

These dvds are so old and outdated now, I have all of them as well, bought in the last 10 to 15 years ago. I really wish the estate would update Michael’s videos and bring out a new box set of his short films in the best picture and sound quality available like 4K HD. They also need to bring out all his concerts too in the best visual quality as they possibly can. And they don’t do it. All of those concerts and tours and barely any blu ray discs of his best work other than This Is It. Just saddens me that Michael gets shafted on quality video selection.

I have a couple of dvds now.
There was a track in Michael Jackson History On Film Volume II that was taken off, or I just can't find it on any DVD sold in the US. it is called MJ MEGAREMIX (mega mix). It is on youtube but the quality is poor. Every History on Film Vol. 2 that I purchased in Africa had this track. Those in the US do not.. If you haven't watched it, check it on youtube. You should have rewatched the DVDs, before making this video. Your comments were slight, if any. And too many,'I don't rember' s, so unprofessional. I know, your just a girl on a couch. But you should want to rise to the occasion, if you thought the subject was important enough, to film a video about it.....
