We clean our floors every other week and that’s because we pay our daughter to clean the house every other week. Before we used to vacuum every week and mop around 4 times year.

It's so cute seeing Sutton vacuum with mum. I vacuum twice a week and wash floors once a week. If I see stains, any other timeI'll wipe them up. ❤
Yes I usually spot clean any stains!
I like videos with little random task or home maintenance items in it. Reminds me to do some of the small non weekly cleaning more often.

I used to put the toys back together as well, I found they played with them more that way.

My husband use to wrestle the slipcovers back on our cushions. 😅 If you have a large leaf plastic bag cut the side open and over lap it over the cushion and grab you vacuum and suction the cushion while holding the plastic over it. You can then shove it into your cover a little easier. And then just stop the suction and pull the bag out. I find it works best with filmier plastic bags. 😉

I try once a week to clean my floors but the reality is probably every two weeks for the deep clean. I clean them in the rooms that get the worst like high traffic kitchen,entry, and bathrooms every few days because I have a dog and ceramic floors and I have ocd too. I keep a clean house and everyone has moved out and so I clean up after every meal and before bed so it doesn’t take me long. I would say 15 minutes. When the kids lived at home I was lucky to get anything done before the would mess it up. Just enjoy the children and know it doesn’t last. He is so so cute. Have a bless day.

I washed the cover of my chair cushion which is a T shape. I could not get the T to lay flat after putting it back on. They curl up. LOL. I want to declutter my grandkids toys and books. Great video. Sutton is so cute 'helping' you clean up.

I'd love to do my floors weekly, but reality is once a month for me too. I also use the same steam mop anytime I mop!

I would say if you're using the vac mop a couple times a week then a deep clean once a month is prob what I would do too! I try to do mine once a week but I'm just vacuuming during the week so... also if under your cushions looks like that after a month I'd say you're doing pretty good! And I'd peob only vacuum them once a month too lol. Now under the actual couch, yes there was alot more but it was mostly toys so....not that bad in my opinion as well lol.
I don't have removable cushions but I also do not allow eating in any room other than the kitchen or dining room. So I don't have the issue of things falling through like snacks and stuff like that. His toys definitely fall through sometimes ended up either on the ground or in that little pouch in the back that you open up the velcro thing and I'll find his Hot Wheels there lol
I wish I could say I don’t allow it, I try my best to keep them from doing it but sometimes I let my guard down about it 😅

Get a table cloth for your dinning table.
Place over dinning table that will solve the issue dust in between the gap.
My kids and cats would unfortunately take turns ripping it off 😂
Declumy house while I listen to you, I’m moving from a three bedroom home to a motor home so lots need to go. I have sentimental things I can’t take with me and family don’t want at this stage so the historical society is going to look after them and put them on display so win win.
That’s so hard. You will get there!! Don’t get rid of anything you’re not ready to yet. Progress not perfection!

I need those pointers. There is always stuff finding a home under my couch.
I guess they sell guards on Amazon! Other people said to cut up a pool noodle and put it along the edges

Vacuuming my couch MAY happen every 3 months - LOL
When my son was young I used to fill the kitchen sink with some water and let him take a few of his figurines and he’d stand on a chair and play at the sink for the longest time. He’d make a little water mess but I didn’t care because I could get stuff done. He was like Sutton, he had to be attached to me all the time.
Yes he def makes a mess but it’s worth it for the few minutes of distraction 😅 I can’t wait for it to be warm enough that he can play on the deck with his water table!

Have you done a dedicated review of the Tineco wet-dry vac? Does it get stinky really quickly? I was going to buy one last Black Friday but then I heard someone said you have to clean it out thoroughly after each use or it will smell, and I was intimidated 😢
Yes, it stinks. I like it but it does require a lot of maintenance. If you don’t clean it thoroughly each time it will get moldy/mildewy and then it’s veerrry hard to get that smell out

Oh my ! Well i definetly mop my floors weekly . Except when i dont ! Haha once a month is about what i average and my kids are grown so i certainly have more time than you do . Looks to me like you are doing a great job .

You are over a big hurdle with Sutton. Just get him potty trained, and you can enjoy the best years of your life. I get so sad when moms get overwhelmed and resentful. You would never. I know. But I have never stopped missing those years. I do have enormous fun with my grandkids.
We had a super hard time with him so I am sooo happy we’ve finally started to see a major improvement! I feel like it happened overnight too
it really bugs me that my fiancé doesn't clean the toys the proper way. 😵💫
i can't even let him clean them anymore. i've tried to explain several times that the pieces go to certain pieces and it seems like he just doesn't care.
I am convinced their brains aren’t wired at all the same way haha
Don’t discount the Tenco! That’s still an amazing cleaner, so don’t feel guilty about the floors

By ordering from Amazon you have so much packaging! Going to the dollar store for a box of trash bags would save the environmental impact....
We have to use the brand specific trash bags because they are the only ones that fit our trash can perfectly. Otherwise I’d grab them from target or Walmart. In my experience dollar store bags are awful quality and just rip
The point is the excessive packaging with online buying, transport for delivery, large distribution centers etc etc....
