This is so awesome. Thank u for posting this, it’s really helped me decide on whether or not I wanna get it.
This sounds sarcastic I swear it’s not
@@houstonhicks6227 ironically, your reply made it sarcastic 😆.. if you bought one, hope you find it enjoyable 😊
i contemplated getting this one but i went with a kyocera samurai x3.0 from japan instead. absolutely insane half frame camera and i love it so much. i haven't been as excited since i got my z6. that was 5 cameras ago
I just ordered mineeeeeee. 💕
Thanks for sharing. Just got my kodak camera as well! I’m so excited to use it! I’ll probably get Fuji film next time lol.
love it. thanks. 🔥🔥🔥
Did you edit these photos prior to uploading them on RUclips? Also, were they all taken with fujifilm c200? Because I’ve noticed that photos taken indoors like at 2:10 seems highly exposed.
2:15, And how did you manage to take these photos without flash? They all looked so nice!!
I really like your photos! So ISO 200 is enough for cloudy days or inside with the flashlight on?
Hi, do you i think i should use flash with night photography with many LED lights/ night lights?? Im not quite sure if i should turn the flash on.
Hello! I just got this camera today and I'm really excited to use it. Just curious, since this is a half film camera, do I have to advance the film after each shot or after 2 shots since it's half+half. Also, what happens if I forget to advance the film? Will the camera not allow me to take a photo or will I waste that particular film? Hoping to hear from you soon and thank you in advance :)
WOWW nice pictures, i also have a 35 mm kamera but i dont know what should i photograph. :(
Hi! Thank you for the video! I’m also a new subscriber. Yay! Just want to know… How does the viewfinder look like? Since it’s a half frame, shots are in portrait mode, is the viewfinder also only in half frame or full frame? 😅
awe thank you for subscribing. The view finder looks narrow and is half frame!
I love ur photossss❤ btw how did u get ur results? I think we have to go somewhere to get our photos
What specific film roll brand would you recommend? I tried 2 rolls of Lucky Color 100 Super and all photos came out ruined.
I like it
highly recommend it
How do you transfer your photos to digital?
hello ! do you need to take pictures everyday? or you can just take pics whenever you want? thank you !
I looked all over for a good video the moment I saw young Asian and the little lofi piano. I clicked immediately
Hi only dark place u use flash light?
Hello, please tell me, I inserted the film, everything was according to the instructions, I started snapping the first frames, but I noticed that the rotation knob does not turn when rewinding the film. The counter works, everything is as it should be, but this handle confuses
hi, did you edit the photos before uploading it on yt?
Wow. May I know how you get photos data in to your pc?
Hey does this camera save the photo to our mobilem
What film scanner do you use btw?
hi just want to ask, what orientation is the viewfinder? is it also on portrait? thanks in advance for answering 😊
since this is a half frame camera, when you're holding the camera in a traditional landscape orientation you'll actually be taking a portrait. so conversely, when you're holding it as if you are going to take a portrait, you'll actually be taking a landscape photo. hope that helps.
Where do you get your film developed? Do they charge double for half-frame?
normally they would not charge you double as it is still just one roll of film. The place I go to is somewhere in NZ so I dont think ill be helpful 😅
ハーフフィルムカメラの場合って例えば36枚フィルムカメラの2倍の現像料金がかかるんですか?
Can you transfer the pictures in a pen drive or memory card??
how do you get the photos? I'm know nothing about these things
How do you transfer your photos to digital? 😢😂 I know it sounds a little weird but I really want to know since I will start taking pics with this model 😊
You have to bring your film roll to a lab and get it developed and scanned. They will send you all the photos then.
how do you get all transfer all the pictures to ur pc?
Hiii what film did you use? Really like the color
fuji film c200
Film camera cute 🥰
Hi. I'm new in film photography. I am just curious on how two photos work in 1 frame. Do you need to wind it until it stops after the 1st shot to move to the second shot? or after taking the first shot i can still take another shot?
Wind it after your first shot to takw the 2nd one.
so i don't know if you're familiar with how regular 35 mm film works but there's usually a little window that shows you what frame you're on. You'll twist the knob or spool that rolls the film into the next available frame and it'll be numbered so you'll be on frame 1, snap a photo, then turn it until you see that it says frame 2 which you'll usually here a click sound as well so that you know it's in place to take your next photo. For this camera, the only difference is that they put a border between each regular 35 mm frame and the knob used to roll to the next picture doesn't need to be turned as much in order to get to the next number. you definitely cannot take another photo on top of a photo you just took, that's called double exposure and i'm pretty sure most cameras have a mechanism that stops that from happening.
@@wasntmetimo Wind it until it stops?
@@TheLavenderPanda Hi! Thanks for this. Yeah I am familiar on how regular 35mm film works, I am just kind of confuse on how this camera works since you can take 2 shot in one frame.
If you refer to how this (Ektar H35) works, it's called "half frame camera" and has a slightly different mechanism from the usual full frame camera that makes it only needs 1 exposure to take 2 frames of photo, side by side.
If you refer to multiple exposure photo (2 or more frames overlaying each other), some cameras have a mechanism triggered by a button that prevents the film to roll after you wind it, so you can have those frames inside 1 exposure.
Hey! Deciding if I wanna get this camera or not…. Are the photos the right frame to fit on Instagram? if you crop the photo and a half does it fit?
yes it will fit! Just like regular photos you post on instagram
When and where you should turn the flash on?
whenever your not in direct sunlight i recommend turning on the flash even if it seems bright enough
Hi, I live in Auckland. Where did you get your camera from and where did you get it developed? Thanks!
I got my camera online and the film developed from the film lab on k road
Hello. Just want to ask, how did you transfer the photos to your phone? Thanks.
When you finished shooting your whole roll of film you're supposed to develop the film in a professional studio, then you either scan the developed film yourself at home or you let the people at the studio do that. When your pictures are scanned, people at the studio can just send them to you by email or give you a flash drive with your pictures on it. My english is not perfect but hopefully I was able to explain :)
I'm quite confused. What does half frame means? Is it like you take 2 shots before switching to the next film count? Or just capture as is and it will count as half and other half
It just means that the camera is made so that you can get double the photos from a single film roll. So if i bought a 24 exposure film roll i will be able to get 48 photos out of it. You just use it like a normal film camera though.
@@musesdiary thank youuuu
Where did you buy it?
How could you take those photos into file and upload them?
Does the filter that we capture depends on what film that we use?
filter? if you mean the outcome of the photo then yes the film will have a huge role in it
This is probably a stupid question but how do you digitize these photos 😅
What film are you using
What if we re going to upload the photos separately on instagram, can we choose one instead of two developed film, im still learning about film camera.thank you
i think it depends on where you get your film developed but you can always crop the image so you post photos separately
@@musesdiary Does the quality of the photo when cropped is still sharp since its a bit smaller and in half frame?
@@zzane78 no the quality would decrease since youre getting two photos in one exposure. however because the photos are small you would not really notice the difference
i’ve watching Film camera videos for 3 days now, i don’t understand what’s half frame camera?
and how to make the photos digital? is there chemicals included and all that old stuff?
half frame means that you essentially get two shots from 1. Meaning that you get double the amount of photos. I got my film developed by other people and they scan my photos and send them to me via email.
hope that helps
hi siss ~ i wanna know at night the photo from ektar h35 are still good?
Only if you use the flash
Hi sis! Beautiful photos there! What film did you use?
Fujifilm c200
@@musesdiary thank you!
Do you get film prints and a digital copy?
i get a digital copy
when you buy, does it come with a battery?
no it doesnt:)
Heyy where can I buy one?? Only found some on Amazon but not sure if that's the place
that would depend on what country you live in
Hi great video! Bought this camera myself and was just wondering if you can get single 4x6 photos out of it? I understand its 35mm in twoi halves but when it comes to printing them, other than the quality of the picture, am I affected in any way?
Can you take landscape photos? I have been seeing only portrait formats.
@@sinnermeister You can take landscape by orienting your camera sideways!
@@internalsanity ty got it with me now I figured how to do landscape
Where did you got your ektar h35?
i just got mine off the internet
How do u take that perfect selfie? Huhu
i just took it and hoped for the best
How do you develop the photos?
