**Update** Wanted to add an update here. Just the other day I did experience the blue smoke again but only once. Here is my theory. I had washed the car and then started it for 2 min and only drove it 20 feet into the garage and it never warmed up. The next time I started it 3 days later is when the blue smoke occurred. My theory is if you start it for only 2 min, the next time you start it you may get some oil burn off. I’ve since started it after it’s been sitting for 7-8 days and no blue smoke. Just a theory. But all is still good, no blue smoke since. (and even if there is some every so often, it’s all good nothing to worry about)
Truly Appreciate it! 😎 We knocked out a few fun repairs this weekend. Replaced the MAF, removed the instrument gauge cluster to clean the back side of the viewing windows, and put on a new trunk lid Porsche Badge. All will be videos at some point : )
Interesting…I don’t think I knew about the whistle. I’ll have to look that up. When I changed my air filter, there was the tiniest bit of tacky residue on the filter holder in a couple spots and I’ve heard that can also be an early indicator of a failed AOS
@@Boxster986Fan vacuum through the broken diaphragm often makes a whistle. My son said he heard it but was unsure what it was as I just had factory exhaust put back on and it sounded different from the performance exhaust previous owner installed.

👍🏻 Once again, I like your style! So different from every other Porsche how-to on RUclips. I’m looking forward to more from you.
Truly Appreciate it! 😎

Thanks. I am overfilled. Easy fix.
Did this work for you? : )
I have charged AOS but still white smoke exist 😢
😕
It can take a little bit for the smoke to fully clear if this is indeed your issue.
LOL...I just ordered this part.
You ordered an AOS? Assuming your smoke was white then yeah?
@@Boxster986Fan Yeah, and I am hearing impaired enough that I didn't hear the precursor whistle until it was too late.

Ok, that’s good to know!
Wow they really wrecked your car at that shop in AZ 😵💫
They did the hard part and messed up the easy part 🤦🏼
