Thank you for watching our Card Room antics. We play the table top games in card rooms like Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, WIld Card Stud, Face Up Pai Gow poker, I love Suits and Ultimate Texas Hold'em.
To answer the questions that we get about “What casino are you at?” or “Who is playing to the right side of you?”. In Florida, there are card rooms where the players are playing against a “banker” instead of the house. The bankers are employees of a separate company and not employed by the house. The dealers are employees of the house and only provide a service of dealing. The “banker” collects losses and pays winnings to the players. When we tip, we are tipping the dealer for their services, at no point do any tips or anything of value go to the banker. If you have any other questions about Card Rooms and the laws in Florida about them, please visit the link below.

16:11 the straight-ranking issue. Not sure if you batch record, but next Pai Gow session, maybe confirm with the dealers or pit boss the ranking of straights. In Vegas, you would’ve won this hand since AKQJT is strongest, then A2345 second strongest, KQJT9 is third strongest.
I clarified yesterday, 2nd highest straight is K high. A-5 is lowest there
@@ReelDeckGaming Florida rules it is then, thanks!
@@PaiGowPokerJournal Yeah lol I have also heard a few places in Vegas follow it also. So its kinda hit or mis from what I understand
How you push with a straight. A2345 is the second highest straight in that game
That is what I thought but that card room may have different rules.
Not everywhere. And the 3 places I play its the lowest.
I confirmed yesterday and today at another room
I hadn't hit quads in nearly a year, pretty much banned the game. I went to vegas last week for a convention. first night, 15 mins after sitting down at harrah's...QUADS. 125 on fortune and 375 on the progressive. same casino, table, and spot as my last quads last year. Then i went to Let it Ride and hit a Full house - 330 for the hand and 250 on the progressive. UNBELIEVABLE. Played on the house the rest of the trip and still took home 300 in profit.
Id love to try Let it Ride
Woof
Woof
seems the rules are different..any ace straight is stronger or so i thought???
Not all places. Just some.
How did you lose on a A-5 straight against 8-Q? Isn’t A-5 second highest ? That should have been a winning hand.
Not here. A-5 is not second highest.
Yeah the casino I worked at A-5 was not second best depends on what casino
what is a DP?
In Florida card rooms, you are not playing against the house. An outside company is there and “banks” the game the employee of the banking company is the DP or designated player. The dealers work for the card room and only provide a service. It’s how it’s legal in Florida. So in videos you’ll see cards and chips come from either the left or right side (depending on which card room) instead of the dealers well. If you look in the description of the videos I also have links to the Florida statutes where all that takes place. Thanks for watching!
If you have a losing hand just through it in i know you do it to show
Yeah, some people want to see it and some don't. Its impossible to make everyone happy. Plus, recordings are uploaded through October so there will be some changes as we go forward. Thanks for your continued support.
@@ReelDeckGaming just speeds play along
@@mr3002u agreed. Again thank you for your continued support !
@ReelDeckGaming ps we see the cards when you set them in your hand anyway
@mr3002u I am well aware of what people can see. Some people like the drama of opening slow. You may not realize this but as a creator it is 1000% impossible to make everyone happy so it has to be changed up sometimes and other times we just go with what the majority likes.
