Thank you, i just bought a well used a6 c6 with a mid console that was scratched and full of spots within the plastic, so now i can wrap it in a nice wrap instead 👌🏼
Great video if you really need to remove the console. Bad design on Audi’s part for allowing slim objects to fall down the cupholder lid gap. I just managed to avoid having to remove the console by holding lid fully open, shining a headtorch into the gap and passing a flat metal kitchen spatula wrapped with double sided carpet tape down into the gap to retrieve a couple of business cards that were blocking the lid from fully opening. Once the items are at the gap use another slim knife to ease them through 😊

Why did you need to remove your center console?
My cup holder rubber pieces were all ripped open so the metal prongs were sticking out

Thanks you for the video. Though my cigaret lighter of the passenger seats is stuck in the plug. is there any way to remove it ? You don't seem to treat it. In yourvideo although it appears there are screws over it at 5:40 ?
Maybe you need to replace the fuse for the lighter. Then it will warm up the cigarette lighter and it will pop out. Hope this helps.
There's only one big problem mine's backwards from yours I'm in the states so I have a left hand drive

Yes, it's just mirrored. Except one more difference, if I remember correctly - the small panels with PRNDS on it on my A6 C6 is not just on the side, but makes a whole frame around the stick. Maybe it's an earlier version, since my car was made in 2005. But I might be wrong, got to check it later.
