  • This is a clip from our controversial documentary about the battle to save Detroit's historic Tiger Stadium. On Sale!. Opening Day Special: www.glaserprod...
It features noted stand up/improv comic (and native Detroiter) Thom Sharp.
WTVS Channel 56 (Detroit PBS) refused to air it, even though they had aired several of my previous documentaries. It aired on west Michigan PBS and was nominated for more (11 Local) Emmy's than all of WTVS Detroit's programming in 2007.

Tiger Stadium is too far gone to save. It has been left to rot since 1999. This is a shame. But an even worse shame is there was time to save it immediately after the Tigers moved. Illitch's top priority was to build his own ballpark because Tiger Stadium had no luxury boxes. In doing so, he neglected even having a plan of what to do with it. This is the real tragedy.
