    Thanks for all u do. Now these are my Questions
    1.Is it Okay To Leave all Volumes at 0.00db even before Recording then Commence Gain Staging only if they are Clipping? 1.b Do i need to Alter the the Waves Gain if i want to get more Volume or Reduce from an already Recorded Channel Track by Highlighting & Dragging up or Down or Just go to the Daws Input Gain Knob and Alter. Which do u Advice.
    2. Recording on an already Mastered Beat i.e A Cover, is it Compulsory to Gain Stage your Vocals too...Even if they are not Clipping?Just to Satisfy the "Not Exceeding the -6.db Output Threshold.
    3. Is it Compulsory to use the V.U Meter...? Can one use the DAW Fader Meter to attain Same Results. Knowing that it just Shouldn't Clip.
    I Hope my Questions would be Understood and Replied. Many Thanks.

      Gain staging is not a must especially if the levels are ok.

    • @hollywoodaccess
      @hollywoodaccess  3 года назад +1

      A Vu meter can be used when you want correct readings especially if you are preparing your song for streaming and radio purpose but it is not a must. Yes you can use your Daw's meter

      I recommend you don't raise the wave to increase the volume even though you can only a lightly but, use maximizer, normalizer, rvox, a compressor or the mixer volume if you want to get some volume. Have a happy recording. Thanks.
