They are considered villains not only because they are evil, but also because they escaped the matrix and uncovered the truth about our reality. People can't stand their might and want to deceive them out of existence.
Aizen is a top teir character because his evil is not bitter, it's not showing off, it's not even about manipulation altho he likes manipulating people, it's about cold hard facts twisted by loneliness, warped by a high intelligence, and reinforced by never knowing a equal, never letting anyone past the walls he built around himself. Dat writer doe. I hope they are alright.
In my opinion, this is way better than Itachis “We each live in our own fantasy” speech. Aizen speaks about people’s nature in general while Itachi boils it down to the individual perspective.
I don't see any difference, Itachi saying - "we live in our own fantasy" says that we find hard to accept reality and choose which truth we accept that may comfort us, indirectly saying "we live in our own fanatasy" Both the speech are kinda same
Exactly, the thing is madara was humiliated time and again, but aizen curved his own way and won , he was a man of his words. He made his opportunities himself, never relied on anyone. Greatest villain in anime
There was a nice response to this in Ichigo and Aizens final fight before the 1000 year blood war arc, at the end of the original bleach. Aizen having attained the power of the gods essentially seen Ichigo as weak, as a mounton fell behind them. in a complete 180 of this speech Aizen was fully coninved that he was the strongest of all and master by divine right. Ichigo simplely said something along the lines of. "But does it disturb you so..to see something you can not comprehend happen before your very eyes? To know that the force that fell the mounton was not YOU. But Me..drawing my blade" It was a nice bit of writing and a wonderful call back to show that he had become the thing he hated so much in this speech.
People consider aizen as pure evil, however everything he's said is correct, and he's sympathetic in this scene. He understands what Ichigo is going through, I mean you can tell by the way he's speaking to him. The reason he understands is that it's probable aizen went through the same exact feeling in his younger years and it most likely came to a head when he learned the truth about the soul king. Aizen isn't pure evil, but he isn't broken either. He's simply empty, and that, ironically, makes him one of the most fulfilling antagonist in anime history
This quote amazing It can apply to people who beleive certain ending in manga are "trash" when in reality they are just mad it didnt go their way and the author had other plans from their perceived truth
I feel like Aizen is one of those villains who's not inherently evil, just that the things he does just so happen to be bad and the protagonists stand in his way. He could easily be a protagonist of his own series as a sort of Anti-hero.
Nobody was stronger than aizen ichigos powers were just a manifestation of the hogyoku desires from his master in that case aizen to find a rival, someone to match his powers in battle
Aizen though he may be evil has a point whenever I argue with people about something they're clearly wrong about they don't listen because they're scared to change their reality I agree with Aizen there's only one thing worth knowing in life and that's hard facts
Yes I think the real reason we don't want to accept the hard facts is because we are scared to admit them, I also did that before even though deep down I knew it was true
Personally, from my own perspective towards the world around me. I don't think most people are introspective enough TO consider that they might be wrong. To me it seems people are more concerned with protecting their egos and their fragile beliefs no matter what. So even if you were to show irrefutable proof proving them wrong, they'd just refuse to see it. People in this day and age are too comfortable with accepting things from certain sources instead questioning these sources. I think it's because that it's just easier for them to claim ignorance than to take responsibility to the damage they cause. If they remain ignorant then they can just blame whoever was leading them, not wanting to accept the part that they played in. Religion, politics, the education system. People don't want to change or upset the status quo no matter how harmful it may be because it's familiar to them, they'd rather suffer in the present than work for a better future. Something I had said recently in a political discussion "If you choose the lesser of two evils then you're still choosing evil." People are content with the options laid out in front of them rather than to create a third and possibly better option. However, in doing so would change and thus upset the system. If both paths lead to destruction then make your own, because at least then you can say you tried even if you fail. Then if that happens, try again. There is nothing worse for civilization than stagnation.
Aizen is not really "evil"..Heck, Soul Society as a whole is evil..but it is necessary.. That's what the Bleach world is, just multiple people fighting over their own sense of "justice", "truth" or "reality". I don't know if you've read the manga..but what Ichibei was going to do to Ichigo was fucked up..so..yeah. In Bleach Aizen, Yhwach or "others" fight for their own way of existence..that's all there is to it.
@@stefanciocan1605 I don't know who Ichibei is I kinda sneak into the manga to see what's going on with Aizen since he's my favorite character in Bleach but other than that I kinda stay away from to to avoid spoilers I'm excited for the return of the anime.
He ain't wrong...human beings do have a tendency to try and match reality to their individual ways of thinking. It's like a psychological defense mechanism that we use when facing with something that threatens the serenity that comes with each one of us thinking the we know how the world and the things around us work.

How ironic that when he saw Dangai Ichigo in his final fight with Ichigo, he refused to believe that Ichigo had surpassed him and tried to come up with excuses and ways to defeat Ichigo, not realizing that he was already done for
Personal power is better than love self love is better than love there's no risk in loving yourself there's risk in loving others don't worry I don't care either. I'm looking for more power that's my reason for everything I will discard friends for power not love
in truth, everyon has their own sense of truth but tries to force it onto others because it distorts their perception or critical thinking. People really think and believe that their own personal truth is the only truth and that it matters but could not be more wrong
You know when I think about it Aizen fell into this exact same trap of Denial when Ichigo was about to defeat him talk about when things just got into place
It seems to me that a common problem isn't just convenience of belief, but a lack of ability to differentiate a desire from a theory of how to obtain a desire. People instinctively wrap their feelings around the theory as if it were the desire itself, and loose the ability to question it. That stops them from seeing the truth when there are inevitably flaws in their theories, even if it is unintentional.
By and large, Itachi had the same message about the essence of reality before the fight with Sasuke in the Uchiha clan's hideout, the only thing that Aizen was able to expand his thought more deeply and pathetically

- Aizen Sousuke, Art of Know.
"if you only ever go where everyone has already gone, you'll only ever discover what's already been discovered. instead, i dare to walk a path never before traversed. and i alone will discover what has yet to be discovered. new facts that challenge all of your preconceived notions of how the world works.

They are considered villains not only because they are evil, but also because they escaped the matrix and uncovered the truth about our reality. People can't stand their might and want to deceive them out of existence.
People who are evil and twist the truth are those you can never trust
Aizen is a top teir character because his evil is not bitter, it's not showing off, it's not even about manipulation altho he likes manipulating people, it's about cold hard facts twisted by loneliness, warped by a high intelligence, and reinforced by never knowing a equal, never letting anyone past the walls he built around himself. Dat writer doe. I hope they are alright.
Aizen The GOAT👑👑👑🐐🐐🐐
I Am A Huge Fan Of Villain Characters :)😊
In my opinion, this is way better than Itachis “We each live in our own fantasy” speech. Aizen speaks about people’s nature in general while Itachi boils it down to the individual perspective.
itachi is cringe, aizen is based
I thought both speeches reached the same conclusion, where is this individual perspective stuff coming from?
I don't see any difference,
Itachi saying - "we live in our own fantasy" says that we find hard to accept reality and choose which truth we accept that may comfort us, indirectly saying "we live in our own fanatasy"
Both the speech are kinda same

Exactly, the thing is madara was humiliated time and again, but aizen curved his own way and won , he was a man of his words. He made his opportunities himself, never relied on anyone.
Greatest villain in anime
Most epic antagonist ever if we can even call him evil.
And by far the best anime ever
Damn Aizen really just said Facts don't care about your feelings lmao.
Aizen: Speech about the Truth
Woke Liberal Twitter user: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Goes both way dude.
Aizen İs My Favorite Villain:)
And Pure Evil Villains Are The BEST :)
The entire planet needs to here this speech right about now
The whole world needs to know the love of Christ and his sacrifice for us all for this life is short

It can apply to people who beleive certain ending in manga are "trash" when in reality they are just mad it didnt go their way and the author had other plans from their perceived truth

I feel like Aizen is one of those villains who's not inherently evil, just that the things he does just so happen to be bad and the protagonists stand in his way.
He could easily be a protagonist of his own series as a sort of Anti-hero.
it’s shocking how these quotes are becoming more relevant today
Madara and aizen both are at another levels
They both talk about reality
Bro the type of guy to write a full paragraph about how the other persons mind isn't accepting the truth in an online argument.
Aizen, why did you eat my ice cream from the fridge?
Aizen:
Wow, this is astonishing. To the person who made this, you really have a creative mind. You are special and different.
Aizen didn't wanna accept Ichigo's power as being greater than his, shows how it came full circle lmao
Nobody was stronger than aizen ichigos powers were just a manifestation of the hogyoku desires from his master in that case aizen to find a rival, someone to match his powers in battle
This is so like Itachi's speech. Both Aizen and Itachi are alike
Of course what he says applies to himself.
Aizen wasn't comfortable with the truth, that the Spirit King was the only thing on top of everyone.

Believing is like using emotions over the truth (Hard Facts)
You know when I think about it Aizen fell into this exact same trap of Denial when Ichigo was about to defeat him talk about when things just got into place
It seems to me that a common problem isn't just convenience of belief, but a lack of ability to differentiate a desire from a theory of how to obtain a desire. People instinctively wrap their feelings around the theory as if it were the desire itself, and loose the ability to question it. That stops them from seeing the truth when there are inevitably flaws in their theories, even if it is unintentional.
