The Renaissance flute sound in this put it over the top for me. I bought a cd of Renaissance music from the Renaissance Fair when I was 13, and I have been hooked on that sound ever since. This was so freaking good with the picalo.....I think that instrument is,I love this. Not to mention, both vocalists are really talented and melodic. 10 out of 10!!
They are so good at creating that magical fairytale-vibe. Was thinking it would be great to have them play at "medeltidsveckan". It's a yearly event on the Swedish island of Gotland wich is basically a celebration of all things medieval with lots of music, workshops, markets, people dressing up in medieval clothing etc. Haven't been there but i'd probably love it.
Actually, it's not. It's a german band that mostly sings in german, so it's pronounced the german way. A is pronounced like uh and u is pronounced like ooh. Tommy pronounced it quite close to right.
FAUN is so underrated and deserves much more reviews!
They are amazing for sure
That was a lovely song.
This beautiful song brought me back to magical place and time. They are masters of crafting stunning medieval-themed music.
Such an amazing song
This was THE first group of this "genre" that I discovered on youtube. I really need to see them in concert. So far i've seen Wardruna and Heilung.
I love Faun. Their music is always so magical.
Indeed! I'm just a sucker for medieval music.
I've listened to everything of there's I can find and I don't think they have done a bad song.
It's because Faun are one of the best bands in the whole world .

I have to come to Sweden!!!
The first german version is a little bit better.
Faun is pronounced like the English word fawn, i.e. a young deer.

@@DanTheSqueegeeMan I have had several years of German and I disagree.
@@jamesnelson1968 I am german
i don't know what it is, but it doesn't kick in for me. unlike valravn, for example.
