Great video, and good information. I ended up purchasing an e-scooter just this week. What I chose was a more off-road friendly scooter (Yume Hawk). It is not light, but it still folds down and fits in the back of our truck pretty easily. There are quite a few makers out there that make scooters with more suspension to them...probably in the $800-$1200 range. Good luck!
When I bought one of the first Lectric brand e-bikes 5 years ago, it eventually dawned on me that I spent $900 for a bike so heavy (65 lbs) that it HAS to have a motor ! But that being said, the bike is a ton (no pun intended) of fun ! It has a cool “walk mode” that allows you to take the bike up or down steps (or other rough terrain).
If the scooter's battery is fully depleted, can you use foot power easily wit the wheels turning as freely as a non-powered scooter, or are the wheels restrained?
Yes, you can. However, I think if you were going uphill it would certainly be a challenge. We didn’t think it had any resistance when turned off though. We haven’t ran out of battery yet to know exactly,
Just found your channel. Thanks for the comparison 👍 I am also a RUclipsr and love to explore and looking for something to help me get a little more range for making videos. Subbed and liked, thanks for the info.

That is great info, thanks for sharing! We have used this one to scout boondocking spots but it’s not really made for off road. lol rough ride.
Interesting comparison- I fall in the E bike category but to each his own. Well done.
Ikr- we didn’t expect to like it but it’s really nice to have around.
You can switch in the settings so you don’t have to push to get going.
Good to know. I think we’re used to it now. lol

Thank you for the review. I think because of my age I would go with the bike but wish I was younger the scooter looked fun
I hear ya. They are quite fun though
