Great video Matt. I completely agree that efficiency is key in the hobby. I know I'm not always going to have enough time so my goal is to eliminate as much tedium as possible so that my maintenance never slips. Water changes are the key. Yes you can be successful without them but at the expense of time managing your water. If you can change 20% of your water every week with almost no effort, you will be successful.
Thank you! Yeah I always try to set my “future self” up for success by doing small steps daily. That way it isn’t a huge task come “game day” to get something done. I fully believe water changes are a key factor in my success as well. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I have four reefs, and four planted tanks. I’m able to do it because I work from home, and have an anxiety disorder that pretty much keeps me in the house.
I think aquariums are awesome stress and anxiety relievers, and I appreciate you sharing your journey with me! I wish you an awesome stress free day bro!
Still somehow make time everyday 2 times a day for my baby clownfish tanks. Ontop of the other 10 tanks. Idk how i even do it. I feel like im on autopilot now.
Thank you! My tridents are on one apex. I currently control and monitor three tanks on it. It’s just a matter of adding on more modules and/or eb832’s as necessary per tank to add onto the one Apex. Then add the tiles in Fusion to the dashboard.
Yes, trying to balance it all with a family and work is very challenging! 😅 My advice to you is to enjoy being younger, and don’t let the world tell you who you are supposed to be. Reefing is a universal bridge for all ages, ethnicities, and genders that unites us all. I’m very happy to share it with you (when I have the time! Lol!) Happy Easter, and Happy Reefing Bud! 😁
I'm looking forward to that review of the monitor.
that’s right matt. people tend to forget fish/ reef tanks are pets. take care of it like you take care of your dogs, reptiles etc.
So true Matt 🤙🏽 Yeeewwww
Ive been doing 5 days 12hr shifts the best part of my day is my tanks
Same here! 😁

I think I might’ve broken the record for how many times someone says “Uh” in a video! 😂
Sorry about that! Lol!

Hey love your videos, are your tridents connected to the same apex or do you have multiples, I am trying to get another trident for another tank..
