That didnt matter any of the other nights. Destroid burnt down a fuckin volcano at like 1am the following night. Its lost lands, theres no excuse for those shinnanagans
I don't think Skrillex is bad, it is just I don't like people associate him with dubstep instead of like Skream, Benga, Coki, Mala, Kromestar, or even Datsik, Downlink, Excision, xKore, Barron, Getter, DJahsta etc etc
+Ryan Bergen I saw him at Electric Forest and am gonna see him in a week at Bass Center and again a few days after at Moonrise. Gonna be way too lit man
Excision is literally just like me. I love heavy metal riffs, death metal, hardcore, you name it. But I've always appreciated hip-hop and good rap, the combination of my love for those genres have made me love dubstep.
I would love to be able to join his studio for at least a day and just try to learn as much as possible from this legend...he seems like such a chill dude!!!
I have to say, that I think its so dope these guys all live in Kelowna. Just fuckin chillin, partying and producing some of the hugest songs in this genre. My fellow Canadians yo. Huge huge ups to Excision and Datsik, and 12th planet, and the crew behind these well produced interviews.
First artist I was showed by my friend randomly at 2:30 in the morning he actually woke me up to show me and I gotta say I was not made after hearing shambala 2009 now it is just out control in the best way :) (Horns)
And that's why I finally found out why downlink datsik and excision always make dubstep remixes and dubstep songs together ALMIGHY "SWAGGA" By Datsik and excision =D
Excision is the motha fuckin man, His views on dupstep is my views exactly. Im a huge metal fan but always like electronic / techno. Dupstep is the perfect blend
@thoze2guyz i don't know about you, but i will still listen to real dubstep in 5 years, just like i still listen to reggae. metal, rock and hiphop. those things never disapeard out of my favourites. i hope the people who listen to it just because its underground will move on to somethings else, so that we, the real dubstep lovers, will live on in peace!
@ELDM01 most proper "dub heads" enjoy a metal and hip hop back ground i do im only 17 and have liked dub for 4 years and before that hip hop & metal hes explained it perfectly for every one!
2010 - 12th Planet is interviewing Excison
2017 - 12th Planet is playing a set on Excision's own festival
John Sellery lost lands did 12th planet so fucking dirty. The volume knob was at a 5 for his entire set compared to the rest of the festival..
Thomas Jordan true but it was 2am lmao
That didnt matter any of the other nights. Destroid burnt down a fuckin volcano at like 1am the following night. Its lost lands, theres no excuse for those shinnanagans

Timmy Gloves Jeff has a hat now.
Don’t forget about Nero
Yea back then, but after Codename X he started playing around with dinosaurs
And Dr.dre of Dubstep
He’s also like the Metallica of dubstep
legit the only interview i've seen of this man
the way he explains about metal and hip hop in the beginning is EXACTLY the way I got into loving dubstep
keep in mind, this is before scary monsters and nice sprites came out...
deadethic A better era for the proper dubstep and the background track proves it
The days before brostep
Ahhhh yes
I don't think Skrillex is bad, it is just I don't like people associate him with dubstep instead of like Skream, Benga, Coki, Mala, Kromestar, or even Datsik, Downlink, Excision, xKore, Barron, Getter, DJahsta etc etc
Jeffs a super mellow dude in general. Wouldent expect it with how hard he goes
huckmonkey2 nah he's mellow during his sets
He sounds pretty soft spoken and mellow or chill or laid back or maybe even all of the above to me, too.

Its amazing seeing what excision has accomplished. Hes just getting started, this scene is insane. Trailblazer
Back then this guy had no idea that he would have his own festival as well as a pretty heavy catalog of music
@@benjaminromanello3157 Not to mention, a whole CLOTHING LINE and a HUGE, INFLUENTIAL brand haha! :)
