  • Crochet the Baby Tiles for Miles Baby Blanket using Caron Baby Cakes Yarn or equivalent yarns. This is an easy to follow the pattern, in fact, I have put a tutorial out there for you to use if you need extra help.
    The tiles are made up of 4 trebles grouped together. There is a half double crochet/chain row that separates the tile look. With Cakes, this concept would turn out pretty awesome generally.

    I like the pattern a lot, but I would make it with thinner yarn but the same size of 40 inch square. It would give it a more dainty look. The explaination was very good.

    I have finished making this for my niece, she is having a girl so I was able to find the princess cakes yarn but had to find it on eBay! I can't find a place to buy it otherwise. Michael's doesn't seem to Cary it around me. Would love to share a pic of it but don't know where it can be posted.

  • @rachelbias28
    @rachelbias28 7 лет назад

    Hi. I did the pattern exactly as stated but mines 45in instead of 40in. Looks huge for a baby blanket 😂. Idk why it's 5in bigger than the pattern states. I'm using the exact same yarn and hook size. 🤔

    • @nancydionne9638
      @nancydionne9638 6 лет назад

      Razzle Berry the same happened to me so I only used a chain of 125 instead of the 133 and it came out to 37" before the edging.

  • @melodymaben5365
    @melodymaben5365 2 года назад

    How can ya have 148 SC at the end of row 1 when you only chain 133 ?

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  2 года назад

      I'm unsure how you ended up with 148 sc. Pattern states the following: Ch 133. (See diagram on page 2).
      1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 132 sc.
      You should have 132.

    • @melodymaben5365
      @melodymaben5365 2 года назад

      Not me the pattern says 144 at end of row 1
      Haven't started mine yet

  • @melodymaben5365
    @melodymaben5365 2 года назад

    Why ya edges not lined up ?

  • @crystaljoe3996

    I like this pattern but treble Crochet eat up yarn. Can you do double crochet instead. Another thing this blanket wouldn't be good for a baby because of the gaps.?.?

  • @melodymaben5365
    @melodymaben5365 2 года назад

    First row says 148 stitches at the end in the pattern
