FYI - I will griddy in the next stream. I did actually forget, that was not on purpose lol.
Looking forward to your griddy. Maybe I'll be able to figure out what a griddy is. And what does this mean?
Ok
The culvers comes with a side of category 5 hurricanes and griddys
@@MaxVelocityWX Griddy?
Yay griddy
I live on Galveston Bay; I think I will start preparing seriously today. Thanks.
Already dry docked all boats Galveston, Freeport, and kehmah. We got a pool going at Marina. I got Freeport. Mrs got coastal bend.
Stay safe everybody ❤
better to be safe then sorry - i’m expecting a lot of rain
Looks like a bunch of convection is getting sheared away. Hopefully the storm doesn't suck it back in and use it to rebuild the eye wall
@@SmarteeeSteve I was thinking the same thing! Let’s hope not!
Good report thank you from Seabrook, Texas
I'm basing everything my family does on your word max. We're in a bad spot in Texas and our life depends on you my man
Yeah just going to get rain, you'll be fine
That’s not exactly fair. I’d check in on multiple sources lol.
People to keep a steady eye on to get maximum idea of what to expect
Reed timmer
Ryan hall
Local weather
Between all 4 sources you will get the most information as thing's continue to unfold keep your arsenal of information in touch with reality with those local can be a Lil wild but other 2 most definitely offer up a very reasonable opinion of what is happening and what is most likely to happen best of luck to you man
@@hohooooooooify yeah Reed timmer is the real deal to. Dude has proved himself for the last 20+ years ever since he was on that discovery channel show.
Ryan Hall rules too
As a central Texan, I just want rain. Idc about anything else here north of Austin
@@worldsgreatestdude1784 I'm in Belton. Due to how high the lake level has been our favorite camp grounds have been closed.
@@murraychadwick9362 I am over here new canyon lake and it's under 50% capacity as of last time I checked in late may that baby desperately desperately needs the rain
Thanks max I'm watching in galveston worried of course
Once again the weather people making big errors. Those spaghetti models changing are crazy. Living in Houston all my life I expected this storm to gravitate towards us eventually. Be safe out there 🙏
how were they wrong? this literally falls into the range they gave?????????? weirdos that just hate on the authority of science and probably the government and whatever conspiracy brain stuff LOL
Thanks Max. I am glad I got to see you live. You are the best weather man or person.
My dad lives in Sargent :( hoping the surge stays lower than them!
Thank you Max!!! Much love from Magnolia TX
I continue to be amazed by how accurate the National Hurricane Center has been with its forecast since day 1.
Wow! Kudos to them!
I haven't heard anything about a possible Tornado Outbreak being expected in Texas because of this, but tornadoes are possible with hurricanes. Nothing noted on the SPC or Hurricane Center Web site. But, there is always a risk. I would say around SE Texas if it stays on course, but we shall see.
Luckily, when it strengthens to Cat 1 it will be hitting land shortly after so that is good.
Looks like landfall will be between Houston and Corpus Christi - Monday sometime after noon.
Now Im getting more worried here in Houston.
Same
Also same.
Same
I think it’s coming straight to us when it’s done
I guess now this is the time when I say I told y'all Houston and SW Louisiana I told y'all it was coming to us😂
Love line of the light from the oil fields flaring natural gas south and east of San Antonio
Yeah, the Verdi storms that hog the north coast of South America seem to hit in the western gulf.. I’ve been watching for about 50 years and that’s the pattern..
That's such a weird path. Almost seems unnatural.
Manufactured that’s why
Max you forgot to talk about the heat dome that blocks hurricanes 😂😂😂
I Beryl’ing towards the U.S
I was just looking at the weather radar and there are some really weird spirals forming in the storm surge. There one small one and one really big one. It looks like a legit spiral. It came in then went out. That's kind of weird. I'm only saying this because the USA Military a while ago was experimenting with weather modifications aimed at controlling, creating, ending, and steering Hurricanes. I find it a little odd that this hurricane is going in a weird path. Right over where the Texas border is.
Texas is the perfect spot to experiment on it. They always have extreme heat and it's always blamed on for "global warming". That's good, because the people in charge of these weather events won't be blamed.
I heard there were some Hunter planes flying through it when it was over Jamaica.
I think as it intensifies and speed + the wobble can = Louisiana needs to brace for this possibility
I have a feeling straight to Houston
Hurricane news is always fun. What's the line looking like for landing north of Corpus boys?
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three T66 turbos with NOS, and a Motec exhaust system.
Thank you great presentation .
Here in mid-Michigan, we just missed a tornado, earlier today
Knowing our luck here in W-KY I guarantee it's going to make it up this way
Hopefully the Livingston dam survives
Add some lemon to your water very good for vocals no sugar singers use this .
Hurricane Katrina was a double-eyewall storm, that would be crazy if Beryl created a 2nd eye😢
Live in north Louisiana and our area on occasion does have some significant damage from hurricanes just got our ins renewal in addition to a $500 price increase the hurricane deductible has risen to 5% of your insured value…. House worth $400;000 your deductible $20,000. If your roof gets ripped off oh well! Just not right
Everyone open your refrigerator n home doors 🚪 n let the cold 🥶 front began
Nothing in Sugarland, Richmond or Houston so praise God. We will be ok👍
We will most likely flood due to too much rain
It's not a guarantee yet wouldn't be the first time it had a last second change of heart
Thanks for the updates
Itll be fine, just a little rain
I'm in Angleton Tx 😬 30 miles south directly south of Houston
TBH, if I am like most in Texas, bring it on lol. We need relief from this weather. With the exception for maybe the immediate coastline, the rest of us would welcome the cool down and rain.
No..we don’t need flooding and loss of power in the middle of summer bud
@@Thenextday8Especially loss of power being in the 90's
@@Thenextday8 Nah, everyone but the coast will be fine.
@@AnX8765 Lived in Houston all my life, been there done that.
@@Chuckclc you must not remember not knowing how strong Harvey would have been until only 2 days before…and the galleria being submerged in water, and the north side being under water..tf you mean nahh Houston will be ok..this same thing happened with Harvey???
Max, you forgot the griddy and I know you’ve just found an excuse lol just kidding. You’re good. We will remind you.
Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport, TX in 2017!
There will be more eventually. Heads up
Prepare for the worst hope for the best
I live in Rockport, TX so I'm bugging out!!
Great voice, captivating thumbnail picture, but to me it all just means it's going to rain.
So due to that normal right curve these storms always take Louisiana & Mississippi,& possibly Alabama need to pat attention!?
thank god hurricane beryl is weakening. this was a devastating hurricane
Its strengthening into a Cat-1 at the moment, fuelled from the Gulf😢
Think ted luze will run away again?
Harvey did the same thing!
sorry, our news here in houston always scare us half to death then everybody goes to buy up all the darn food and water in the stores and all we get was 2 microscopic drops of rain i’m over it, just tell me when Beryl is 15 min away then i’ll start preparing 😂
You won’t have much time to do anything in 15 minutes.
What about north west Shreveport Louisiana
When it was just off yucatan what was with west side normally just line showers where a 2nd almost as big as Beryl and looked testicle twin size ? What was with that?
What about north Shreveport Louisiana
I need a category 7
I F%@k with you HEAVY. You can tell you love this stuff, I do as well. You seem to do a better job than most "Professional TV, or other tube weather guys." "There are a few of you that do rule on RUclips. Keep up the great work and long live weather nerds.
Looks like twins developing.
😢 very bad weather is bad storm
Beryl Berylling toward texas ....
Cat 2 but yall need to prepare get boats stock up or leave
THE SIMPSONS PREDICTED JULY 15th
In Tulsa Oklahoma
A category 6 tornado
With wind 650mph
What say you about this
If it heads to north Texas what should we expect ..red river area border of Texas and Oklahoma
This is one of those storms that illustrates modern predictions, even with all the science involved, can be pretty futile. Mother Nature still rules over conjecture.
Areas like Texas and a lot more areas like Mexico
Mississippi is getting it too??😮😢
I am in corpus christi will the storm serge enter the bay?
This is almost taking the same path as Harvey. That being said- what made Hurricane Harvey Stall?? 🧐🧐
Two dueling high-pressure systems created a "dead spot" that allowed Hurricane Harvey to stay put, and even wobble its way briefly back out to the Gulf of Mexico, like a spinning top where it refuelled.
@@richard_M7116 I live in Dickinson
It's going to hit corpus 😢
What about the extreme heat?
September October
Somone mustn't like Houston, cause they had tornados run through, and now a hurricane.
Thanks for the update on the hurricane watching from San Pedro Belize
What if the two sides join
Be August soon
These weather forecaster have been guessing so wrong with scare tactics 😊
I just want rain in mo
Pray people Jesus will protect you. ❤❤❤
Very sad
Stop guessing
:< happened to me
Follow that outflow band in front of it,the cone will shift,LA Texas border
All this guessing is not helping
What freaking model is showing a T.S. still in Wichita, KS??? SHOE… bad model
Stop trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
You talk Too much and little info on it's trajectory.
Still talks to much!
Just because you don’t comprehend what he is explaining that’s on you!
You couldn’t wait until the 3 minute mark or this video to get your information? And talks too much? What exactly do you think a live stream is, dead air time?
@@scarter8137 EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINIONATED, AND HE STILL TALKS TO MUCH TO MUCH, JUST GET TO THE POINT, OF IT'S TRAJECTORY!
@@scarter8137 I completely well comprehend, HE STILL TALKS TO MUCH, A LOCAL WEATHER REPORT, THE LOCAL NEWS CAST, DO NOT TALK AS MUCH, THEY JUST GET TO THE POINT OF IT'S TRAJECTORY!

Cone is a standard size, it doesn't vary, even for little hurricanes that tend to vary path less. It's not a Cone of Uncertainty, it's a Cone drawn so that 67% of PAST hurricanes would fall within area of prediction... The true 67% cone for Beryl is narrower and gets nowhere near Houston. The Houston papers and Galveston literally rightly told people this is not a storm to worry about. A super sharp turn is not normal, it's already a big turn to hit Corpus. Let's stick to likely stuff. Save worry for Aug and Sept not this storm that'll hit 200 long miles away at Corpus. In video ingnoring models and saying it'll hit Houston over 200 miles from prediction is a wild statement, at most it'll hit Palacios 100 miles, let's not scare people based on hunch. 100 miles away is not Houston. Texas coast is big... We are past the 2.5 day till landfall, like with Katrina at Key West the final big shift has happened and been forecast and rest will be minor. Surprises are rare last 2 days, that's how prediction works it's not a Hollywood movie with big twists at end..
Are you joking? 100 miles from the Houston MSA is still the Houston MSA. 🤣
""" The total straight line flight distance from Palacios, TX to Houston, TX is 89 miles.""'. This is to downtown Houston not the Bush Airport 30 miles north... So storm hitting Palacious is not like hitting Houston, but really Galveston is the big worry, which is 95 miles from Palacious. Palacious is on NE end of Matagorda bay..... Texas coast is big. Let's research before we scare people, Corpus is far from H, same with Palacious, so if these are landfall this is far from H or G. I could be wrong but this lack of research and not helping with fear is bad approach.. I'd say based on govt info and models only 1% chance of landfall north of Palacious, 100 miles from Galveston, so gut feeling to contrary let's stick to science.
omg you drama queen
Aren't they all?
I don’t believe I saw what I clearly just saw
O no rain and windy. Never seen before 60mp wind is normal on a clear day in Montana. At the beach it's a emergency. Lol
