Agreed. Really like the effort Whimsory puts into her channel. She doesn't flood YT with her videos but she works to make something good and it shows. Good work buddy.
I remember reading years ago that Gazzo was originally going to be a half brother to Rocky in the earlier drafts of the script. A "brother from a different mother" situation. They grew up together becoming rather streetwise with Gazzo hustling for money and Rocky just being intimidated. They had to trim off the backstory since the budget was so tight. I don't know how in depth they wanted to take that backstory but it would have been nice to have since Gazzo is so cool with Rock it is almost familial beyond the whole Italian loyalty. A similar trimming of backstory happened with Paulie being a combat veteran thus explaining why he drinks and is so bitter. They had Burt Young's real life Marine Corps enlistment photo in the living room since he was actually in the Marines and even picked up boxing there.
Gazzo reminds me a lot of the Danny Aiello character in "The Professional." Tony's absolutely a gangster, and definitely a bad guy off-camera, but in the few scenes we get with him we get some subtle cues that he really does have a heart too.
I like to think that Mickey's "cheap second rate loan shark" is an apt description for Gazzo; not in a bad way, but because Gazzo is a bit softhearted. Him having a big heart for Rocky makes me think he cares about other people too much to have a bigger slice of the game. The $500 he gives Rocky is probably more because he likes Rocky and genuinely wants to see Rocky do good.
Whimsory, I’m not sure if anyone here mentioned this but the dogs name wasn’t “butt kiss” but Butkus. He was named for the former Football player Dick Butkus. 😂
Paulie does do one good thing at the end. When Adrian wants to get in the ring to hug Rocky and tell him she loves him Paulie distracts the officials and lifts the ring ropes so she can get through. It’s not much but for Paulie that’s a grand gesture.
paulie has the best charackter arc if you measure it over all rocky movies, up until "Rocky Balboa" just, he is no fun charackter, more of a tragic one....
Paulie is like a lot of guys I've known in Philly, he'll smack you in the back of the head for no reason one day, then turn around and give you the shirt off his back the next day, but you still hang around with him because he doesn't mean anything by it, and if you ever need to bury a body a guy like Paulie isn't the worst person to have around lol
Yeah because it symbolizes he’s ok with Rock’s character being good enough for his sister and that he approves of their relationship which in the 70’s in a house where he’s the only remaining patriarch is a big deal back then
Plus, Paulie is the one who forced Adrian and Rocky to get together. I think it's because deep down he knew that would be the best thing for both of them, and he did care about them.
RIP Burgess Meredith, RIP Carl Weathers, RIP Burt Young, and RIP the Spectrum (and it's upper level obscured view seats you could get for $10 when I was in highschool 😊)
My wife and I watch every one of your videos. We appreciate the effort you put into every release. You are the ONLY reactor we've seen who watches the movies more than once and does extra research, before giving a well thought out and entertaining final opinion. We often learn something new from your outros (like Stallone's accident at birth). All that and you're funny and adorable. Thanks Whimsory!
Everyone is broken, but the spark of Rocky never giving up, his chance becomes everyone’s chance, and even though he loses, everyone wins. I think this movie invented the sports montage. Technically, yes, a sports movie. But really a film about perseverance and heart.
FYI: THE poster on Balboa's wall is of Rocky Marciono. The only undefeated heavyweight fighter. I think he was 49-0. He retired undefeated. Tragically, he was killed in a plane crash! He was from Brockton, Massachusetts.
Please don’t stop. I love how you talk about a movie at the end in a articulate matter, pointing out the things we love about the movie. You’re different and will be successful.
You might have the best outros on RUclips! Taking the time to watch the movies again and give out the awards and give thoughtful points afterwards is impressive and appreciated
I really like the way you take time to do research and rewatch the film before coming back to do an outro on your reaction. It's nice to see Joe Frazier get some respect from someone like you who isn't anywhere near old enough to know about him they way those of us who were around when this movie was made do. My take on Mickey has always been that he wasn't really trying to profit off of Rocky's good fortune, he just wanted to be a part of it. His story is in some ways similar to Rocky's - he's been in boxing his whole life and while he eventually managed to get his own gym he was never part of the high class, big time part of the sport. He really wants to be part of a big fight. And he does care about Rocky - if he didn't, he wouldn't be so disappointed in him for becoming a leg breaker for Gazzo.
Whimsory, your channel stands out over countless others because of your dedication and desire to know more about the films you watch. I'm sure I speak for a lot of subscribers when I say that your outros are just a big a part as your reaction, and greatly appreciated. As to your query when Micky told Rocky that "women weaken legs": It was a common conception that anyone that was involved heavily in sports (especially back then, and perhaps still) needed to refrain from being amorous with their ladies while training because it was thought that "bedroom activities" would literally take a toll on the guy. Stamina-wise, desire-wise. You were supposed to be focused on one thing and one thing only. I can't wait for your continued journey through this series. 😊
It had to do with testosterone levels - which means natural steroids. Nowadays we know that the relation between abstinence and testosterone levels is way more complicated the just "women weaken legs". Namely, long term abstinence isn't good either.
Great reaction, Whimsory. This one was before my time, but it's one of my favs, especially after I learned about some of the backstory behind the making of the movie. The thing to remember about this movie is that it was made on a very low budget and shot in only 28 days of filming. Sylvester Stallone was an unknown, but he wrote the script, and somehow not just convinced a studio to finance it, but he also convinced them to let him play the title role in the movie. Anyway, the end result garnered multiple Oscar nominations and ended up winning the Oscar for Best Picture. Btw, this was also the movie that created the 'Workout montage'-with-the-music in movies. Before this movie, filmmakers didn't see it necessary to show the athletes working out in different inter-cutting scenes, since they thought it would bore the audience...lol. But Stallone changed all of that making sure that there was an inspirational workout montage with short intercutting scenes in the movie, the very first of its kind. Now pretty much every movie in this genre uses a similar workout-with-music-montage.
14:52 "Einstein flunked out of school. Twice. Beethoven was deaf. Helen Keller was blind. I think Rocky's got a good chance." "That's a good point." Yeah. And Adrian's a good woman.
Hi there; I’m new to your channel. I wanted to let you know that I’ve immediately subscribed after watching your unique way of summarizing your videos. I understand you’re going through a Top 250 list (and you’ve already watched many movies which I want to see your reactions for); but I just want to comment that I hope you continue to watch the rest of the movies in the Rocky/Creed franchise. This is a unique franchise where the movies remain good-to-great throughout and doesn’t drop off after the first two or three movies. Another unique aspect of the franchise is that it’s nearly five decades old now; so over the course of watching them, they tell a good story about aging and family. I really think you’ll enjoy it. Take care.
One of my favorite parts of the movie only lasts for a second or two. When Rocky admits to Adrian that he was bothered by the TV insults, for just a moment they show her reaction to him. She gets it, she gets him, she knows how hard it was for him to be that vulnerable. She does it with just a look. Great acting.
burgess meredith was playing old-man characters by the early 1950s, but kept acting until the early 90s. some of his best work is in a couple of the old twilight zone episodes. the actor who played gazzo was also in "taxi driver", which was from the same year as rocky, and was one of the closest races for best picture (taxi driver vs. rocky). im surprised your research and outro didnt mention the chuck wepner connections, the resulting lawsuit, the eventual settlement etc. the 2017 film "chuck" shares the story of the "real rocky balboa". wepner was not an unknown but he was the highest ranked white boxer in the mid 70s, and, as a publicity stunt, muhammed ali gave him a title shot on those grounds. wepner worked as a collector for the mob, knocked ali down once in the fight, and lasted until the 15th round ( but not all the way through the 15th). stallone obviously lifted several ideas from the fight ali vs. wepner (1975), and this was how he wrote the script so quickly. all he wrote was basically "what if wepner was a nice man, and fell in love with a nice girl, his story could be an inspiration". also since you were surprised by the unusual name "butkus", stallone named him after the football player "dick butkus". (which has to be one of the best sports names of all-time.
Just to tag along Burgess Meredith also did Short Films for the US Army for troops being stationed in Britain in World War 2 - how Americans and Brits speak the same language but are pretty different and how to act in public and such like.
Burgess Meredith was hilarious in Grumpy Old Men. And who can forget his amazing performance in the iconic Twilight Zone episode "Time Enough at Last"?
Burt Young, who played the sniveling weaselly Paulie, had actually been a very good professional boxer in real life. It's bizarre to think that if he and Sylvester Stallone actually fought, it would be Stallone who'd have been in serious trouble!
I knew Joe Frazier was an Olympic champion in 1964, the year I was born buy I didn't know he gave the idea of punching sides of beef. Nice work, Whimsory!
Rocky’s character is based largely on Frazier, who was also from Philadelphia, also known for working the body, also known for taking punches in order to get in close range, etc, etc., except rocky is light skinned whereas Frazier wasn’t. But the final fight scenes were inspired when some guy named Chuck Wepner almost made it to the final bell in his match against Muhammad Ali.
@meminustherandomgooglenumbers I doubt this, since other sources claim he was down and out, watched the Ali vs. Wepner fight on TV, got inspired, wrote the script in 3 days, then sold it to a movie studio for $35,000 on the condition that he star in it. Frazier lent a sense of authenticity to the project with his cameo, but I've never heard that he contributed any more than that.
You were more like the suprise at the bottom of the cereal box, ay yo! (Cereal for kids used to have a charm or a toy and stuff like dat back in the day, ay yo!) Wonderful reaction 😃😊
Fun facts: Stallone's brother Frank was the street singer. -Sylvester owns both the dog and the turtles... They're HUGE, the turtles I mean. -Burgess Meredith (Micky) had to be made to look older because this was only 10 years after his run as the Penguin in the TV Batman series and he looked to young. -The bit about Rocky's poster was real. Because it was a 40 foot tall hand painted poster they couldn't change it to fit the continuity so added this scene to explain the error. -The soulful scene with Rocky and Adrian on the bed before the night of the fight had to be done in one take due to lack of film, the wouldn't have been able to do it over. Also... The fight scenes had to be shot in reverse order because the effects people found it easier to remove the makeup than it was to add. So they started with the last round, where Rocky and Apollo are all busted up was the first scene shot and the opening round, where they're all clean and beautiful was the last scene shot.
You are so good at this. Character analysis & introsprective reflection. Please, keep following your process. You are, seriously, the only reaction channel to which I watch the after-reaction or post-viewing thoughts. Keep it up, Whimsory. You're delightful.
This is my very first time watching your reaction, and I just love that you not only talk at length about the character Tony Gazzo, which no other reactor on RUclips has ever done to my knowledge, but you also give Mr Gazzo the respect and the appreciation which that character(and the actor) deserves.
Rocky's dog (butkus) was Stallone's dog in real life. He had to give him away at one point. The first thing he did after selling the script for Rocky was buy him back.
Also, the uploader assumes the dog name was “Butt Kiss.” She should know that Dick Butkus was a famous tough football player from the early 1970’s. I assume Stallone named the dog after Dick Butkus.
Dick Butkus was one of the meanest nastiest destroyers of offense the NFL has ever seen. He played middle linebacker for the Chicago Bears and was feared by offensive players the league over. That's who the bulldog was named for. Glad you enjoyed the movie. As Stallone has always said, this is a romance disguised as a boxing movie. Keep the reactions coming.
You're amazing. Totally amazing. And being honest and vulnerable in your quirks is a game changer. So appealing! Really fun reaction to a very reacted to epic film.
i'm sure people have mentioned this. but if it's good for you to have extra comments on your videos. i'll just mention it again. i like the extra work you put in. watching multiple times, and doing research. seeing how you understand a character after the second watching is a great thing.
Rocky 6 (or better known as Rocky Balboa), is the very best bookend to the story. I watched the first one with my wife when we were married and I cried throughout the Rocky Balboa movie; it moved me so much. She likes the Rocky films as the Love Stories they are.
The posters were actually made wrong and the robe was accidentally made to big in real life. And being they didnt have the budget to have them remade, they worked it into the movie.
This was my first time watching one of your reaction videos. I enjoyed it very much. You certainly put a lot of work into it. Of course you should watch Rocky II. They are all very good. I'm going to watch some more of your reactions
You have the best, well-researched, informative, entertaining outro! We hope you recognize how much we appreciate all that must go into your videos! From start to finish! P.S. You're freakin adorable! And naturally talented! (facial expressions, commentary etc)
Gotta say that the way you educated yourself and watched this film is terrific. That's why i just subscribed to your channel. I can't wait to check out what you do in the future. Keep up the good work!
Her attitude, curiosity and dedication clearely stands out compared to the majority of other reactors, you were right to subscribe ! Check out the previous vids, there's a few gems available already. ie her Pulp Fiction reaction is a must watch !
Whimsory - I thoroughly enjoy your critiques of the films you watch. I also totally get a kick out of hearing you say, "Jerk." lol :) I'm a huge Rambo fan and am glad you are too. If you ever get the chance I recommend that you watch Labyrinth; it stars a young Jennifer Connoly and David Bowie. It was directed by Jim Henson of the Muppets and is a friggin classic. Keep it up, you Rule! - James
the rocky series started the entire montage trope in cinema. not that it was the first to do it, but the first that was so popular that many others soon followed.
❤ your reaction Whimsory, you learning about the production afterwards is much appreciated. This is my favorite film of all time, my second favorite is Rocky 2. I hope you react to it. It’s actually one of the only movies that I cry at the end. Tears of joy.
The very fact that you instantly reacted like, "Training montage!" comes from this movie. This one here, turned the idea into a trope. Cuz it was soooo good.
Yes I was about to write that. This is the "original" training montage. I can't swear it's the first on thr silver screen, but it's by far the most influential - like millions started training because of this and to this music (which is also THE training music).
My favorite reactor doing one of mine favorite movies! I keep saying this but I really admire how much work you do when researching everything about movies after watching them. Sincerely, thank you!
This is probably my favorite reaction to Rocky I've seen. You were great and I love that you give Tony Gazzo his due. A lot of people dismiss him the minute they hear what his "profession" is. And then they attribute sinister motives to all of his actions. Thanks for a great review!
Yea the dog's name is Butkus. Probably named after Legendary NFL Hall of Famer Dick Butrkus. Yes, Dick Butkus, arguably the greatest middle linebacker to ever play in the NFL. He also became an actor after his football career.
Heya Whimsory! Old guy here 👋! We had recently lost in Vietnam and we suffered from the biggest political scandal (Nixon) to that time. So when Rocky came out during the American Bicentennial, it was excellent! A story of building self-esteem, rising above darkness and Rocky Balboa represented it. He did not win the fight, but he got self-respect, respect from others, and most importantly for a movie, he got the girl! The story of America! Self respect and DIY meant a lot more to our country then than now it seems.
Old guy here too. We did Not lose in Vietnam. Most of us fought because we had to. Most of us saw little support on the battlefield or back at home, but we did what we could with what we had and most certainly Did Not Lose.
@@3RayJ3 Sometimes valor and effort from our brave soldiers is not enough to win the day. If you or a relative served, thank you. This movie is a bit like Vietnam. Did Rocky win the Match? NO. Did he give it his all? YES. As a historian when I refer to losing, I simply mean "did the US did achieve its military and/or political objectives" whether the original ones to aid the French in Asia or what it morphed into. In that, I lament for my country, but do not think I am wrong.
@@michaelgonzalez6295 I agree. Our objective was not met, but We, the soldiers did not surrender. We died there, were injured there, were brought home before the job was done. A job arguably we shouldn't of been sent to do in the first place. But I will not ever say we lost, We were just not allowed to win, and then we came home to the crap you are spewing, like we did something wrong. This war and maybe the Korean are the only times we treated our veterans like criminals, and most of us were drafted. Revisionist history is the luxury of the free. Sleep well, I will.
Welcome to the world of Rocky! I really enjoyed your reaction. You are right, there is enough depth to this story to fuel at least one sequel and more!
Again I love your movie review style, rewatches, research then the review, the best reviews ever. Keep them coming I am always waiting on the next one. Thanks
Mickey and Paulie represent Rocky's alternative fates: a guy who gave up his dreams and drifts through life (Paulie), and a guy who dreamed of getting a shot but never got the opportunity (Mickey). When Rocky is first offered the chance to fight Apollo for the title, he initially turns it down, which shows how close he was to becoming one of them.
Unlike a lot of "serieses" Rocky is truly one long story told over the several movies. they really all relate to one another and just continue to tell Rocky's story. Seeing the growth of Rocky/Adrian relationship is worth watching them all
Wow, one of the best reactions. I loved all you after comments and how did that. stayed and listened to all of it. You are going to be huge in this. You really got this movie. If you haven't already, can't wait for you to do Goodfellas and Pulp Fiction
Hi, Rocky has this particularity in each episode of raising the emotional bar ever higher. This Saga is timeless and a model of life , because we have, we are, and/or we will experience in our lives what the character of Rocky experienced in these films. Thank you for sharing and bringing back to life these pure moments of emotion 👍. I wish you to continue the "Rocky adventure", without forgetting "Creed 1 and 2" which magnificently closes the life of this legend that Rocky has become. Thanks 💐👍
Que c'est agréable quelqu'un qui regarde plusieurs fois et passe de la réaction à l'analyse. Il y a peu de gens qui le font, et c'est bien dommage. Merci Whimsory ! 😉
You are a pleasure listening to! I love your format that you have created. Excellent job at the end of your reaction in terms of breaking down certain scenes and characters to understand what's really going on. I've watched a lot of reactors and no one does it as well as you do. You've done your research, which is so essential, especially on the actors and the production of the movie. Certainly watch all of the Rocky sequels, best movie series ever. I would highly suggest reacting to Rain Man, Scarface, Goodfellas, The Godfather, and Born on the Fourth of July with Tom Cruise. All academy award winners. Can't wait for your next one. Keep up the great work!!!
I think people are really starting to notice how different Whimsory is from other reactors. She really is special. One-of-a-kind personality and an admirable dedication to fully experiencing and learning about each film. Hearing her talking about learning how great Joe Frazier was, was just such an unexpectedly gratifying moment. Ha. So great to see this reaction. Rocky is one of those characters that just stays with you forever. Thanks, Whimsory! 💜
You are so cool. I love these thorough reactions where you actually research and get an understanding of the movies and what they meant in context of their times and what happened to make them possible. Stallone and Rocky are the epitome of the old American dream

My favorite line is when Rocky asks her what Butkus eats and she quietly quips “He eats little turtles”😂. You can see she’s coming out of HER shell
When he takes her glasses and hat off you can see how beautiful she really is.
@@waynecanning4122 Oh "her shell" really? Your jokes are as bad as Rocky's.
@TylerD288 well makin up jokes ain't so easy sometimes.

Gazzo, Rocky's gangster boss, really loves Rocky like a son. Most underrated part of this movie IMO

burgess meredith was playing old-man characters by the early 1950s, but kept acting until the early 90s. some of his best work is in a couple of the old twilight zone episodes. the actor who played gazzo was also in "taxi driver", which was from the same year as rocky, and was one of the closest races for best picture (taxi driver vs. rocky). im surprised your research and outro didnt mention the chuck wepner connections, the resulting lawsuit, the eventual settlement etc. the 2017 film "chuck" shares the story of the "real rocky balboa". wepner was not an unknown but he was the highest ranked white boxer in the mid 70s, and, as a publicity stunt, muhammed ali gave him a title shot on those grounds. wepner worked as a collector for the mob, knocked ali down once in the fight, and lasted until the 15th round ( but not all the way through the 15th). stallone obviously lifted several ideas from the fight ali vs. wepner (1975), and this was how he wrote the script so quickly. all he wrote was basically "what if wepner was a nice man, and fell in love with a nice girl, his story could be an inspiration". also since you were surprised by the unusual name "butkus", stallone named him after the football player "dick butkus".
Whenever I see another reactor try to dance, I always think of Whimsory’s famous one-finger dance. 😂 It’s unbeatable!
@@rayhunter-o3w Frazier won an actual championship, not a fairy tale one. has philly built a statue of Frazier yet? 🤔
You were more like the suprise at the bottom of the cereal box, ay yo! (Cereal for kids used to have a charm or a toy and stuff like dat back in the day, ay yo!) Wonderful reaction 😃😊
Yo you cooking! 👨🏿🍳 🔥🔥🔥
Whimsory: "It wasn't supposed to be like this!"
Apollo Creed: "I know, right???"
🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Named after Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Dick Butkus...if I'm not mistaken
Stallone sold his dog to help fund this, not gave him away
Dick Butkus was one of the meanest nastiest destroyers of offense the NFL has ever seen. He played middle linebacker for the Chicago Bears and was feared by offensive players the league over. That's who the bulldog was named for. Glad you enjoyed the movie. As Stallone has always said, this is a romance disguised as a boxing movie. Keep the reactions coming.
This might be the best reaction I’ve seen! You’re so witty and you really do a great job of exploring the characters! You’re my favorite reactor!🙂💯
I watch a lot of commentators and reactors and this channel has the most in-depth analysis I've seen.
A perfect way to close out the work week. A new video from Whimsory.
Hi Whimsory, so glad I could watch your reaction. I really like your take at the end of your reactions. You are awesome 😊
Hear here my sentiments exactly…you remind me of my granddaughter.
first time watching your channel. I like that you do extra research after the movie. it makes a well thought out reaction. 👍🏽
Your reviews are really intresting and I love your channel, great job!
Loved the reaction and analysis as always Whimsory! Keep up the great work!
Thank the Lords, I needed a Whimsory video right about now.
Good one, Whimsory! So glad you enjoyed it. Rocky 1, 2 & 6 are my favorites, but they are all fun to watch. Thanks for sharing this one! 🙂
Rocky 6 (or better known as Rocky Balboa), is the very best bookend to the story. I watched the first one with my wife when we were married and I cried throughout the Rocky Balboa movie; it moved me so much. She likes the Rocky films as the Love Stories they are.
It’s a travesty not to have Rocky 4 on your line up!….well in my opinion
- James
Rocky isn’t a boxing movie, Rocky is a love story with boxing in it ❤️🥊
Wrong. Everybody keeps saying that, but it's actually an underdog story with love and boxing in it.
@@Billinois78 Well said and good observation!
Rocky is a fantasy about a great white hope beating a superior black champion.
the rocky series started the entire montage trope in cinema. not that it was the first to do it, but the first that was so popular that many others soon followed.
I love your outros, they are the bests, great work
You have a very blessed show, please put more reactions on.
Thanks for making your videos, they're the ones I look forward to the most.
❤ your reaction Whimsory, you learning about the production afterwards is much appreciated. This is my favorite film of all time, my second favorite is Rocky 2. I hope you react to it. It’s actually one of the only movies that I cry at the end. Tears of joy.
Great reaction Whimsary. Hope the limp is better by now.
Butkis was actually Stallone's dog, who he had to sell when he was broke. Once Stallone got the money for the movie, he bought Butkis back.
I like not just the reaction but also the review. Nice editorial ☺
The very fact that you instantly reacted like, "Training montage!" comes from this movie. This one here, turned the idea into a trope. Cuz it was soooo good.
"Even Rocky had a montage!" - Team America
Yes I was about to write that. This is the "original" training montage. I can't swear it's the first on thr silver screen, but it's by far the most influential - like millions started training because of this and to this music (which is also THE training music).
My favorite reactor doing one of mine favorite movies! I keep saying this but I really admire how much work you do when researching everything about movies after watching them. Sincerely, thank you!
Another great reaction, Whimsory. Thank you.
This is probably my favorite reaction to Rocky I've seen. You were great and I love that you give Tony Gazzo his due. A lot of people dismiss him the minute they hear what his "profession" is. And then they attribute sinister motives to all of his actions. Thanks for a great review!
That was an awesome reaction. Like all of hers I've seen.
This list has really been great for this channel
Great reaction Whimsory many many more rocky movies to go
One of my favorite parts of this movie is that at the end the announcement of the decision was in the background because it really didn't matter.
Nice job, enjoyed it.
Yo Whimsory! Whimsory!
🛎ding, ding, ding ... Whimsory movie reactions are always a knockout and WINNER!
Yea the dog's name is Butkus. Probably named after Legendary NFL Hall of Famer Dick Butrkus. Yes, Dick Butkus, arguably the greatest middle linebacker to ever play in the NFL. He also became an actor after his football career.
You can learn more about a movie or actor in a Whimsory outro after her research sessions than you have in decades knowing the film.
Hard to have self respect when we might be about to make a convicted criminal and adjudicated rapist our first dictator.
Old guy here too. We did Not lose in Vietnam. Most of us fought because we had to. Most of us saw little support on the battlefield or back at home, but we did what we could with what we had and most certainly Did Not Lose.
@@3RayJ3 We lost in Vietnam. Rice farmers defeated the greatest military in the world a true underdog story.
Awesome reaction to one of my all-time favorite films...
A very good review. Loved it ! Thank you.
Welcome to the world of Rocky! I really enjoyed your reaction. You are right, there is enough depth to this story to fuel at least one sequel and more!
I always recommend that people watch Rocky 1 and 2 back to back.
You da best, Whimsory.
26:20
Again I love your movie review style, rewatches, research then the review, the best reviews ever.
Keep them coming I am always waiting on the next one. Thanks
Loved your reaction and review. Looking forward to Rocky 2.
Whimsory your'e awsome!
🥊😉🥊
Wow genius review, nice depth, thank you from a Rocky lover!
Keep up the fantastic work! I love your reactions
You always give a true and good product. Out-tro, the best I've seen. Yeah, keep up that research.
Thanks 💐👍
Thanks, Whimsory!
Yay!! My second favorite reaction channel of all time doing one of the best movies ever
Hello Whimsory I love the way you do your reactions keep up rhe good work. 👌🏼👍🏼🫶🏼
We need more of your reactions. I really like your format of going back and give a more informed review.
Excellent reaction. Please continue with the Rocky saga, it is worth it.
*shows hand* "I sliced it, in the door yonder."
Good Lord, that made me laugh!!! 😅
there is nothing cuter than the frown whimsory makes when she disapproves of someone's actions
Her youthful exuberance, undeniable cuteness, laser focused insight, and very funny awards segment make her my fave!
You are so cool. I love these thorough reactions where you actually research and get an understanding of the movies and what they meant in context of their times and what happened to make them possible. Stallone and Rocky are the epitome of the old American dream
