I'm not sure if it's an older version or younger version. It's a completely different animation design style. I'm thinking that within that house he doesn't really age as he's supposed to be there forever. So to me, the new Constantine design was a twisted reality version of himself, as he sees himself, lesser than what he actually is and how others saw him.
It's also cause after the flashpoint. They went back to a more loosely connected universe to have varied art styles similar to the DCAU continuity up until Flashpoint to start the DCAU new 52 continuity. Cause the new animated superman, Justice society (cause Barry ends up in WWII with them) and the Batman Soul of a Dragon movie. And they also went back to the loosely connected continuity to have more elseworld films starting with Injustice.

I always liked (and preferred) the DCAU movies, since Marvel doesn't do them (not to my knowledge anyway), and it's the one area where DC shines over Marvel. And i love constantine, he's a fellow Brit :P (the guy who voices him also voiced Manchester Black in SMvTE)
Well actually marvel did make movies and put effort into them my favorites were Wolverine vs Hulk, Doctor Strange, and invincible Iron man and marvel is slowly putting effort into their animation again which I’m grateful for
Marvel did do animated stuff. Back in the 80's, in the vhs tape era. A friend went to block buster video, and showed me some marvel cartoons, I have never seen before.
Yeah marvel never could get the voice acting to work out. It’s like they are trying to copy the actors that play them in live action. Dc has in my opinion always had solid voice actors

I don't exactly understand why Constantine has to be the one to pay the price. Ultimately it was the Flash who changed the past. Twice now. I'd like the to think the Flash is important and necessary for the universe whereas Constantine was just a scapegoat cuz he ultimately doesn't play that big of a role in the universe
No Constantine was punished because he used a spell when flash created another paradox a spell where it changes events that were supposed to happen like Constantine said he used a spell to prevent Dark Side from finding earth and that made the universe angry.
Seems more like the universe views flash as a tool in this change the first time it was a minor change which barelly had any effect on the universe as a whole, at most the equivalent of one of your cells making the chemical reaction that makes u scratch your arm, while the second time he was supercharged by constantins magic to change the universe into an ideal one the equivalent of having your body taking by a celular recosntruction machine that destroys your entire body and recreates it from scratch but you remember the pain, if flash had changed the past on his own the concecuences wouldnt be as big, but the magical super charge is the issue

I think the biggest problem is that Constantine used magic to control the outcome of flash going back, while flash just did one thing to change one thing, save his mother and then stop himself from saving his mother, Constantine used his magic to make all the right things go the exact way necessary to prevent the apokolopis wars. The problem isn't the time travel of flash, but the time manipulation of time. At least that's what I thought to make sense of this.
The magic aspect of the DCAU is always a side faction when marvel does it in the front with Dr strange and the other magic users. I actually enjoy the magic DC adds a lot more but it only comes up a few times Oh yeah apokolips war was so dark
I prefer DC's magic system more than Marvel's because it's more fleshed out and has it's place in the comics. In Marvel you got the stupidest origin stories for magic Characters, like Storm and Wanda being magic because they're mutants, while DC uses mysticism, aesthetics and rules for each magician with various sources of power. I remember reading somewhere in DC that "Magic has rules because it already breaks most of them", while Marvel has a very lose system of rules that ends at the current author's pen.

your missing the whole point of why he was pushed to make flash do this. darkseid had stolen almost half of the earths core which meant that the earth was already dying even though they won the war. which meant everyone on the planet was going to die anyways so they're only hope was go use flash to change time. even with so many dead they wouldn't have resorted to changing time if that was the only reasons.
So, did they make a continuation with Flash going back in time again to try and fix the problem by creating another Flashpoint? If not, are they planning on doing the sequel or what??

In the end he didn’t do it to be selfish and reluctant and as grumpy as he was doing it he did it in hopes of saving everyone giving them another chance because he cared about everyone and if it weren’t for him the team wouldn’t have gotten as far as he did , he redeemed himself trying to save everyone and he loved zatana who he deserved to spend his time with. It’s crazy how he died and was with her he was happy with her there at peace but she sent him back to life so he can save everyone and then he ended up in a nightmare for it
Damn every time I look at a DC Comics or animation thing its DCeased, DC vs Vampires, Dark Apocalypse, Flashpoint, Under the Red Hood, now this. Why does DC love torturing their heroes so much??
His only chance to see how the house functioned would've been when he realized that the horrors were becoming more frequent and radical as he became privy to them. A happier ending would see him eventually conceding to his fate only to realize the nightmares receding as well. But he was too smart, even for his own eternal punishment/salvation.

I missed Marvel animated content. Wolverine vs hulk and wolverine vs Thor was good. The animated series became meh after earth mightiesr heroes cancel and Spiderman rebooted to a flat lame version. Marvel only care for cinematic these days.
Since people seemed to have missed the interp, basically the intent is this: -by killing darkseid, a fixed point in the universe, she shattered reality, causing the many earths to form, that would then get subsumed until all was gone. -he sees this nature of the universe, and the reason he begs to die, is because hes being sent into it to live through it all. The price is not revenge, it is not harm. It is john Constantine knowing exactly what is happenening to the universe from the dawn of time, and having to live as a pariah until he can repair it.
This doesn't make any sense to me. If Barry is prohibited to change the timeline, then it should be also Reverse Flash too. He did it more than twice tho. But then The Universe and Spectre says Nah?? even without Constantine's spell.
To be fair it was Reverse Flash first, then Barry stopped Thawne to stop Flashpoint which made a whole other timeline. Then John read Barry's mind. He tried to bring Zatanna back and save everyone. This isn't John's fault. Barry did this.
It was actually Barry stopping Barry first. Then John made Barry create another Flashpoint. The 'universe' should be punishing Barry who caused both Flashpoint's. Even then it's really unjustified as Darkseid screwed everyone and everything over.

He had not used magic, he convinced Flash to do another Flashpoint after the defeat of Darkseid (as the loss and the damage to the planet have been too much and frankly there were no other choice than a fresh start)...basically Flash was the gun but he was the finger that pulled the trigger. Plus Constantine had made angry every great magical power of the entire universe during his career, so while Flash got a semipass by the Speedforce for the first flashpoint as he had put things together...john no as he had done too much in the past

Imagine if John Constantine was the sorcerer who fought Scarlet Witch in Dr. Strange 2, interesting Chaos Magic Fight/Battle! The story could have been that in the 2nd Act Dr. Strange enters a dimension that takes him to the DCUE Magic User Universe where he makes a deal with John that if he combats Wanda, he'll combat Felix Faust or Karion (Witch Boy), interesting Plot twist!

My main problem is why John Constantine is the only one wanted by "The Universe" in these matters? Speedsters in their ridiculous gimmick are effing up Space-Time continuum with time travel in every lousy thursday... Why can't I see The Universe or Spectre is coming for speedsters? Even Superman did that before the Crisis nerf. Edit: I am uncurious for lengthy silly speed force related explanation. Speedsters should be nerfed back to the Stone Age and they should get a weakness. Heroes and villains with anti-speedster abilities like Captain Cold and Turtle man should be much more common!
Well for speedsters specifically, I'd imagine it's because the Speed Force itself tends to enforce matters like that. Kind've like cosmic delegation, as the force that governs Speedsters, their powers, the the consequences of it. Whereas for someone like John, he wields trickery, deceit, and magic for his own ends. In the context of this the way it's explained, John is the catalyst and the Flash (and the speed force by extension) were merely his tools in the restoration of the universe as it 'should be'. As such the universe itself became rather annoyed at him specifically for masterminding this kind've thing and upsetting the balance. As for superman pre-crisis; I dunno man. It's Superman. I'm pretty sure there's some obscure comic storyline somewhere where Superman just fucking punches the shit out of cosmic concepts and gets away with it so it's the wild west where his writing is concerned. So good n I love Matt Ryan he is John Constantine but in my opinion, some of the heroes should've at the very least lasted longer, while others should've been nearly impossible to kill yet died in just a few hits, some only took one, that was ridiculous. For instance, Shazam should've been practically immortal while Shazam, yet gets his leg ripped off and then blows himself up, Martian Manhunter should not have been able to b brainwashed since he is a telepath, Swamp Thing literally can't die since he's just made of plants, n not to mention the Lantern Corp, whom Darkseid made it seem like his biggest threat, yet he took them n the Guardians of Oa out instantly. N some major heavy hitters that we know r in-universe thanks to previous movies, weren't even in this one, who not only should've been, but could've been instrumental in the war, like Dr Fate, Captain Atom n quite literally ANYONE WHO POSED A REAL TREAT TO DARKSIDE !!

In Marvel you got the stupidest origin stories for magic Characters, like Storm and Wanda being magic because they're mutants, while DC uses mysticism, aesthetics and rules for each magician with various sources of power. I remember reading somewhere in DC that "Magic has rules because it already breaks most of them", while Marvel has a very lose system of rules that ends at the current author's pen.

your missing the whole point of why he was pushed to make flash do this. darkseid had stolen almost half of the earths core which meant that the earth was already dying even though they won the war. which meant everyone on the planet was going to die anyways so they're only hope was go use flash to change time. even with so many dead they wouldn't have resorted to changing time if that was the only reasons.

Anyone else frustrated that the video said ending explained but he didn't explain anything. He gave bits and pieces of the story and when he got to the part that needed explaining like what happened to Constantine he took a wild guess and then quickly proceeded to end the video lol what click bait 8 mins of life I can never have back
Here's a short list of characters that could save the DCU:
1. Vandal Savage - Because he's a sympathetic bad guy with a purpose
2. Constantine - Because he's funny and interesting
3. Icon - Because this better than a black superman
4. The Question with Green Arrow, Black Canary and Huntress - yes like in the animated series
The ending was Constantine being sent into CW universe, that's why he was horrified by it.

In the end he didn’t do it to be selfish and reluctant and as grumpy as he was doing it he did it in hopes of saving everyone giving them another chance because he cared about everyone and if it weren’t for him the team wouldn’t have gotten as far as he did , he redeemed himself trying to save everyone and he loved zatana who he deserved to spend his time with. It’s crazy how he died and was with her he was happy with her there at peace but she sent him back to life so he can save everyone and then he ended up in a nightmare for it
Damn every time I look at a DC Comics or animation thing its DCeased, DC vs Vampires, Dark Apocalypse, Flashpoint, Under the Red Hood, now this. Why does DC love torturing their heroes so much??

I missed Marvel animated content. Wolverine vs hulk and wolverine vs Thor was good. The animated series became meh after earth mightiesr heroes cancel and Spiderman rebooted to a flat lame version. Marvel only care for cinematic these days.

Since people seemed to have missed the interp, basically the intent is this:
-by killing darkseid, a fixed point in the universe, she shattered reality, causing the many earths to form, that would then get subsumed until all was gone.
-he sees this nature of the universe, and the reason he begs to die, is because hes being sent into it to live through it all.
The price is not revenge, it is not harm. It is john Constantine knowing exactly what is happenening to the universe from the dawn of time, and having to live as a pariah until he can repair it.

This doesn't make any sense to me. If Barry is prohibited to change the timeline, then it should be also Reverse Flash too. He did it more than twice tho. But then The Universe and Spectre says Nah?? even without Constantine's spell.
To be fair it was Reverse Flash first, then Barry stopped Thawne to stop Flashpoint which made a whole other timeline. Then John read Barry's mind. He tried to bring Zatanna back and save everyone. This isn't John's fault. Barry did this.

It was actually Barry stopping Barry first. Then John made Barry create another Flashpoint. The 'universe' should be punishing Barry who caused both Flashpoint's. Even then it's really unjustified as Darkseid screwed everyone and everything over.
Wait how was this Constantine's fault when it was Barry who created the flashpoint to save his mother and altered the universe. It's also annoying they don't explain what magic Constantine used to alter the past.
He had not used magic, he convinced Flash to do another Flashpoint after the defeat of Darkseid (as the loss and the damage to the planet have been too much and frankly there were no other choice than a fresh start)...basically Flash was the gun but he was the finger that pulled the trigger. Plus Constantine had made angry every great magical power of the entire universe during his career, so while Flash got a semipass by the Speedforce for the first flashpoint as he had put things together...john no as he had done too much in the past
The magic Constantine used was implied to be a spell that would allow Barry to control what the Flashpoint would do.
This literally explained nothing about the ending

Imagine if John Constantine was the sorcerer who fought Scarlet Witch in Dr. Strange 2, interesting Chaos Magic Fight/Battle! The story could have been that in the 2nd Act Dr. Strange enters a dimension that takes him to the DCUE Magic User Universe where he makes a deal with John that if he combats Wanda, he'll combat Felix Faust or Karion (Witch Boy), interesting Plot twist!
Klarion, the witch boy is already more powerful than Wanda since he is one of the Chaos Lords.
Interesting, storyline, bruh, I think it would really work as a movie with Strange crossing over into the DC universe.

Well for speedsters specifically, I'd imagine it's because the Speed Force itself tends to enforce matters like that. Kind've like cosmic delegation, as the force that governs Speedsters, their powers, the the consequences of it.
Whereas for someone like John, he wields trickery, deceit, and magic for his own ends. In the context of this the way it's explained, John is the catalyst and the Flash (and the speed force by extension) were merely his tools in the restoration of the universe as it 'should be'. As such the universe itself became rather annoyed at him specifically for masterminding this kind've thing and upsetting the balance.
As for superman pre-crisis; I dunno man. It's Superman. I'm pretty sure there's some obscure comic storyline somewhere where Superman just fucking punches the shit out of cosmic concepts and gets away with it so it's the wild west where his writing is concerned. XD

Because when you hate yourself, you don't let yourself be happy and will eventually ruin it. As it was meant to give him happiness, but his soul and mind couldn't accept it. So eventually, his happiness would twist into what John believed he deserved.

They definitely took from the one episode with Peter Capaldi when he was trapped in a castle where time Lords were trying to get him to confess his secrets the only difference was John was actually trapped in a good place that wasn't trying to kill him

So good n I love Matt Ryan he is John Constantine but in my opinion, some of the heroes should've at the very least lasted longer, while others should've been nearly impossible to kill yet died in just a few hits, some only took one, that was ridiculous. For instance, Shazam should've been practically immortal while Shazam, yet gets his leg ripped off and then blows himself up, Martian Manhunter should not have been able to b brainwashed since he is a telepath, Swamp Thing literally can't die since he's just made of plants, n not to mention the Lantern Corp, whom Darkseid made it seem like his biggest threat, yet he took them n the Guardians of Oa out instantly. N some major heavy hitters that we know r in-universe thanks to previous movies, weren't even in this one, who not only should've been, but could've been instrumental in the war, like Dr Fate, Captain Atom n quite literally ANYONE WHO POSED A REAL TREAT TO DARKSIDE !!
