I totally agree with you, it is the memories attached to them... I lost my Dad recently from Covid and he bought me a Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5/Jacksons 3 CD set, and I will never let it go, it's so special to me that it doesn't even sit in with the rest of my Michael Jackson Collection, because other items are just randomly bought and have no personal attachment or memories too them. So I have some MJ items that are personal attachments, and others that are not. Amazing Video! X

Impressive collection. I think the rarest MJ cds I own are the Hello World compilation of all of his solo Motown albums, "Come & Get It: The Rare Pearls" a compliation of unreleased J5 songs that was released the same day as Bad 25, and the original uncensored version of HIStory (courtesy of my mother who bought it on release day when I was only 4 months old). I also remember buying both Number Ones and The Ultimate Collection on the day they were released in '03 and '04 with my allowance. That box set was a lot of $ for 9-year-old me!
The HISTORY cds were always gold inc.the first editions. The song “history” itself had its classical music intro changed after its reissue and a couple of edits on “they don’t care about us”
I was inspired by your videos and recently bought Jackson 5/The Jacksons CDs. I highly recommend Jackson 5 5 Classic Albums set because it's the cheapest option. The first MJ cd I bought myself was BOTDF HITM around 2010. I don't care for most of the remixes, but it reminds me of that special time in my life where I was learning about him and loving him more
That Thriller 25 CD/DVD combo is actually what made me become a hardcore fan. I believe the promo for its release was happening in 2007/2008, and I remember watching a special on BET about it. I have a lot of fond memories involving Thriller in general-like constantly hearing “The Lady in My Life” on a local urban AC radio station, me and my mom baking chocolate chip cookies and then watching the DVD that came with Thriller 25. Good times. Goooood times...

I love One More Chance from the Number Ones cd and another great song by MJ that was never released was On the Line. I think we should all go out and buy and encourage our friends and family to go out and buy Thriller so it can be the #1 selling album of all time in America. It is still #1 world wide. I have records including picture discs, cassettes and CDs. What I think you’d love is my folder of magazines, papers and clippings from the 1980s. I collected everything back then and kept it. When/if the pandemic is over I’m going to put them onto eBay for the next gen of MJ fans to enjoy.
My favourite albums of MJ are Thriller,Bad and Dangerous and I started listening to MJ at the age of 7 and I’m 12 now and my favourite song is beat it because it was the first song I listened to,My dad made me listen to it and that song changed my life and got me into he’s music less then 2 weeks
I have the green Invincible cd and I bought it recently on amazon, I thought it was going to be a regular white modern version but no it was the green version with the black spine and I was happy because green is my favourite colour and that made my day and also its Michael Jackson so yu know that did too😅

I started my MJ collection back in August 1995 with Thriller. Then after watching An American Dream I then got the double album The Jackson 5 Anthology and from then on, even to this day I am still collecting. I prefer original albums, but I did for a while have 2 albums on one. I am missing ABC, Thriller and Dangerous to complete my full vinyl collection spanning Michael's entire career. His Motown solo albums are without equal. They are just beautiful, sad and at the same time uplifting.
My dad told me that he had a cassette of BAD and he bought it when they were popular but i have no idea where it it and if i find it though...im gonna spend a few days just looking at it before actually touching it... Its so sad that i could never experience ANYTHING MJ related while he was there.i was three when he died and i became a fan VERY recently..in feb Happy to be here though! !!

With Ultimate Collection on streaming,they re-released Ultimate Collection as the Ultimate Fan Extras Collection in 2013 along with the Bad 25 outtakes,the Immortal soundtrack,and other random bits and bobs across eight discs. Not sure if there's still copies out there on streaming but I think they'd still be available.

I have the first pressing of History it's still gold and I didn't realise lyrics had been changed until I saw the They don't care about us video for the first time 😂 Tbh I never got over the edits on the Bad album made me glad to have bought it when it first came out! In the closet, Remember the time and The way you make me feel all had video versions available on cd single
Nice collection, but I suggest to buy plastic sleeves and cover the cds to prevent damages.. you can find them on ebay or Ali Express for good price... 😊👍
The day one pressing of the album was on gold CDs as well. The only thing they changed on the front was the sticker that has a little reading on the bottom of the sticker that says revised lyric. Other than that else is the same. I still have my day one pressing that I have bought on release date
I have the MJ Special Edition of Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, and Dangerous. The covers of the CDs are falling apart, except for Bad. I also have Thriller 25, Bad 25, History, and Invincible.

I’m a 16 year old Aussie CD collector, I have only heard his Thriller album but I can’t wait to get into him more he’s such a legend, I have Thriller 25th anniversary (no slipcase tho :() bad special edition and the doh Le disk history! I’m actually more of a Madonna collector, I have over 60 Madonna cds trying to get more everyday! How would you recommend I listen to him, cause I can’t just dive into five disks of unreleased albums straight away I wouldn’t rem,ever anything 😂😂 also do you have any janet? I adore her
Dangerous Special Edition comes with no bonus tracks or interviews because the maximum lengh of a cd is 80 minutes and the album last 77 minutes...so there's no room for any extra material...unless you make a 2 cd set.

I have the first pressing of History it's still gold and I didn't realise lyrics had been changed until I saw the They don't care about us video for the first time 😂 Tbh I never got over the edits on the Bad album made me glad to have bought it when it first came out!

Nice collection, but I suggest to buy plastic sleeves and cover the cds to prevent damages.. you can find them on ebay or Ali Express for good price... 😊👍

The day one pressing of the album was on gold CDs as well. The only thing they changed on the front was the sticker that has a little reading on the bottom of the sticker that says revised lyric. Other than that else is the same. I still have my day one pressing that I have bought on release date
I have the MJ Special Edition of Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, and Dangerous. The covers of the CDs are falling apart, except for Bad. I also have Thriller 25, Bad 25, History, and Invincible.

Unfortunately I don't have any Michael Jackson cds, I haven't been a fan for a super long time and I don't have anything to play cds in either. But I hope to start collecting cds and vinyls someday

I’m a 16 year old Aussie CD collector, I have only heard his Thriller album but I can’t wait to get into him more he’s such a legend, I have Thriller 25th anniversary (no slipcase tho :() bad special edition and the doh Le disk history! I’m actually more of a Madonna collector, I have over 60 Madonna cds trying to get more everyday! How would you recommend I listen to him, cause I can’t just dive into five disks of unreleased albums straight away I wouldn’t rem,ever anything 😂😂 also do you have any janet? I adore her
Dangerous Special Edition comes with no bonus tracks or interviews because the maximum lengh of a cd is 80 minutes and the album last 77 minutes...so there's no room for any extra material...unless you make a 2 cd set.
