The people could have waited a minute for the stage to get set up so that all the body could pray together. Verse 19 specifically said preaching the word to none but unto the Jews Only. Because THEY are the only ones who were cut off and given the law. Gentiles (other nations) had the dispersed amongst them. They were Israelites by blood but gentiles by actions. Christ himself sent he was sent to the LOST SHEEP of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL. Matthew 15:24
