thanks for that tips man. I was thinking I'm bad at recruiting being a small school with below 500 hours but you right just have to build my way up and not try to spread myself so thin
Yessir! Appreciate you checking out the video, the small schools are definitely hard. It’s good that they are, but that’s the main issue most people have is trying to target too many recruits at once
Yea I made that same mistake my 1st 2 years but after getting demolished by Georgia in the Natty game, I just went after the best players lol
how does it go for removing actions then added other actions or sways? Would I decrease your influence/rank if you remove 1 to open up more hours to sway?
Awesome video man! I’ve made/joined multiple dynasties and have yet to find any luck with recruiting. Ive been able to keep up the first 5-7 weeks but after that a lot of my prospects will flip and commit elsewhere. Looking forward to applying your information in my upcoming dynasties.

I’m Mid Tennessee State. I go after 4-5 star players that want playing time with proximity to home. I don’t scout them unless it’s a QB or WR. Scout 3 stars looking for gems and towards the end of the season I smash every athlete I can get. I usually in the top 25 in recruiting. The transfer portal is key to providing any depth you need. I feel like this works a lot more in an offline then online dynasty. In a 20 online dynasty with all good players and recruiters some of this would get you cooked, some was good though lol
@@aSTROnomical_8 ive used all this stuff for 8 online seasons with 25+ users and never had below a top 3 class haha. But too be fair I’ve only been on good teams. So I’m sure that helps
Can you do an offline version of this for smaller schools. I’m in my 3rd season with UConn and I’m finally able to go after 5 stars. Doing pretty well, but just can’t to make sure I’m not missing anything.

A lot of these same concepts definitely apply for offline too though, you just gotta be more selective with how many recruits you target and make sure you’re not targeting too many 5 star players
I done won two national championships with Georgia Tech, current one with went undefeated. And I still can’t land a lot of recruits, Top 5 classes or guys in the portal 🤨
@@KillaCam2534 those pipelines are super important to upgrade for the small schools. I wish there was more emphasis on winning national championships for recruiting

What a nothing burger. There is no info in this video in my opinion.
Not trying to be a hater, but recruiting is very easy with tier 1 teams.
It’s actually hard when you have less than 500 hours and you have nobody good that’s in your top 5.
On top of that you have to scout with limited hours and cannot spend 1200 hours scouting gems.

@@RKLIFE17 I’m sorry you feel that way, but if you try recruiting any different way than I said you’re gonna get even less recruits regardless of your school. There is no secret method to pull 5 stars in year 1 with a small school, you gotta work your way up slowly
@ you cannot get a top 5 class every single season with a tier 2 or below school. Depending on your dynasty, you may never get a top 5 class.
@ I feel what you’re saying, but the title and thumbnail are just to get people on the video, no small school is getting a top 5 recruiting class in year 1. But you can still get very good recruitment classes with small schools and I know because I’ve done it, but yes to get start getting top 5’s it’s gonna take a few seasons and it’s definitely going to be harder with a small school like it should be haha. You’re using Ohio state why not try it with a shittier school like Hawaii or utep
@@Yaboybobby253 the same principles apply, it just takes more years to consistently get a top 5 class. Because you just can’t pull in the same amount of recruits as the big schools, no way around it at first

Focus on when recruiting? In your opinion
@ don’t spread yourself too thin, it depends on the school. But if you can only do 50 hours on 8 players, do that! Once you get some commitments from the better players you can start going after the players who aren’t being recruited as much or don’t have scholarships. This has been my strategy in all my online dynasties and offline dynasties, and just try to max out the recruiting coach skills as early as possible
