The fight was between an elite Noxian soldier and the leader of the local trolls who are defending their territory.

The Black Rose part of Arcane was not superfluous. It pushed Ambessa's motives and unlocked Mel's potential. The entire world of Runeterra is interconnected, you can not have a show about 1 region without exploring the others. That would be so 1 dimensional imo. The entire point of the show is to move through the different regions and how that creates Runeterra. Idk for League players I'm sure we all wanted season 2 to be EVEN MORE about Noxus. And in the Noxus show we will probably want more of Ionia and Demacia. There are too many stories to just focus on 1 region and 10 characters.

I think they needed another 3 episodes, not a whole other season. If it had been 12 instead of 9 I think it would have been the perfect amount of time. Either way as far as THIS cinematic goes, it's a trailer for a lore-related season of gameplay changes, with new skins for characters, a redesign of another, and Mel being added to the game as a playable character. The map the game normally plays in has been changed to be Noxus-themed, with some lore-related easter eggs scattered around, and there's another lore-related skin coming later for a character who is very important to Noxus' history. My personal theory is that, since Christian Linke said whatever they do next he wants to be in Noxus, Demacia, or Ionia along with the rumours that they've been working on whatever is next for at least a year, I'm thinking we'll get an announcement for a Noxus show that may or may not cover the Noxian invasion of Ionia as a tie-in to showcase that region as well, and the Black Rose are big players in all of this, which is why there's such a heavy focus on them for everything. Yes this is directly after Arcane so we see a young Darius making a name for himself by trying to take over some land from the Frieljord and yes that was an ass whoopin he'll never forget XD
Everything that drops, I am like "oh oh, Swain, are they gonna show Swain?" and they ever only hit at Swain... Can't wait for when they finally show Swain xD (or Fiddlesticks terrorizing the hell out of Demacia, that'd be cool)
IMO they are waiting for the next show to air before showing Swain. In my eyes, he has the potential to become the next Silco (charismatic villain so well written and so complex that everybody end up loving him) so they wont spoil the surprise. At least that's what I would do
Warhammer episode in secret level show is taking place after events of Space marine 2, so if you will play it maybe you want to watch this episode later
That is indeed Mel, this cinematic seems to hint at Mel going to Noxus after the events of Season 2 and being introduced as a new League Champion. The cinematic also possibly hints at a future show, yet it hasn't really been confirmed yet. By the way, I love your reactions!
Hey! I love you reactions, and I believe you’re going to enjoy a series called Invisible City. I’m a Brazilian fan, and this show is about Brazilian folklore, with lots of fantasy, drama, and a great story. I would be really grateful if you gave it a chance!
honestly, the dual between Darius and Trundle is probably pretty complicated, especially because we aren't really sure when this takes place, Darius looks pretty young here, and, we don't really know how much the story will change now. but, from my recollection, Trundle and the trolls are pretty imperialist, themselves, and are trying to conquer the Freljord, themselves, and attack a lot of people, for example, the Avarosans. so, it could be Noxus being the agressors, or the Trolls, though, i find it interesting that Darius was willing to settle things in single combat,
actually, a comment on a different reaction suggested that Darius wasn't supposed to win, or survive his Duel with Trundle, Considering this possibly takes place in the time of Darkwill, and Darius seems like a popular general, I could picture a paranoid, despotic tyrant sending a threat on a suicide mission, akin to certain real life dictators.
You are so correct about Arcane season 2, it was definitely rushed. They could have milked it out so much more. Then again, for a League of Legends player for over 10 years, I thought Piltover and Zaun were the least interesting regions for me. I think Riot realized that as well and they wanted to expand their horizon so much further. So much bolder and so much more epic.
I don't recall if you've already reacted to it, but Ambessa does have a prequel video, it is "Blood Sweat & Tears ft. Sheryl Lee Ralph | Official Music Video - League of Legends".
There is no way you will...but you should watch EXU Calamity. It is one of the greatest pieces of media ever created. It is potentially life changing. I know a couple of people that can point to Calamity as the point in their life that things changed.
Regarding D&D videos to watch; Perception Check by Tom Cardy is a must watch. But that is literally a song, so probably just for your own amusement kind of thing :)
Other than arcane s2 was a bit rushed, the black rose part was kinda much better for people somewhat familiarto league lore. Before that it felt kinda disconnected from the lore, other than the character names and the hextech.
Not exactly, the trolls are also invasive and imperialistic, they kill native Freljordians to claim their territory. In this sense, it was just two aggressors finally bumping into each other.
The pacing was indeed insane in Arcane, but I would not necessarily call it rushed. Only unconventional, and I think it made the story work. Like Jayce said to Viktor: there is beauty in imperfection. And so I have to say the symmetries and how they played with that yin-yang motif made it the right decision to go with two seasons and not with three. But I know, I am weird, and that I actually like high concept approaches. Also, regarding this video here, yes, Trundle (the troll in the video) is the indigenous person, and that fight seems to take place at the border of Noxus and the Freljord, and I would guess the Noxians started it, since they are all about conquest. But I could be wrong, and it was aggression from the trolls that led to that duel. In anyway, I liked seeing it. And as someone wrote on the official video, it represents so well the top lane experience in game.
It's not gonna be a sequel or a prequel. The next show is gonna be exactly like Arcane. It will probably start in the past with Ambessa, Darius and the others being young war brothers and sisters. Arrive at the present and then push a little past it like Arcane did with Viktors story that did not exist in the lore yet. All the shows they plan to do are the same: introductory shows to different regions. Noxus just like Piltover has class wars, betrayals, politics (a lot) and the whole package. So they simply want to show Noxus. Then they will move on to the next region, etc.
I wasnt a fan of the animation mainly because the main guy for Noxus (his name is Swain) wasnt in this. I'm hoping this means he will be the main character of the next arcane show!
"The Black Rose was a little superfluous to the story of Arcane and it made it a little muddy... I think the show would be better without it... season 2 should have been two seasons," I completely agree with this assessment, but you put it more succinctly than I could. With Ambessa being the main villain of Season 2 they needed to establish a justification for her ruthless pursuit of hextech, as well as other weapons like Warwick and Viktor, but it felt kinda rushed and unconvincing imo. Mel's storyline was my least favourite of the entire show because it felt superfluous, like the setup for another show rather than an integral part of this one.
The masks is a ball being held by the black roxe yes that black rose the lady at the end is the shadow lady from arcane season 2 her actual name is deblanc she is oldest human alive if can call her human she was around at the start of noxus and could be deemed a anti hero She inprisoned a evil undesd monster who tried to wipe out the world and then buiot noxus ober his death now she prepares for the beasts resurection by gathering an army of mages Her goal is good but her actions are not she kidnapps magic children and raises them as weapons thats what she wanted to do with mel
Just to clarify, The Black Rose have always and already existed. I also preferred the quicker pace because of how the show should feel, as if everything is happening at once and it's difficult to keep up, as that's what the characters all feel. But it's just my opinion on how I prefer my stories to grow and continue, as Runeterra didn't begin with Arcane and it doesn't end with it either. It's just one, and a small one, of many stories, and the Black Rose is a much larger one in play, as that is Noxian power.

True. And Mel didn't had to be fleshed out as a main character. I'm totally fine if she died in the story. Her, acquiring power out of her butt was so cringe. I hate that this new character can randomly square off with the original cast, i hate that she can disrespect mommy leblanc even as a clone. Mel was dealing with an ancient myth legend 😂 how is she so ballsy with such undeserving power. Power of golden spoon fed lol. Freaking irrelevant character. I would like her more if she stayed in like the first season.
Hot take: Kinda lost interest in Mel after season 2. She went from this cool, collected, and calculated strategist who had an asnwer for everything to the stereotypical "chosen one" which is always boring imo. Maybe they'll flesh her out but lol hit glowy golden win button is not it for me. Kinda venturing into Mary Sue territory

Yeah dont think we needed a season 3, but either longer episodes, or a few more would be better.
At least that's what I would do
The Katarina comic had the best sudden-Swain cameo ever. Check it out if you haven't.
Warhammer episode in secret level show is taking place after events of Space marine 2, so if you will play it maybe you want to watch this episode later
WOW! Colonizer HannaH 😂😂😂
🥴🥴 I was just making an observation, and then trying to be neutral! Don't cancel me!
That is indeed Mel, this cinematic seems to hint at Mel going to Noxus after the events of Season 2 and being introduced as a new League Champion. The cinematic also possibly hints at a future show, yet it hasn't really been confirmed yet.
By the way, I love your reactions!
They did announce they are doing three, focusing on the big three major areas, starting with Noxus, then Ionia, and then Demacia
Hey! I love you reactions, and I believe you’re going to enjoy a series called Invisible City. I’m a Brazilian fan, and this show is about Brazilian folklore, with lots of fantasy, drama, and a great story. I would be really grateful if you gave it a chance!
I think you're really gonna enjoy the Space Marine (episode 5) and the Armored Core (episode 8) and The Outer Worlds (episode 9) episodes.
honestly, the dual between Darius and Trundle is probably pretty complicated, especially because we aren't really sure when this takes place, Darius looks pretty young here, and, we don't really know how much the story will change now.
but, from my recollection, Trundle and the trolls are pretty imperialist, themselves, and are trying to conquer the Freljord, themselves, and attack a lot of people, for example, the Avarosans.
so, it could be Noxus being the agressors, or the Trolls, though, i find it interesting that Darius was willing to settle things in single combat,
actually, a comment on a different reaction suggested that Darius wasn't supposed to win, or survive his Duel with Trundle, Considering this possibly takes place in the time of Darkwill, and Darius seems like a popular general, I could picture a paranoid, despotic tyrant sending a threat on a suicide mission, akin to certain real life dictators.
Ambessa gets a novel by C.L.Clark Releasing on Feb 18.
Black Rose is the one who founded Noxus
You are so correct about Arcane season 2, it was definitely rushed. They could have milked it out so much more. Then again, for a League of Legends player for over 10 years, I thought Piltover and Zaun were the least interesting regions for me. I think Riot realized that as well and they wanted to expand their horizon so much further. So much bolder and so much more epic.
I'm confused because where did her reactions to Arcane even go?
I recommend episode 2 and 5 which is sifu and Warhammer. It very very good.
I don't recall if you've already reacted to it, but Ambessa does have a prequel video, it is "Blood Sweat & Tears ft. Sheryl Lee Ralph | Official Music Video - League of Legends".
I have that's the video I was talking about at the end of this one that I should rewatch after finishing arcane
@@HannaHsOverInvested Ahh makes sense. :)
There is a book coming out about Ambessa and her past. You will like i it i guess :P
There is no way you will...but you should watch EXU Calamity. It is one of the greatest pieces of media ever created. It is potentially life changing. I know a couple of people that can point to Calamity as the point in their life that things changed.
Black Rose exist in League of Legends and Arcane
React to the lore explained video about Black Rose. Necrit will explain why they added Black Rose in Arcane and it makes sense.
Regarding D&D videos to watch; Perception Check by Tom Cardy is a must watch. But that is literally a song, so probably just for your own amusement kind of thing :)
My bet is that Mel will find out more about Ambessa
Other than arcane s2 was a bit rushed, the black rose part was kinda much better for people somewhat familiarto league lore. Before that it felt kinda disconnected from the lore, other than the character names and the hextech.
Bravo.
Good Morning @Hannah Don’t Forget Please! Bleach Rebirth of Souls Trailer all Characters Watching
the show is made by the game lore, they can't take out parts
What?? Noxus totally likes making "friends"... very, very aggressively.
😂😂😭😭😭
watch necrit explaining the black rose you will understand
You're actually right about the natives xd
Not exactly, the trolls are also invasive and imperialistic, they kill native Freljordians to claim their territory. In this sense, it was just two aggressors finally bumping into each other.
@@thatpunkcatte true, but still kinda funny to think of them as just natives being assaulted by noxians 😂
I agree. Had they slowed it down, the story would have felt spoon fed. It's very much a keep up or rewatch it again storyline
This is a video promoting the new League of Legends game season and not a new TV series.
It is not Dungeons and Dragons related, but can you watch Internet Historians video Fall of 76?
What happened to your Arcane reactions?
I wasnt a fan of the animation mainly because the main guy for Noxus (his name is Swain) wasnt in this. I'm hoping this means he will be the main character of the next arcane show!
Trundle was indeed indigenous and protecting his land lol.
It did look exactly like that.
React opening world final league of legend 2024 ceremony please
Holy crap I didn't watch your channel in some time (but will again!) but you look TIRED! What happened? :D
You look like you haven't slept in 2 weeks, you good?
The masks is a ball being held by the black roxe yes that black rose the lady at the end is the shadow lady from arcane season 2 her actual name is deblanc she is oldest human alive if can call her human she was around at the start of noxus and could be deemed a anti hero
She inprisoned a evil undesd monster who tried to wipe out the world and then buiot noxus ober his death now she prepares for the beasts resurection by gathering an army of mages
Her goal is good but her actions are not she kidnapps magic children and raises them as weapons thats what she wanted to do with mel
React to anything Dimension 20.
This 8snt a trailer f9r a spin off show this 8s the next game pass season 9f league this 8s the meta arc of the entire league of legends 7niberse not a small teaser f9 a show
XDDDD At least your aware you might be supporting the colonizers 🤣🤣
🥴🥴🥴
Not at all.
