This was released in europe with the name: 1942 I&II The Arcade Games or something like that. I remember playing this with my very younger albanian friend. I was 12 and he was 8. Those special moves used to blow our minds even though we played it during the mid-00's when the ps3 was already out. Man it was son fun playing the multiplayer. I wish I could relieve those irresponsible times as a child. Just playing co-op games on ps2 in my basement.
I sure am glad one of the mini-bosses was a hip-gyrating anime alien. I don't know if I would have been able to tell this was a product of Japan by any other part of the video.
Fun Fact: In the 2nd run before you face Dorasmascher, don't shoot anything until you reach the first bridge & a tiny cameo of the villains from Gunbird appear on a freight train.
@@KnightTemplarXXII , that is what I thought at first myself, especially after playing the original arcade game trilogy, as well as owning the NTSB-U version of this game, but it also plays surprisingly great. Also, it has an auto fire option for all four Strikers smartphone game ports, so you only have to move the fighter craft and the button commands work quite well. The problem is that I do not think that it will work with smartphone controller adaptors, though, which is a shame, but then again, neither do most smartphone games.
