What is the Difference Between Adhesive and Non-Adhesive Heashrink?

Dual wall adhesive lined heatshrink tubing is ideal for producing strong, weather tight seals on any heatshrink installation. During the application of heat from a heat gun or other heat source, the inner adhesive wall melts and flows, creating an adhesion layer to ensure a snug fit to your harness and/or connector.
When economy is the driving force, Shrinkflex® heatshrink tubing is the answer. Shrinkflex will still slide easily over small inline splices and connectors and shrink down to 50% of its original diameter to fit snugly over the wires. Yes ! ... Adhesive lined heat shrink is EXCELLENT for surrounding the soldered connection to a ( salvaged ? ) 2 Kw oven element ... this can then be ( safely ! ) used as an emergency BATH WATER heater ( for when your boiler breaks down ! ) , you would NEVER want to use plain heat shrink for this ! ! ..... ( tried - n - tested ) .... DAVE™🛑
