The song is very sad. It's about a girl who loves another girl but people say it's not the right thing to do. And this girl think about suicide. The music is great but of course when you are french and you understand each word that she's singing, it's so much powerful and deep. Mylene is a great songwritter. It's always a pleasure to see your face and to see you appreciate the music.
No adonis No artifice Neither laws nor gods She is gifted at it A touch nihilist Melancholic Sometimes wanting To top herself Seated on her bed Blue in grey She is different It is her own way It is not her choice And when she is told That it is a wrong thing To do Intensive treatment When we are two it is less sad In her mind Two hemispheres Hapiness and sadness 1 A game of artifices Being able to love How to manage Being frightened of Not knowing where to go A place tying us down To Earth The heart is right side up But it is time Her heart is inside out She said that she loves She also said that such a world Makes us shun noise and sarcasms She loved her life And it is what makes her charming But in her life She has written So many useless Chapters To the smallest Word which healed Rescuing a soul It is so frail Seated on her bed She looks at "the misunderstood" And she no longer Cares But whatever she thinks about it She loves a girl She felt on the edge of the abyss
there is no need to understand the lyrics, some singers transport you only by their presence, their music and their voice and myléne is one of those. music is universal. for info the song is about female homosexuality, the freedom to love and to take responsibility for one's choices without worrying about sarcasm.
you know all of Mylène's words speaks of: suicide, sickness, death, sex, sensuality, religion, love, death, ect ... even if the music sounds catchy on the first ledge in the end when you read the lyrics ... this one is about a girl who is homosexual, who is not necessarily accepted and who therefore wants to commit suicide ... but here are the main themes are melancholy, love and thé dead 😉
@@SandraSampsonColdfeet with pleasure 😉 now you know more or less what she is talking about (death, melancholy, everything I told you) and you know her world a little more. because I don't know if you know either but in 37 years of career she has only done 7 concerts, tours (1989,1996,1999,2006,2009,2013 and 2019, maybe it's the last one don't know ). In France she is especially named the mysterious woman, secret because she does very few interviews (i.e. for example one every year when she releases an album, otherwise nothing, she does not promote which does not prevent her from selling her albums very well, or from selling concert tickets in record time (it is sure that given the dates I gave you above, she does not do much). example in 2009 in 2 hours I think it filled the stadiums in France twice (which contains 80,000)! in short, I stop bothering you with that 😉
Merci beaucoup 😊

No adonis
No artifice
Neither laws nor gods
She is gifted at it
A touch nihilist
Melancholic
Sometimes wanting
To top herself
Seated on her bed
Blue in grey
She is different
It is her own way
It is not her choice
And when she is told
That it is a wrong thing
To do
Intensive treatment
When we are two it is less sad
In her mind
Two hemispheres
Hapiness and sadness 1
A game of artifices
Being able to love
How to manage
Being frightened of
Not knowing where to go
A place tying us down
To Earth
The heart is right side up
But it is time
Her heart is inside out
She said that she loves
She also said that such a world
Makes us shun noise and sarcasms
She loved her life
And it is what makes her charming
But in her life
She has written
So many useless
Chapters
To the smallest
Word which healed
Rescuing a soul
It is so frail
Seated on her bed
She looks at "the misunderstood"
And she no longer
Cares
But whatever she thinks about it
She loves a girl
She felt on the edge of the abyss
