Asus x670e-e doesn't post when I change the ram speed. And can only have the ram in the last two slots. Bios is up to date

Have an Asus X670E Crosshair Hero and have had an issue running four modules (4x16) at 6000MT/s. When I first installed them, they ran fine for several days and then Windows started crashing with miscellaneous BSODs. I thought it was software initially, but then removed two modules of RAM and reinstalled Windows, also updated the BIOS to 0922. So far it’s been stable but I haven’t tried all four modules again. I never received any Q-CODE errors on boot. It would pause on 15, sometimes twice, but would boot and show the speed at 6000. Windows just wasn’t working though, it was crashing.

      Hi Dennis,
What RAM modules are you running? It would be worth going in to bios and removing any xmp profiles or OC's and putting in the four DIMMS to see if it boots.
Due to these boards being so new the list of supported ram modules is still fairly small but slowly growing.

So right off the back just update the BIOS to the latest version and call it a day and everything is good to go 👍🏾

@@defaultsplace1348 I found a fix for mine, putting a single DIMM into slot 2 worked for me, try 1 RAM stick in DIMM 1/2/3/4 and see if you get any results, once it works, you can chuck in your other one

@@defaultsplace1348 Check your manual, C5 means there is something wrong with your RAM. You need to look at the recommended RAM slots, that fixed it for me and also do a CMOS reset.
