I’ve never tried the similar Neutrogena product but I really like this. I am in my second jar and have used it morning and night for several months. I use it after cleansing and before my moisturizer as more of a treatment step than as my primary moisturizer. I’m 48 and my skin has started feeling and looking dehydrated since my hormones started changing. When I use this before my moisturizer I don’t have to use as much of the moisturizer because it spreads easier. When I touch my face even a couple hours later it feels kinda moisturizer and dewy. Not oily or shiny just a little damp like it has helped to lock in the moisture. I’m looking to add back some plumpness to my face and this helps. My feedback may not be relevant to younger women but I’m wishing I’d started taking better care of my skin earlier. For context, I’m using Obagi NuDerm Gentle Cleanser and Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturizer which are not cheap so I really appreciate this cheap middle step that seems to elevate even my Obagi results. Hope this helps someone!
I would also compare to Langeige water bank cream, but that stuff costs $40!!! I like so far, I think for the under $4 price you can always layer it with other products. I use it with ELF hydrating serum as the base.

When should I put it on? At night? Before moisturizer and makeup?
You can put it on either morning or night. I like using it at night personally.

I believe it says to only use once a day, so every 24 hrs, so I use it in the morning before the Lacura Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream. I use the Lacura night cream before going to bed.

Thanks for your review! I used to get several Lacura items at Aldi but couldn't find them lately until today. I was excited to find this. I'll be trying it as soon as I empty the Neutrogena I'm presently using. I love Aldi!
