Hey man, I borrowed your idea and replaced the letters on the front. Like you said ITS NOT A JEEP ITS A COMMANDER! Thank you I really learn a lot from your videos as I’m trying to get used to this vehicle. I do like it although I’ve banged my forehead twice both my elbows and my chin. I tripped into today at lowes. I’ve never stepped down intandsuv. The others I had the floor was even with the bottom of the door. Sometimes I can’t reach the door to close it from the inside if it’s completely open. I never knew I was clumsy until I got into this vehicle. The other day a customer stopped by and her husband is a Porsche race car driver and also rebuilds vintage Porsche . She was in his cayenne . I sat in the drivers seat and I’m like this is what it’s all about lol that seat literally hugged my back it fit right along my Latts. All controls were within reach and identifiable at a glance. Ha I’m still struggling to get the key in the ignition especially if it’s dark outside I don’t see any lights at all except the light above my door and I’m carefully not to press it too hard . I think I broke it the first day I got it lol. I’m thankful to have wheels again. God bless everybody 👊🏻

Bought & gave it a shot. Used spray glue, but it was a bit cold, so stuck on messed up. Removed and did it inside, where it's warmer. Just pulled it tight & stapled it. Used double-sided tape on that curve. Overall came out like yours. Thanks!
My man ✊🏽… looks great… and if you ever find a 2009-2010 commander with three two tones seats your already ahead of the game… I would have to swap out the seats… that would look sick ….
Yeah, all of our leather interiors will breakdown over time. The previous owner had a bolster replaced on the driver's seat and it's a perfect match so my seats are in really good condition. Clean you seats with Woolite cut 8 to 1 and then go over the seats with something like Griots Garage 3 in 1 leather cleaner. That will keep them looking as good as they can.
Dude it looks stock and clean, great score for 35$ but I honestly thought that you were gonna pull out the needle and thread at first like you did with the xb steering wheel!
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers Passenger seat being lower than drivers used to be a common comment on Cmdr forum. I have an 06 with power seats. The Pass. side does not come with up and down. Maybe yours does?
@@jchristensen6323 I'm not sure since I'm never sitting there. I'll check it out. If I remember correctly I think it only is power forwards and backwards.

Now it is enough to replace the entire interior so that the colors match again and the problem is solved. Look how simple it is. Well done. ❤ 😎👍

So your issue was that it's plastic and rubber but you went with pleather??? I'm leaving mine as is.

Why don't get that part from Grand cherokee wk with leather? It is easy to find in good condition, I buy it for 40$ as new)))

The grand Cherokee is the exact same way. I've owned 5 commanders and about a dozen GC. Anytime I drive more than an hour my elbow is sore as fuck.
