I think claiming a dragon is 80% Valerian/ Targaryen blood, 10% beauty and 10% having amazing hair, therefore Corey definitely has a chance to claim one.
I have loved Daenon's arc this season. Idk how people find it boring. He may not be cracking heads, but the character development has been great, Alys and Simon are a delight, and the mystical side of things being more front and center is something I've wanted for a long time. Love that we've had so many Weirwood dreams.
I like it too. A lot of people just expect Daemon to be cutting people in half all the time and that’s a shame. This journey into his mind is fascinating to me.
But every dream sequence is telling the same story. It’s not progressing, just hitting you over the head with the same message over and over and over for 6 episodes
@Megasaurusify If he had one or two visions, and suddenly he was a changed man, it would have felt very rushed. Until the last episode, the visions didn't have a positive impact on him. He was fighting it the whole time. Real character development doesn't just happen. Also, it was either this or him just being absent from season 2. In this part of the book, he's just at Harrenhall trying to build an army. Not really doing anything exciting. This at least made it interesting for me.
This is one of the deepest character growth arcs, I don’t care that daemon isn’t fighting the crab keepers army 1v6873636 He’s getting a lot more depth, in my eyes, this season
Yeah I laughed when the guys got this wrong with Erryk/Arryk earlier in the season. They said they joined the Kingsguard at 10+8 and the guys thought they meant when Erryk and Arryk were 10 and 8 yrs old lol which doesn't even make sense because they're identical twins 😂 plus that's WAY too young to become a knight compared to being 18 yrs old
When I first started watching your channel. I actually thought you two were not only brothers, but also twins! I showed my eldest daughter a video and asked her what she thought She said. "I think they might be brothers, but not twins." Her grandfather had an identical twin brother. She met him once when she was 5. She told his brother "You look like my grandpa, but you're not my grandpa." 😅 Btw her older brother's name is Eric!
There's character development for Daemon but there is also character development for Harrenhal. Harrenhal wasn't really developed well in GOT and it's such central place of lore in the book series. I am loving all the Harrenhal development.
Lmao when the crowd separates Helena and Alicent and they surround Helena, her non chalant “blend into the wall, look like you belong” attitude sent me! 😂😂😂
An earlier moment from a previous episode makes sense. When Addam was in the beach looking through the sand he found a crab then you see Sea Smoke flying overhead. He was looking for his rider but I didn’t piece it together till this morning
In reply to what Adam was attempting to figure out, but not quite getting it correct: By cordex147th- Here is a summary of all the dragons: Vermithor, Silverwing and Seasmoke are the unclaimed dragons at Dragonstone and Seasmoke now has a new rider. Syrax is Rhaenera's Moondancer is Baela's and Vermax is Jaecarys dragon, which are also at Dragonstone. Caraxes is Daemons dragon, both are at Harrenhal. At Kings Landing are Aemonds Vhagar and Helaena's Dreamfyre. Aegons Sunfyre is wounded but recovering at Rooks Rest. In Oldtown, Daeron has the blue dragon Tessarion. Stormcloud and Tyraxes are with Rhaena and the kids at the Eyrie in the Vale There are also 3 wild dragons: Sheepstealer, Grey Ghost and the Cannibal. Both Grey Ghost and the Cannibal are on Dragonstone and Sheepstealer is the big wild dragon that is feeding on sheeps in the Vale. Arrax and Meyles are the dead dragons at this point.
If the man with his sick child is a dragon rider too, then Rhaenyra will have a big problem if he fights at her side. Because as it turns out here, he knocks down another of his kind to get what he wants, for his own benefit. Typical traitor material. If such a person fights at Rhaenyra's side and gets a better offer at some point, he will betray her. I don't think anything in this show happens to be shown the way it's shown. We should see that this man lets others jump over the blade to get what he wants.
@@dominikkasas6751 No, I don't think so. I think it's very simple. He would have had the opportunity to get something for himself, but the first thing he did was to make someone else's plight worse. One who may also have a dying daughter. I don't condemn his act, but it shows that he is absolutely capable of deceiving people. It just has to be in his interest. This was an instinct-driven act. There wasn't much time to think. Such moments show people as they are at their core.
Bruh they are teasing Daeron so hard I can't.. Wouldn't besurprise if they actually show him by the end of episode 8 in an post credit scene together with Tessarion, Otto and Ormund in Oldtown 😬(Yeah i know they didn't even cast the actor for him yet but maybe HBO really fooled us all this time)
cutting her and laena out was the best thing they did, we sapphics deserve better representation than a threesome between an uncle and his victims, besides how sexualize they were too by this fandom
"Ten-and-six" actually means "16" and I understand it's confusing. It's because the show keeps saying it backwards. It's from Middle English sixtene, from Old English sixtyne. In medieval English, they would NOT have said "ten and six" they'd have said "six and ten" (tene, actually). The 10 multipliers (10, 20, 30, 40, etc) would have come AFTER the single digits (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). So the Cargyll twins were sworn as Kingsguards at "eight-and-ten (18). Princess Rhaenys died at "five-and-fifty" (though the book the show is drawn from says "fifty-five, I'd note). And Dareon Targaryen is currently "six-and-ten". Idk why the show insists on saying it backwards, and if it's in the books that way then idk why George made that mistake. Maybe it was a conscious decision to make it the Westerosi way of speaking to make it different from English. Basically, whenever someone uses that kind of phrasing, just substitute the word "PLUS" in place of "and." Ten plus six...sixteen.
Not a fan of the dragon claiming the rider but I'll see where they're going with it. The acting was really good. That guy who got toasted was nervous to begin with and outright petrified when Seasmoke looked at him. Adam was terrified at the beginning and calmed down as Seasmoke approached him. Very well acted and it makes for a huge difference. Also, it's kinda make sense since he is somewhat related to his former rider. I really don't know how they will explain it though. Corlys is not a dragonrider but his wife was so their children's have Targaryen blood which would explain it. Who was Adam's mother I wonder? I really like Matt Smith in this role, he is soo good as Daemon, pretty much just flexing at this point. I don't mind the somewhat slower episodes, I really enjoy the politics and characters, could really watch 20 episodes long seasons of this thing. It was really nice to see Viserys again. The CGI of the dragons are glorious. The way they move, the animation is so seamless, those 3 lines of spikes running from the back of their heads down their necks move independently from each other but synced along the lines and also in sync with the shoulders and head movements. Really amazing stuff. The production quality of this show ( visuals, music, costumes, sets ) is extraordinary. I would really love to see the scene when Rhynera pulls up to Adam and goes : "Oi, who the F are you kid?" :D

I’m super curious how it will be explained that Addam can be a dragonrider without Targaryen blood (as far as I’m aware) since this goes against all the lore provided. Anyone have any theories?
It might be that the blood just has to be Valyrian, not specifically Targaryen. He definitely has Velaryon blood. It just so happened that the dragons brought to Westeros were all controlled by Targaryens, thus controlling the supply.
1) They are 1/2 Velaryon 1/2 unknown origin, so ... who knows ? 🤷♀️ : their mother Matilda of Hull could have Targaryen blood. 2) Velaryon men are known, most of their wifes are not... : Targaryen wifes ? Probably, 'cause these two families very often married together to keep valyrian blood. 3) Velaryon being Valyrians, may be it makes them dragon riders ? Dragon riders who never tried to ride a dragon, 'cause their family belongs by tradition, culture (even death rituals⚰️🌅), titles and habilities to the sea.🌊⛵
I am now getting bored with the show sadly, something isn't working. They keep having scenes of the same thing over and over. Rhenera complaining. Alicent looking twacked out. Damon tripping balls. There's no actual progression of anything. The show should have maybe been 2 seasons
