- Join my sister, Becca, and me as we explore northern Yellowstone National Park in the winter! If you know me, you know that I love national parks, especially Yellowstone. But this is the first time that I've been here in the winter and it is a completely different world! The landscape is covered by an endless sea of snow. The air is thin and cold, except around the warm, bubbling hot springs. Most of the park is closed off to cars and can only be accessed via a snowmobile or snowcoach.
We drove around the car-accessible section of the park to visit Mammoth Hot Springs, Lamar Valley, and (not part of the park) Cooke City. We were dazzled by the steaming hot springs, captivated by the frosty scenery, and charmed by the cozy town of Cooke City.
It was a wonderful experience that I would definitely do again!
Keep it up dude!
