Good morning, I enjoyed your beautiful video about the trip to Finland. I'm going to Äkäslompolo in a week for 8 days and hopefully there will be nice snow on the trees so that you can make beautiful compositions with photography. But I see that you have also made beautiful drone images. I also take my DJI Mini 4 Pro with me. May I ask how the drone holds up in the cold? and you have had no problems with rules. I mean you can just capture the beautiful nature from the air? thanks for the beautiful images and report. kind regards from the Netherlands
Thank you so much for watching, I’m pleased you enjoyed it! The drone I used was the Mavic Mini 3 and it worked well in the cold. The battery time was slightly reduced but I always made sure that the batteries were warm before take off. For example, I’d put 1 battery in each pocket, and hold onto it to keep it warm before flying. You will have a lovely time in Akaslompolo, it is a beautiful place. Have a great trip! Elvis would be proud to have some Afrcan American ancestry. He had no prejudices and did not see colour and often said its what's in someones heart thet counts. Elvis changed his looks after his military in service in Germany, I think he coloured his hair black and got a sun tan (even using tablets to tan) so he wouldn't be associated with being a white guy. I think he wanted to represent all americans. Just like his music came from a variation of white and black music influences, as well as other influences...and he too wanted to represent this eclectic background that represents the American people. He's "black" friend she talks about was Elvis neighbour Sam Bell, they played together everyday and Sam's grandparents took care of Elvis when his mama was working... Elvis grew up with the poorest of the poor in East Tupely Missisppy and they didn't see colour, just other families and neighbours who also lived in ectreme poverty. They all helped eachother regardless of colour, survival wast guaranteed. Elvis morher nearly died by starvation while growing up. Elvis didnt go to school with his best friend sam and his orher friends as there was still segregation and Elvis went to the school for white people. He lived here until he was 12 yo. When they moved to Memphis. Elvis was a supporter of civil rights and just wanted everyone to get on with eachother. I have been studying his geneology for some time and only Scottish and Irish names comes up. Any pucturrs shwes only white people and it seems he came from a tight-knit community that lived together in the same areas for many generations. They went to church together and intermarried. The genealogy she presents here is not completely correct and does not include the latest research on Elvis ancestry. Look up the book called: Roots of Elvis by Gary Lindberg. To know more about Elvis thoughts and beliefs the new book: The Fairh of Elvis is fantastic. Sadly this channel is a stunning example on race biology becoming populariced again and this young woman is beating the drum hard! Instead of moving away from these old-fashioned racist ways of splitting people into racial groups she is bringing it right back. Next she'll bring back terms like mulattos and quarterloons etc. Oh darn, I'm m giving her ideas! 😐
