Back to Laguna Seca! I've found myself mostly getting the laps done on my own and then watching your guide to confirm brake points and gear choices to polish it up. Getting closer and much more consistent. Love the videos!
yesterday i was able to do a 32.0 with an optimal of 31.7. Its interesting how we had the same references but you were more efficient throughout the lap. I'm excited to try out these philosophies out on track!
Ah, so you will be doing the rookies series for this car? I bet it will be a blast. I will focus on the D series with open setup for the Formula Ford and on the Vee for the rookies. Ought to be a very fun season.
I do it manually, but there is a auto blip in the settings if you want to go that way, I dont know how well it does the blip, I just started to do it my self, and just kept it that way :)
Thanks for the guide, as always. IMO, the Ray is so much harder to drive than the Vee... but I haven't given up on it yet. What is the best way to go off the line in this car? It appears that full throttle in neutral on red then go to 1st on green and remain on full throttle... but I seem to lose a spot every time in AI races and I haven't found a better way go.
Primary clutch around 50%, secondary clutch to get to 100%. Full throttle, dump the secondary on green, blend/drag the primary to keep the revs up. You can fully clutch dump with no wheel spin but the revs bog way down and it is slow.
Ive spent about an hour total driving and i got to a 1:34.1, im pretty happy with that, i just need a little more exparence bc this car is a bit of a handful

Oh thank you, I was hoping you would do this
Nice! I was hoping you’d cover this car. Thanks
Great guide. Personally when you do the lap in real time at the end - I'd prefer the onboard cam :)
I can try it for the next one :)
man its insane that i feel like i do everything you do to a T and still only get 32.1
Thanks Mathias!!!!
Thanks for this
10/10
Thank you!

Im doing the rookies one :D I have tried this car on other tracks where the setup will be open and it is going to be great fun this car :D
@@Erilla01 It is SO MUCH fun to race this car. I am loving it.
When you downshift I noticed that the throttle spikes is there a setting that makes the car do this because when I brake there is no throttle jabbing

@@Erilla01 ok thanks I’ll try that

I have not really tried to start it in a race, but I tried a few standing with red line and dumping the clutch, but no idea how good it is :P

The car can take awhile to learn, for sure
@@Erilla01 yep and with a few more laps, I got it down to a 1:33.4
Will you be racing this and the Vee next season Matthias?
Im planning on racing both as much as I can yeah, but I will focus on this one :)
What Brake Bias are you using? ☺️
Im using 58% that is standart one for the fixed set :)
@@Erilla01 thank you for getting back to me!!
