I have a HUGE tip for GW active users. By default, Bixby is always listening for you to voice activate by saying "hi bixby". I personally do use Bixby sometimes but I would rather hit the home button twice. So you can turn off voice activation to save battery. Open Bixby and there's 3 dots on the right to open the Bixby setting. The first option should be voice activation. Disable that.
@konami 008 Bixby is quite useless for smart tasks like those haha. it can do simple things like set reminders and alarms and check the weather and send text messages and start workouts. I will say that for those simple tasks, it works reasonably well and you can speak somewhat naturally. I do use speech recognition to reply to texts very very often on my watch as I get a LOT of them all day. Hope this helps!
@@rushierivan3902 Its not a huge difference but Ive noticed it lasts 2-3 hours longer with that option turned off. Battery life hovers in the 33-36 hr range so its hard to tell but I will say that now, when Im awake and not active, the battery seems to drain slower per hour.
Do you know how to install applications while not having the galaxi store not being a samsung phone? I need help because it will arrive tomorrow and I don't know what to expect.
Hi, im from indonesia. I find that your videos are awesome Quick question, which one has the longest battery life between active and galaxy watch 42mm since you have them both
I would say about the same... Roughly 2 days... But the active has been my go to watch since it came out.. might finally do a full review since I've been using it for almost 2 months.. 😅😂 shoutouts to everyone in Indonesia!! 👋
Select Samsung Health on your watch. Scroll down to heart rate and open it. Scroll all the way down and select the gear icon for settings. You have the options: Always, Frequent (every 10 minutes) and Never. Note that no matter which option you select, your heart rate sensor will be turned ON the entire time when you start any of the exercise modes. For me, I just select Never since I only care for my heart rate when I exercise.
Not really. Rather than getting about 36 hrs of battery life, you'll get about 28. Different watch faces drain differently. For my test, I used a very simple watch face thats mostly black (low battery consumption). Other watch faces might drain faster (less black means faster battery drain).
I turn all setting up. There's no point of doing all this to save battery. What's the point of spending $200 and not be able to enjoy it.

Nice tip. I'm never a fan of bixby xD. How does it impact the battery when it is off tho? :)
Thx! This is actually useful, not like tips in this video...

Use dark watch faces also saves battery life
All you need to know about galaxy watch active: while you watching this video battery drain goes from 96 to 91 % :)
Maybe, but this video is also edited.

Can you charge the regular Galaxy Watch (46mm or 42mm) with a Galaxy Watch Active charger?
No
How do you change the HR setting to monitor every 10mins, instead of constant?
Select Samsung Health on your watch.
Scroll down to heart rate and open it.
Scroll all the way down and select the gear icon for settings.

What's your watch face called mate?
Hi man it’s called (large) it’s an official Samsung watch face it should be preloaded into your watch it you can find it in the wearable app
Does enabling the 'always on display' will result in screen burn?
Clock faces
Ultimate advice, for top battery time leave the watch turned off or better yet don't buy it
First, again. :)
Does always on display drains battery a lot?
It does but it looks like a real watch when always on displays is on rather than a black face
