@@ErnestissesErnestoFerreira Hi Ernesto! Sorry I'm not sure. It doesn't specify the type of Bluetooth on the watch, online or in the included paperwork but, I can let you know in my experience it has relaible, stable Bluetooth connection and it quickly pairs and connects to various devices via Bluetooth.
@@AbbyBReviewing thanks! In the end what matter is that it works ;) [as it doesn't have music inside, it doesn't need to be version 5 to connect with different devices ] thank you! I may buy it to use for running on a trackfield and cycling! Do you think this white color may degrade with time?
@@ErnestissesErnestoFerreira I don't think it will degrade overtime (usually only the pattern on the band starts to fade a bit longterm in my experience). Also, I previously had a Garmin Vivoactive 3 in white for over a year and the band/watch colour didn't degrade at all. Of course as it is white you can easily see when its dirty. So I would make sure to clean it regularly or even shower with it on occasionally to clean it, to keep it looking nice 😊
Hi! How's the resolution and display? Is it pixelated? Is it compatible with watch faces in IQ store even it is not indicated in the "compatible devices"? My wife has a garmin venu and I checked conlatibility device in all watch faces and didnt see forerunner 55 on the list. TIA!!
Thank you for the great review! Just getting back into running again and this is the running watch that I decided on, your review has been very helpful!
Hi Fernanda! So far this band has stayed white and no discolouration. And in my experience with previous Garmin watches with white bands even after owning then for years they did not yellow at all.
Hi Marré, that definitely a personal preference thing. Ie. Many may think a watch looks too big while others, find it too small or just right. I don't find it too big on me but if your worried about it being too big I'd suggest looking into slightly smaller Garmin watches like the Forerunner 265S or Venu 2S for example.
Hi Jose! Yes I have, and it's easy to set up custom workouts in the Garmin app. For swimming you can customize your warm up, rest, and swim duration intervals, you can also set specific swim strokes and your cool down time, it works very well 😊
@@AbbyBReviewing Hopefully! Though even the sale prices are normally insane! Our current price for the Vivoactive 4/4S is from $499 . The Fenix 6 is currently at $1149 !!
Hello, not all of them are. This Forerunner is one Garmin's more affordable watches and being so some costs are cut to accommodate the lower price. It is not as durable or scratch resistant as the more expensive Garmin watches for example the Venu, Vivoactive or Fenix series featuring more durable Gorilla Glass or sapphire glass lenses and coatings.
@@AbbyBReviewing am a king of person who relies on my hand gestures while talking. That would be a huge flop for me then 😅 Is there anyway I can protect the screen? A screen guard maybe?
@@suhasinimadhuryachennubhot9342 Yes I'd definitely recommend using a screen protector then to help prevent scratches or scuffs. There are many available on amazon :)
Hello Nhlanhla, I switch my watch faces quite often, and honestly it's been months since I used this one and I can no longer remember the name of it sorry.
Hi, all the colours will get dirty, the white will show it more. But, it's easy to clean (can be rinsed as it's water resistant), And the colour hasn't faded or yellowed overtime.
Thanks for watching my Garmin Forerunner 55 review! And as always comment below if you have any questions :)
Bluetooth 4 or 5?

It’s great to see the white one on you! Do you know if this color gets yellow past the time? I really want to get this color, but I’m afraid to this

@@AbbyBReviewing Would you say it is more of a bright white or like a light gray color which is how it seems on the website?
