So many people say this is a difficult wear... I could not disagree more. It’s luxury in a bottle. Evening, date night, autumn/winter this one kills it. I sometimes wear it to the shops when I’m feeling extra boujee. It’s class. You smell like a put together man when you wear this. Fully worth the price, fully worth the effort it takes to find it.
I’m going to be wearing this so much in the cooler weather 👍🏻 if you like it rock it 👌🏻
When I first smelled my bottle, I seriously looked at my collection and thought.. why do I even own anything else?? I pretty much agree with your assessment. DHP was everything I hoped it would be. And more. I get this amazing burnt sandalwood smell that I’ve never experienced in any other fragrance I’ve owned. It’s stellar.
I’ve never read a comment about dhp that’s so accurate to my experience. Might be a little late to the party. I got my bottle only last week. But boy was I pleased. From scent to performance everything was great. I feel like a stud wearing this, right? Why buy another fragrance ever again?

Top 3 in my collection for sure, back in 2018 my bro found the 75ml older batch when he was in Europe at a Duty Free and gifted me a bottle for my Birthday/Christmas gift.
You have the same uncontainable joy that I had the first time I got my bottle. Here in the States and got lucky to get my hands on one. A true masterpiece. Nothing else in the world smells like DHP. Cheers!

Well done Mikey. I assumed you already had this gem. Being that you have every Iris fragrance in the world. I got mine about 2 months ago direct from Dior. Was out of stock forever. This is my favourite designer no question. Every time I wear it I pick up different notes. The Smokey rose, leather and Iris is smooth as silk. Do me a favour make sure you use it. Don’t be too frightened to use it like your Dior Homme Intense we had a laugh about back along. When I first got my nose on this I thought I bet Mikey loves this. 😂

Nice mate, i can’t believe how rare this stuff got, i used to pick up the vintage 75ml bottles on ebay years ago for like £60 each, i got through 6 or 7 bottles but still prefer DHI personally, the vintage 75ml DHP is pretty identical to the new 100ml bottled formulation as i have both 👌

It's literally the same formula the formula codes are on the bottom of the boxes..They haven't changed since 2016..
I have a couple of little 2ml samples of this and it is very nice tbf. Sometimes when I wear Intense I'll do a spray or two of Parfum from the samples just to give it a bit of oomph.

I've got the 2016 batch of this perfume and it's an absolute beast. Few sprays max, more than that it will blow your senses out and give you a headache.
I prefer DHI personally, but agree the projection ain't the best on it. However Dior Homme 2020, is the best when it comes to compliments.

I blind bought it 2023 november, after that i bought 5 more 100ml bottles and 1 half full 75ml bottle. This is amazing fragrance and for me best of the best, sold 1 100ml becouse that batch didint performed on me and dididnt liked as much as other batch, maybe there is slight batch variation or that batch wasnt matured enough becouse i sprayed just 1 spray of that bottle which i dididnt liked, but other new batches are amazing and the same as my 9C01 batch just a bit less potent due to not matured for that much years but now performance is better and better even beast mode.

Probably one of the best, the Parfum, but for me, the Intense version, has a beautiful place in my heart ❤

This fragrance is truly magical. I wore it to work today and devastated some people. Came home and took a bath/shower and put it back on again and went out tonight with my wife and devastated some more people never mistake this fragrance as a lightweight. This is truly a heavy hitter.

If i had a bottle of DHI (2011) several years ago and want to get just one frag, which do you suggest between DHP and DHI? I love the iris note and have an open mind to majority of notes.
I personally would got with Dior homme intense reason being is the iris in that goes nice and lipsticky on my skins 🔥🔥👌🏻

This fragrance is stunningly good...until I get to the extended dry down. A musky powdery scent..or something mimicking it (no matter how light the spray) doesn't sit well with...my stomach! Oddly enough, I don't have the same reaction with the Intense. I have the same physical reaction from many of the offerings from two other brands (although their dry down isn't powdery): Guerlain and Zaharoff...and I love their scents!
I love this more than DHI but i wear dhi more. Its just not a everyday scent. as you say weddings and a lux date thing. This a 10/10 fragrance dhi is a 9.5/10 and the original is a 8/10 it just dont last. But then again it not a heavy scent..

Hello mate, is the leather in DHP too prominent or animalic? Does it dominate other notes? I'm not a leather fan and that's the only thing holding me back from getting this.
The leather is present but not animalic but if you don’t like leather I would stay clear because you can still pick it up but it’s more powdery on me then leathery

How is the performance. I heard its weaker now and projection ?
I tried few batches of 2023 and performance is amazing. I have 2019 9C01 batch of old design bottle, it might be a slight better performance but its matured much longer. So just grab 100ml and dont worry

@@mikeycologneyes. 1-2 hours, then it turns into a skin scent… on my skin.
If you are outdoors, and the weather is warmer, it can push longer.
@@mikeycologneCologne doesn't last too long mate, I get a few hours on skin maybe 4-5 tops depending on the day, lasts a bit longer on clothes though but obviously not strong. It doesn't really matter to me much though because the scent itself is just amazing, one of the best freshies out there.
