Jesus loves you all so much He died on the cross for you in your place! Since we deserve eternal death because we are human and we sin, we automatically fall short of God’s glory. God understood this, and became human in the form of Jesus. Jesus taught us not to hate, but to love everyone. He is God, and washed the feet of others to teach us to care for one another. Not to judge.
So, what is sin? Sin is going against God’s will. After we sin once, we should be dead and separated from God. BUT. JESUS DIED FOR US ON THE CROSS. He picked up His cross and carried it and only thought of you. He felt pain, loneliness, sadness, anxiety, happiness, love, joy, and temptation. God became human and experienced everything humans experience. He understands you.
Think you’re too unclean or sinful for Him? Think about this: do you go to a bath already clean? No, you go to a bath to get clean. When you sin, go to God first. He is bigger than any of our sins combined. He made the universe and heaven! He cares for you.
Things get tough and sometimes you may question if God is even there. But He is. Think of this: when you first ride your bike without training wheels, you will fall and scrape your knees. It’s not easy, but you learn, and become better and better as you practice! God puts us through lessons! He is there every step of the way, so we don’t need to be afraid of anything! He builds us. Once you give your surrender to Him, let Him guide you.
How can you surrender to God? Tell God right now “God, I believe what Jesus did for me. I want to start new with You. I accept You into my life. Forgive me Lord, You are my salvation.” (It doesn’t need to be word for word, just be genuine, and He can help you with being genuine as well). Sometimes, you won’t know what to do or say. And that’s okay, you’re not perfect. But God is!! Trust in His forgiveness. You are made right with God through faith in Him and what He can do. A lot can happen in a week. Jesus has been through it. One day, everyone was shouting “Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (John 12:13) A few days later, those same people praising Him were yelling “Crucify Him!” But, He rose from the dead! He conquered death, and now sits at the right Hand of God the Father Almighty. You are made new in the Holy Spirit Who is also the same One God, in Spirit form. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One God combined. They are all equally God. The Holy Spirit will remind you of God’s word. God’s voice is often thought of as loud, scary, or thunderous. No, God’s voice is quiet, gentle, and knows exactly what to say in your mind. He can also speak through other people and things, but it must relate back to His word . If it doesn’t, it’s not from God. If it rushes you, makes you anxious, or pressures you, it’s not God, it’s the enemy trying to impersonate God. But don’t worry! God is with you on your side ready to be your shield always. He is power is bigger than anything, and any evil. You can read God’s word on Bible.com! His presence is lovely, and relaxing. He wants a relationship with you now!
“Now this is eternal life: that they know You the true God and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” (John 17:3). It’s not about if you’re just a good person. It’s about knowing God and having faith in Him. When you have faith in God, He will guide your works to glorify Him and to help you to become the best version of you. Start new with God today. You’re ready to. Spread this message! ❤
