An old punk here. I lost three bandmembers and eventually had to give up playing myself, due to health conditions. I guess I do understand the passing of Mikio and the departure of Yui. But (loud) music is still my life.
I got this Babymetal thing through my son. When I heard this song the first time, it send shivers through my spine. Then later on, when I took a dive into the meaning of the song, which I believe is about Mikio and Yui, I almost had to cry. It reawakened so many feelings I had.
This song is so beautiful, it stings. Dreamy and in-your-face at the same time. Hope to find a real live version someday (I mean, with also the backing vocals done live). And hope to see them live one day

To Me this song hits harder knowing that Su feels yui is right there next to her whenever she sings this song.

I'd say that they exchange those backing vocals at the chorus between "make us stargazers" and "little stargazer" at least Live, which in addition to Ohmura using Mikio's guitar in this song should be proof enough that this is tribute to our Little Kami.

Hey, I just found your channel, but I've already watched a few of your videos, and I just want to say thank you for putting them out, especially with subtitles. So, I've honestly only been a fan of Babymetal for a few short days now. I'd actually known about them for a long time, but I didn't end up giving them a try until when they performed Monochrome on The First Take. And, now, I could kick myself for not checking them out much sooner. After watching them on TFT, I immediately went and watched all their music videos. And, let me tell you, while I was on my video-watching spree, between watching the videos and reading the comments on each video, it felt like I was able to learn their whole history in that one night. I learned about everything that they've been through, like the death of Mikio and the departure of Yui. So, I already loved their music, but another reason I've become a huge fan of them is because of their resolve. Because, even after all they've been through, they still keep coming back, stronger and better every time. At least, that's how it seems to me. So, I decided then and there that night that, from then on, I would support Babymetal in any way that I could until I die. So far, I've bought all their music both digitally and physically, and I definitely plan to see them live whenever I'm able. I truly wish for nothing more than the continued success and happiness of Su, Moa, and everyone else involved with the band. They deserve it. Long live Babymetal! 🤘🦊🤘
That's awesome. I got into them in 2019. I also knew about them a long time ago. Probably around 2013 was the first time I heard of them I just never gave them a chance. So yeah just like you when I did I found out how awesome they are. Anyway you'll want to check out this channels videos of 2017 concerts. It has a lot of performances that you can't find anywhere else on You tube. It's an important time because it's just before Yui left.

My story is similar, I'm 3 months into being totally absorbed by them. I've never known anything like what they do. Perhaps I'm too old for a live show although I'd love to. I'm London based and need to find a trusted source for their CDs. I want them all of course. I'm on my own these days but watching Babymetal is so uplifting, also emotional. I love the whole experience ❤
And it's nice to feel part of something so strong, has really made a difference to someone on his own. Hard to explain 😊
