I know there is going to be a lot of comments saying “ran out of talent” etc... I’ve been on this track tonnes of times now. Was trying a new set up with basically slicks on a wet track. But yes this was my driving error. At least I’m not sat here hiding it. WE LIVE, WE LEARN AND WE CRACK ON WITH IT. You see crashes all the time even with professionals so don’t all start becoming keyboard warriors. TA
Slicks in wet amature mistake for start.. but you admitted error fair play to you.. chin up get her patched up & fixed up & get kicking them laps in again 👌👍
Fair play to you sharing this with us all on here, respect. At least you were having a good go. If we didn't make mistakes we wouldn't learn. Soon be back on track.
Lap timers! Bin the fckin thing, more trouble than it’s worth chasing times... that being said, Avon rise into quarry is world famous for the shifting of the cars weight and sending you into the barrier... hope the rebuild goes well 🤙🏻👍🏻
I crashed at Combe many years ago now. It’s good to get the first crash out the way. It will take you some time to get your confidence back and just to take it easy less aggressive on track. I have done many Trackdays since with no incidents. Chin up chap and carry on 👍
Shit happens mate! It happens to almost everyone at some point... It's the risk we take when we do these things. Could've been a hell of alot worse and you're not hurt! Keep your chin up, get it fixed and get back to it 💪🏻🏁
Stay positive dude! Can be fixed. Not as bad as It looks I'd guess. Looks like you were picking up water on wetter lines then had a little weight transfer forward mid corner ... Easy mistake to happen. It's a learning curve ... Get it back together and come back and SMASH it! 💪
@@SOCIALLYDRIVEN but if it was worse would you have to ? Im going to Silverstone gp next month so just wanted to know if you hit the track do you have to pay. Not that i wang to hit the track 😂
it will be fixed.chin up.i nearly lost my pride and joy st200 on a roundabout yesterday!tyres are now replaced lol my fault haha.the angry wasp will be up and back on track in no time :)
Learning curve - not sure whether to like this video purely from the perspective of not loving the crash 😞 However it’s only metal and a few bolt on parts! It could have been a LOT worse... thankfully it wasn’t! Just a side note: Did you forget to insert the full send clips? You have to have some driving talent in the first place to run out... So you are safe on those comments 🤪🤣 Had to lighten the mood 💙
Gutted to see this bud. The last few action days I've seen u out there on fire. Avon rose catches plenty of people out tbh. Head up bud, happens to the best of us 👌🏼
My brother what you should do is buy a cheap track car and use it for practice runs , then have your nice looking Clio for actual events or shows That way you can beat up the cheap track car and not have a problem and still have the nice Clio for events
ahh Avon rise killed ya, always gotta be careful over there car goes light and with too much brakes the car loose its rear end especially in the wet. Im sure you'll get it fixed and come back stronger!!
I have been a spectator at Castle Combe for a good 15 or do years. I have seen many amateurs and many professionals come off on that corner. These things happen, and particularly racing drivers, will always tell you you’re not a true racing driver until you’ve had your first accident. As everyone has said cars can be fixed,so as long as you’re okay, that’s all that matters. Plus in hindsight it makes for good content for RUclips too 🙈😂
Looked like you where been a bit cocky around there wanting to get past everyone without thinking about conditions / talent. Its all learning and things can be repaired! Why is it always clios😀
What a shame the Clio was looking sweat!that’s motor sport though, always trick when trying new set ups you don’t know the limits till you reach it, nothing else to do but dust your self down and get back on the track I’m sure BD will make sure of that 👍🏼, 🤞🏻 crossed it not to expensive I know the revo knuckles are a bit 💷💷💷, chin up bud!
Missed downshift so no ability to pull the car straight from oversteer....but you know that (almost a reminder to self to never overlook the down change ) Otherwise, unlucky - I know how it happens.....and as you say it’s a learning curve. As for the car it could have been a lot worse, it’s still ‘light damage’ so should be back in no time at fairly minimal cost🤞🏻 Keep up the vids 👍🏼

The car can be fixed, and your OK.. That's the main thing.... Every days a school day... Ignore RUclips experts...
It’s a track car not a show car who cares about a few scratches and bumps and hits that’s all part of the game
Driving with your phone in your hand, tut tut lol
Fair play to you sharing this with us all on here, respect. At least you were having a good go. If we didn't make mistakes we wouldn't learn. Soon be back on track.
100% couldn’t be anymore accurate that man
Everything can be fixed. Keep your chin up.
Big send bro least you came out safe and sound 🙏 ❤
Yeah man I’m lucky I was absolutely fine!!
I enjoyed watching that. What's the engine? It seems to go pretty well. What went wrong to cause that crash?

Is there no track day etiquette on overtaking at Castle Combe?
Nope? Obviously not allowed to overtake on the left side
‘I can’t believe it, that’s actually happened’ haha some boy
Fair enough mate, it's all part of it. Lucky you are safe, going on track, especially Coombe with now harnesses or HANS. Good vid tho bro

It always happens mate to the best of us bro so all good can’t wait to see it all fixed and seeing you getting back out there
Did you have to pay any money to the track because of the crash ?
Always wondered that with track days
Luckily I didn’t no!
@@SOCIALLYDRIVEN but if it was worse would you have to ?
Im going to Silverstone gp next month so just wanted to know if you hit the track do you have to pay.
Not that i wang to hit the track 😂
You will bounce back, head up luke it happens to best of drivers dont knock it fella, dust your shoulders off and go again, good luck bro

The corner that bites, shame but cheers for sharing and good luck with the rebuild - could've been much worse dude!
Gutted for you, get a few fixing vids out and we can all be back on track soon 😃
It’ll be getting fixed at BD Perfomance mate
Shit happens mate, it's all experience. You didn't get hurt and you didn't crash on a public road so happy days. 👍👍
mate you have to have a bump every now and then, all part of racing! get the car sorted come back and keep sending it :D
Exactly man! We live, we learn and WE GO AGAIN 😎
Never mind the car, the main thing is you are fine just shaken up!
Gutted to see this bud. The last few action days I've seen u out there on fire. Avon rose catches plenty of people out tbh. Head up bud, happens to the best of us 👌🏼

That corner always gets someone!
At least your okay bud car can be fixed ❤️
ahh Avon rise killed ya, always gotta be careful over there car goes light and with too much brakes the car loose its rear end especially in the wet. Im sure you'll get it fixed and come back stronger!!
Gutted for you,Looking forward to seeing the re-built car on the track again.
Doesn’t look to bad mate, shit happens and it’s all learning at least your ok!
Yeah you’ve driven on the wet part of the track a couple of points prior to this - tyres weren’t ready.

Easy to do over Avon’s Rise leading into Quarry! Notoriously tricky corner!
Good luck with the rebuild
Yeah man so I’ve heard! I never usually take that line so far to the left!
Its crazy how quickly it goes wrong!
How many track days had you actually done?
About 9 now pal
P45 for Mr B 😂😂😂

Pleased to see you’re still in one piece!
Feels bad for you I am waiting for the video to start
It literally sounds like it had a k20

Avon rise can be lethal ! My photo of my black B5 RS4 was from Castle Combe.
this clio sounds good 💥
She sounds a hunny
It can all be fixed, hope your good man
You should get an intake through the headlight
Stacked it 😂FWD curse, fair enough mate
Knew it was gonna be a quarry crash before I even watched the video!
Technically it wasn’t on the quarry corner!
Ohhhh that’s shit, just wrapped aswell😢 At least your not hurt so that’s a massive plus, could have been much much worse
Good content if anything, walked away from it so all good, machines can be fixed 👌🏼
Unfortunately part of learning fella. Just rebuild and go again 👍🏻
Only a car pal. Main thing is your ok. You were sending it tho!!!!!
Yeah mate I’m absolutely fine thank god!
Mate least your still good feel for you with the car tho man but you learn from your mistakes good luck when your back out on track
You will get better with more laps. But learn to concentrate on your entry and getting a clean exit.
Atleast the wrap is undamaged!
Shit, I know it’s not the same but I just got my car Impounded for no insurance a couple of days ago, lol shit happens bro.

As long as you ok at least you popped your crash cherry 🍒 the only was is up 👍🏻
I was in the blue clio that went past and waved . What a shitter , only a piece of metal mind
Pretty sure you shouldnt be timing laps on a trackday?
You're right, lap timing is banned from pretty much all track days
Maybe time for some more mods and cars
Happens to the best of them
