@@invaderzam Sounds like a genuinely good person who has a lot of anger and a lot of strength, but actively seeks to at least openly avoid confrontation for the sake of those he cares for. Not someone who is against fighting, someone will try to forgo it, but will absolutely not hesitate once that adherence to decorum is gone. Simultaneously a wonderful friend and ally, but absolutely terrifying enemy. Mostly because fools will misinterpret avoidance of violence as pacifism and will try to take advantage...only to be swiftly and brutally corrected.
god i wish i was that good at that, it would be such a helpful skill to scare people, mostly because i’m small so trying to act tough gets me nowhere because people legit just go “awww, your so adorable when your mad” but nobody can tell when something legit bugs me because they assume i’m well in their own words more like a mouse, small, fragile and friendly for the most part.

It´s the best to see him stand up for the group seemingly aware of the danger but also just reacting in the moment and not taking their shit

Cad would probably be the only one of the Nein who could put their weapon into the Nonagon's heart without regret. If this character literally ends up getting to lay the finishing blow on their last character as a grave cleric I mean that's just fantastic. Also #calebdiessoon
Three things to keep in mind: There's a trope called "Beware the Nice Ones". It exists for a reason. As a Grave Domain Cleric Caduceus is probably well positioned to make sure that Lucien _stays_ dead this time. Taliesin is the man who created No Mercy Percy. Lucien probably doesn.t want to be the target of a Mad Cad
I may be misremembering but a grave domain cleric is specialized in stopping undead. I'm pretty sure that Lucien's thing is more resurrection than undead so it would he out of his wheelhouse. [Edit] the other two pints are dead on though.
@@Blasted2Oblivion Grave Domain also get their Channel Divinity, which just makes an attack ignore resistance or immunity (can't remember if immunity is included in there) worst case scenario and be case scenario make them vulnerable to an attack's instance of damage. If you want someone dead in one or two good shots, you call a Grave Cleric.
This scene is my favorite so far in C2. The thought of Cadeceus standing before an "Evil Molly" is amazing and could have never anticipated something like that happening
I don't consider Lucien to be evil. He's definitely morally grey but he seems more determined than evil. As far as I know he hasn't done anything antagonistic aside from surrounding the dome, unless you count killing Ves Darogna (I think that's the Assembly member M9 were "protecting") but M9 were planning on possibly taking her out anyway

They had definitely evil goals which you've pointed out Lucien also has, but they also had malicious methods which as far as I know Lucien doesn't. I mean he could quite easily have popped Caleb's Dome and attacked M9 while most of them slept, instead he chose to wait for the group to wake up and even chatted amicably with Cad and Beu for a while before getting impatient
It was. He says that Lucien's past self occupies the thoughts of his friends, but not him. Cad essentially said "I never knew you so I won't hesitate to put you back in the ground"
That episode I was so anxious, just waiting for Lucien and his gang to enter right after the fight with the construct, or as they were leaving, forcing them into a tight spot after they used a lot of stuff
